no reason to at all.. Sex is a biological process. Love is an emotional/mental attachment. they dont HAVE to be connected at all.(its nice when they are however) the only reason they are/have been historically is social engineering. ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed.

no no more injections that was only for a 6month period in college. I'm not exactly disciplined about the 1000 pill either, but I take at least 2-3 a week when i remember in the morning.. one thing about taking a fist full of vitamins daily.. you HAVE to drink alot of water otherwise they dont break down very well and you end up pissing most of it out (you'll do that anyway, but the extra water is good for you and helps with absorption) ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed.

I swear by Vitamin E. I participated in a study in college (free money whheee) and the obscene amounts they were injecting me with pretty much removed all the years of BMX and Skate scars.. I still take 1000 i.u a day and the surgery scar from where i femured myself several years ago is nearly invisible (its large enough you can see the texture) but the 'shallow' rope burn scars i used to have on my arms are completely gone.. note: not an MD, but between internal and topical Vitamin E i've got nearly no easily visible scars at all despite a life time of use and abuse and i'm a fair skinned type too.. ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed.

The Villification of Michael Vick and our own Cultural Ignorance
Zenister replied to Duckwater's topic in Speakers Corner
Good Post.. and I agree on many points, but facts are he broke the law. My issue is with how big a deal the media and the public are making out of this...there are far worse criminals in nearly every major sport and yet their cases have never gotten this level of attention... a perfect illustration of how ignorant the 'masses' can be when manipulated by sensationalist media forces.. ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed. -
We brought them to school - the secretaries in the office would keep them for us. No biggie, everyone knew how to shoot and was comfortable and respectful about guns. middle school ROTC, there was actually a shooting range in the school's basement, but then that was a DoD school.. everyone a military brat even if not in the ROTC program ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed.

From reading these boards, this seems to be the typical American mindset on guns i get the impression that Americans want to see every single person carrying a gun "just in case" they ever need to defend themselves "it is better to have it and not need it, than need it and not have it" pretty much applies to any tool... be prepared or be (a lower) part of the food chain. ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed.

nope... if it happens it happens.. if you 'force it' at all youll just screw up DZ life for you, her and anyone else involved.. ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed.

You are looking for the wrong chicks in the wrong places then.. I certainly wouldnt use a poll on DZ.com to determine that 'no one likes long haired guys' If it would grow out evenly (damn your MPB grandfather!! ) I'd let mine grow out again..... being naturally curly I had women all my junior/highschool/college life coming up to me and talk (and pull a curl down to say 'sprong' they ALWAYS make the sound) to complement me on it and say how much they'd paid in their lifetime to get their hair to do that.... once they are talking to you, the door is open, after that long hair/short hair doesnt matter at all really its more up to how charming and seductive YOU are.... I wouldnt say my success rate was any lower in the military than it was when i was wearing full metal regalia, the 'opener' just changed.. when I'm 50 and no longer care I'm going to resurrect the 'ben franklin' but atm I'm still to vain to deal with the 3 years of 'white boy 'fro' (now would be "bozo 'fro") that I went thru around age 10-12.. ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed.

you dont,( call your lawyer ) particularly if you didnt read the warnings/instructions prior and then didnt follow them afterwards. I had ASA (very similar to PRK here) and while they tell you the 'optimal' results they should have also told you the 'long end' of recovery times (i'm sure it was in your paperwork) I was pretty much still staggering blind 4 days afterwards (on Monday, surgery on a Thurs, had told work I'd be back in as some people were.. I was not).. It worried me enough I called and the Dr sent an assistance to pick me up for another eye exam to illustrate and confirm that my vision and light sensitivity was improving, and made sure I had enough meds... dont stress yourself or your eyes... take your drugs, sleep alot... listen to music... keep up your eyedrops... dont worry about seeing for a bit.. in 10 days (the 2nd monday) i was 20/20 and in 30 no halos at all even from stadium lights.. best money I've spent on anything in my life... no contacts no glasses...still 20/20 4 years later life is good... ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed.

SVCO DOES get the kids to fly-- AWESOME coaching and instruction!
Zenister replied to tunnelmom's topic in Wind Tunnels
Its nice weighing -
Great Tunnel, lovely facility and amazing staff... beer for first recirculator.. must say i'm very impressed.. smooth and quiet (a little humid) but not the heat gun Eloy would be right now.. solid, professional coaching had my sister (with no experience at all) flying nice and stable on her second rotation.. decent turns and some leveling by the time she was done... if anything I was flailing (should have brought my own suit.. forgot how much that extra material can fly you around.) will definitely by back for more tunnel crack in NH whenever I'm on this side of the country. ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed.

Zenister replied to DropDgorgeous's topic in Speakers Corner
But there could be an invisible, but omni-present, omicient, omnipotent Crow in the box who chooses to remain invisible so you have to take his existence solely on faith and on the Word of the holy writings of Dropzone.com (which, of course, are self-authenticating because they are the works of many authors in many locations over many years and are brought together to spread the Word)....couldn't there? every now and then i fall in love in SC... and it scares me.. ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed. -

you got a little spittle there - right there, on your collar you outrage at whatever it is you are upset about is reflected this way? ----> {{we might as well abolish them completely }} What exactly are you hypothesizing as a solution? HOw do you "abolish" the 'concept' of states rights, state to state parity? especially under the argument that they don't exist anyway one should close the door the rest of the way? Since you and Amazon don't believe that individual states (only individuals) should have leverage in politics, then I assume you also propose we abolish the Senate? Since it doesn't have any power anyway? they DONT have any leverage... and there never was a 'state to state parity'. The entire system of State vs Federal governance is broken. No state can make any law that the federal government doesnt fully agree with, No state has any leeway in how they wish to govern if it clashes with the Federal will. I dont propose abolishing them.. I propose returning their internal sovereignty to them and removing the choke hold the Federal government has increasingly inflicted on them. This actually EMPOWERS the people, because if/when they are a voting minority in their current state, they then have the option to relocate to where the 'law of the land' suits their needs and ideals, thereby shifting the political climate and giving states with the most 'public appeal' more political power due to increasing population and income. Currently the differences between states are negligible in nearly all aspects except climate and the 'historical divisions' that determine where the state lines are drawn equally meaningless. ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed. -
Wired Mag: "Technology Makes Skydiving Foolproof"
Zenister replied to ntrprnr's topic in The Bonfire
ive used this point to help convince a few people to try... most people cannot accurately explain how a modern braking system works, rarely even look at it themselves, much less participate in its regular maintenance and yet have complete 'faith' that when they press the pedal at 90mph the car will stop. In addition you must have faith that not only your own brakes will function as desired, but that everyone else's around you will as well.. As skydivers (smart ones) you can inspect every part of your equipment personally, you can control its 'reset' directly and verify its condition prior to each jump. The description of the process involved to slow/stop you is fairly straight forward (in comparison to modern anti lock brakes) and yet which system do more people entrust their lives to every day?? note: this is not a 'safer than driving' argument. It is simply pointing out the levels of 'faith' required in each technology. ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed. -

Zenister replied to lawrocket's topic in Speakers Corner
what states rights? they pretty much have none in the current system.. at any point if they attempt to go against the grain of the federal government they lose.. "State's rights" is a meaningless term now.. we might as well abolish them completely (or return their authority to define what is and is not legal within their borders) ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed.
