obviously I cant do a 'side by side' comparison, but being a very visual person ( I think I'd notice if paintings Ive viewed all my life were different) I cant say I noticed ANY difference after the first 30 days.. maybe I just got lucky.. but I still say it was the best money I've spent.. my insurance plan also paid 20% as long as it was through an approved Dr.. (the one I linked above was) ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed.

flexibility and hardware. ('have it and not need it than...') the IMAC peeps get consistently higher framerates than most windows OS even using parrallels.. that is important enough for some.. but honestly its because I want to be able to use the hundreds of thousands of third party apps that will run in Windows..and occasionally edit video :) ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed.

she's nice eye candy.. but the more I watch this show the less impressed I am with their 'methods' alot of the 'tests' they do and the way they chose to approximate and use themselves as examples (particularly for human feat stunts) are just plain wrong and wouldnt meet any objective test criteria ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed.

being confident you can do so without hurting yourself helps alot... Practice these until you are confident in your ability to do them... its only dirt.. it washes off easier than blood... ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed.

which is the perfect time to meditate.. learning to focus when its 'easy' doesnt help much...learning to focus when the world is exploding around you and/or you are on your last nerve is when it pays off.. its the same reason you practice physical techniques to exhaustion THEN apply them.. it illustrates 'where you really are' and reveals the faults you need to work on. ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed.

I would say thats exactly the same with Windows. A tiny minority of people ever even get as far as the registry. Most people email, check the internet, the odd bit of word processing maybe, some are gamers, some are creative types. How many actually mess with the OS? well gamers specifically quite alot.. Competitive types know that they need every bit of performance out of their machines or they will often lose on that alone... Ive spent a good bit of time teaching my 'team' how to optimize their boxes; registry fixes, killing resource hogs, driver conflicts and optimization (the newest driver isnt always the most efficient for gaming needs) setting up RAM drives etc.. up until recently the Mac crowd was pretty much out in the cold ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed.

I sound like a broken record lately but... meditation.. I can sleep pretty much anywhere at anytime.. granted drifting into sleep is something you are supposed to work on NOT doing to meditate, but it is a useful 'side effect' when all I want/need is sleep. ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed.

with certainty.. if they cant use it as part of an Ad it doesnt count.. I'm thinking freefall still though... although there are only a few places you could case a keg/cask in a stand... ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed.

the most fun Ive had was watching a drunk in a bar tell a "hot skydiver chick" about his "airborne experiences"... not realizing that she had 3000 jumps and that the other side of the bar (the rest of us she was out with) were having trouble breathing from some of the claims he was making... ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed.

Any skydivers entered anything? would seem like a perfect opportunity for say a 3 way up right carve around a falling keg in full pirate regalia ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed.

focus on your breathing... force yourself to exhale for a count of 10 then inhale for a count of 10... if you practice this breathing pattern often it will come naturally whenever you begin to feel stress or anxious. ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed.

understandably everyone is different.. but my first question is: have you seriously explored meditation? not simply taken a class and given up after a week, but studied the various methods (not all work for everyone of course), applied the concepts and practiced daily?? it doesnt come easily (so many give up before they make the first steps of progress) but it has HUGE benefits long term.. because really, how do you think people dealt with this BEFORE modern medication? This is not a 'new' issue... ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed.

always check references... snopes has been incorrect/inaccurate before (although they usually fix it pretty quickly) ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed.

you are aware displaying avatars is optional? I turn them off on slow connections anyway.. one less thing to wait on.. ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed. -
People don't think of it in seconds of exposure, but rather in events. this is key I imagine.. new students add the 8ish (whatever it is) hours of classes they get to their 'experience' time.. this is completely incorrect.. Imagine sitting in a class learning about tennis for 8 hours.. then playing for 45 sec, then back to an hour class, then 45 sec of play time... how 'good' would you expect to be? sure you probably know the rules by that point.. but performance? maybe more emphasis on the 'very brief' window of actual experience would help correct this misconception.. when I train soldiers I'm always focused on the 'hands on' portion of the tasks.. if I dont have an 'official trainer' with me I cover the 'death by powerpoint' sections in 1/8th the time the lecturers do so I can devote more time to actual performance based training and evaluations. Very few people learn physical tasks well through lecture.. ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed.

I presume you mean that the Mac is the manual. I have way more control shelled down to Unix BSD than I ever had at DOS. And as for apps taking over the whole machine like they do with PC's, don't you wish you could have the joy of issuing a nice kill -9 xxxx ? not at all.. I dont use 'superman' Apps anyway.. I expect my machine to do exactly what I tell it when I tell it, not attempt to 'figure out' what I want...which is why I wont be loading Vista.. MACs are for people who generally dont want to know how/why something does what it does.. those actually playing with the Unix BSD on their macs are the minority... even MAC's commercials play to the ignorant masses.. their basic premise is a Strawman Fallacy. ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed.
