No you do not. "What if there were no hypothetical questions?"

The "hilarious" referred to "might fire (in your car) on the way home. This one is a case of RTFM and always switch on your AAD in the hangar. And if it's already on, switch it off and re-switch it on then. Stick to your routine. I turn my Vigil off at the end of every jumping day as part of my routine. I am not worried about it firing but I do not want it to see my climb (I drive over a mountain between my home and drop zone) and the battery to stay on. It is a very easy routine. Assuming you are in the USA you have to jump a minimum or every 30 days as a student. As an A licenses jumper you need to jump at least every 60 days. Those are the bare minimums to keep current, if you ail to meet them you will have to do a recurrency jump which will cost you more money. Just doing the bare minimum may not be enough for you to be a safe jumper--currency is important. It will not be enough for you to build your skills and advance as a jumper. If you can jump enough to be safe and build a few skills (and nobody can give you a magic number for that) then there are certainly people who participate in the sport on a casual level and yet still find it rewarding and worthwhile. It is an expensive sport, expensive to start while paying for instruction, expensive to buy and maintain gear, expensive if you want to jump regularly and build skills. Father beats man to death for sexually abusing his daughter...

Even if charged this sounds like a prime candidate for jury nullification. "What if there were no hypothetical questions?" -
What are the rates of failure of the Cypres? What are the rates of failure for the Vigil II? "What if there were no hypothetical questions?"

To be clear--they assume if you are married to the mother than you are the father, but you can dispute it? Is this true regardless of the age of the child? I think that is non-rebuttable in many states (or only able to be rebutted for a very lmiited time) "What if there were no hypothetical questions?" -
texas finally got something ... almost right
Southern_Man replied to turtlespeed's topic in Speakers Corner
Not disagreeing with the overall tone of your post but I do not believe a man should be forced to pay child support for a child who is not biologically his own. I believe this should be true even if he was married to the mother and has functioned as the father through any age. The mother has committed fraud in such a situation. Texas highway to have the highest speed limit in the nation
Southern_Man replied to JohnRich's topic in The Bonfire
For a while Montana had no posted speed limits on their highways during the day (and I think it was 75 at night). You could be ticketed for driving unsafe (too fast) for conditions but no limit was posted. It didn't work out so well, so they went back to posting limits. I've been known to eat apple cores as well as sins, so generally not in favor of peeling or wasting. Sometimes, as with oranges, lemons, and limes, I will first grate the peel, which I then save and use in cooking other dishes. "What if there were no hypothetical questions?"

Depends on the circumstances but if there is any question of paternity then I would get a test. Note: you can get a test yourself, the judge doesn't have to order it (although if you have gotten to a hearing and not done it, this is the most straightforward way). NM Court: Christian Business Owners Have No Rights
Southern_Man replied to RonD1120's topic in Speakers Corner
will be soon enough. The need remains ever apparent. no matter - in this day, people in the wedding business that want to keep making money will welcome the chance to work on gay weddings. When San Francisco first (illegally) legalized weddings, it was a boon for the local economy. Jewelry, flowers, photographers, alcohol, catering...it's silly to give up the business. Photographers are at risk of being put out of business by every layman like me with a 5d or a Nikon D700/800. I have no idea how soon it will be, but it is certainly legal to discriminate on sexual orientation in VA, and I suspect it will be for some time to come. I do agree that the professional photography business faces serious challenges, the ones I know are hustling for every school event, ball club pictures, etc. that they can (in addition to the wedding business). NM Court: Christian Business Owners Have No Rights
Southern_Man replied to RonD1120's topic in Speakers Corner
[reply The problem here is that gays are a protected class , drunks are not, and for obvious reasons. In fact, the law often prohibits you from serving alcohol to people who are openly intoxicated. I've read about this subject in professional photography forums. The law is fairly clear - this doesn't differ from refusing to serve to blacks. Some express fear that they might lose future business if they do a gay wedding. Others mock the idea of turning down business in a market that is saturated with providers. Lot of discussion about 'pretending to be busy' (iffy), flat out turning them down for being gay (invites this litigation), or telling them that they aren't comfortable with it and may not do their best work (customers will likely find a better provider). In New Mexico they may be a protected class, this is not true everywhere. "What if there were no hypothetical questions?" -
This is not necessarily contradictory according to what I was taught in basic civics. The Federal Government is a government of few and enumerated rights. I was taught that local governments (and this may vary by state) only had the inherent powers that the state legislature granted them in their charter. "What if there were no hypothetical questions?"

Unbelievable. Forced sterilization was done in the past and was deemed repulsive to the Nth degree. Maybe we HAVE totally lost it. It's not forced, it's conditional. Those who don't want to be sterilized just don't get further government aid. The alternative is supporting/encouraging people who can't support the children they have, to have more. Won't hold up to court scrutiny, so pretty pointless to argue about here. "What if there were no hypothetical questions?"

Pakistan, time for the USA leave it alone?
Southern_Man replied to Skyrad's topic in Speakers Corner
I think the difference would be that we would find and remove them before mexico could do it. Yes, because there aren't any Mexican gangs in the US. "What if there were no hypothetical questions?" -
I'm seeing lawyers on both sides of the fence disputing the law and the law being applied unevenly where interpretations by different courts result in different applications in similar situations. I don't think you can reasonably dispute that. That is what is telling me that the SYG law was not well enough written to be more specific with regards to limiting those interpretations. Yes, you could probably dispute MY interpretation of what I'm seeing. Well, either the law isn't clear or the cops, prosecutors, and courts and not applying it as intended. The Tampa Bay article reported that cops refused to charge somebody who shot another person in a drug deal gone bad. It looks pretty evident to me that SYG is not available to people who are engaged in illegal activities at the time, so either it isn't as clear as it should be or the police are just ignoring it in making a decline to charge decision. Likewise, I think it is clear in the law that you can intentionally provoke a physical confrontation and then shoot the person once it has escalated. I don't think that is right.
