  1. On each hand and foot? Yes. One extra finger on my left hand, like a extra pinkey finger. And one extra toe on my right foot At least ya balance out...otherwise you would swim in a circle! HAHA! Now that was funny! Unfortunately they choped them of when i was a baby Now i just keep them in a glassjar with me all the time until me and my extra extremities have figured out a plane to take over the world

  3. You are correct, it is a very nice jumpplane. But a single engine otter with 16-17 jumpers? I know of two Otters in Sweden. One is in Gryttjom (Stockholm) but thats a Twin Otter, that houses 22 jumpers. Never jumped that plane, just know it exist. And the other is a DHC-2 Single Otter that runs at Everöd dropzone. This plane is a turboprop with a 750 HP enging (if i remebers correct) that takes 10 jumpers. I probably have about 100 jumps from this plane. There could be others, but i have not heard of any other Otters in Sweden
  4. I was born with 11 toes and 11 fingers.
  5. I dont think that can be done without making a userform and placing the listboxes there (called combobox (activeX) in the userform menu). But that means it get more coplicated and you probably need to type your own software.
  6. No. Hint: use the wingload calculator EDIT: Oops. Missed that the OP said his exitweight 210. I read it as his weight was 210
  7. Yes i did think about that. And i had a plan for it, to cut of a piece of a old bed sheet and place that ontop of the canopy. Like the ones some CRW canopys have, but a homemade one.
  8. I think you ARE missing something. From what I am making out your "problem" is that you don't know that using mini ring-ed risers with large ringed harness is completely acceptable. your writing suggests that you think that mini-rings are only available on mini risers, which is not true. No i do understand that i can use minirisers on both "minirigs" and normal sized. But since i have only seen one rig (the one i sold last year) that is made for canopys 200+ sqf with minirisers, i dont see a reason to have minirisers. All rigs in the area that i can squeeze down the canopy in has large rings.
  9. Thats what i think Robin was thinking of. But i dont know if i will need it. Most (all) student rigs around here have large rings, and thats the only other rig i can think of that i would need to hook it up to. If i would have two BASE rigs with different size rings i could see the use. If i have read my homework correct, the minirisers are weaker than full size risers but still strong enough to take a slider off. I cant see any reason to buy the minirisers at this point, but when/if i buy a new rig with minirisers i can see a use for them. Or am i missing something?
  10. No, ask your rigger if you can visit him/her while packing a reserve and do it on a real rig instead. The hanging harness has probably been used a few hundred times and the velcro is nowhere near as strong as the ones you have on a normal rig. When the rigger repacks the reserves he/she must pull out both main and reserve canopy, the handles must be pulled, and its better that you learn to pull them than the rigger. The very last option is as you said the hanging harness. But unless the velcro has recently been replaced its not going to teach you what force is needed.
  11. Somtimes velcro can be hard to just pull off. Peel means that you should release the velcro before trying to pull the handle. When you grab the cutaway handle you should make the same movement as when you are drinking from glass or any other aluminium can. The idea is to move your pinky finger up/out, this means you are geting the least resistant from the velcro as you are peeling it little my little instead of all of it at once
  12. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5O2mu-W-ZNc&hd=1 It seems somethings wrong with your data, or the conversion you made to get it as a overlay. Looking at the video when you start driving uphill at ~2:00 you see that every other vertical velocity is negative while you are still gaining altitude. My guess is that you by misstake are subtracting wrong way around at every other entry. But regarding the GPS and their software, so there is no gpx, kml, csv-files you can just copy of the cameras memory card? You have to use easy edit to get access to the GPSdata.
  13. Your saying that you get a higher speed in wingsuiting than freeflying or speeddiving?
  14. Buy mini-risers. When i first read your reply i was sure you where joking, but i keept thinking of it at work. Are you saying i should have minirisers because its easier to just attach the canopy to a different rig?
  15. It is a type of velcro, its called Dual lock and are made by 3M. Its very strong. I have not yet seen anyone geting it of at the first try. It usually takes two or three trys before you get the camera of for the first time
  16. REMOVE THE TETHER! I agree its a good mount, but it wont work with a visor as his helmet has.
  17. Other than the fact the anti-freeze can kill you... Chuck Darwin award
  18. It does work, and the reason is that the avocado (like most other fruit and veg) produce the ethylene gas, and by sealing it in a bag the gas it produces helps to ripen the fruit. However using an accelerator is better, such as the gas in pure form or a other fruit as i mentioned above that produces more ethylene gas the avocado itself. The reason for the paper bag is because the paper bag lets the fruit breath but still is sealing enough to hold the gas in place. A plastic bag does work, but it will not let out the moist air and the fruit will/might mold. Basicly anything that is not 100% airtight works, so if you want to use your grandma's old panties, cardboard box, or whatever you might find, it will do the job. If the fruit or vegetables are exposed for a long time by this gas it will destroy the fruit or vegetable. Imagine the ethylene exposure you get in a trailer or cargotrain when you have a full load of apples. If there is no ventilation the whole load can be destroyed or damaged.
  19. I have no clue, but im not sure i would want to use antifreeze on my food.
  20. WOW. I am amazed! The answers i got when i googled it is not what i would have expected. I found one answer to use flour, that wont help, its the ethylen that does the trick. Bananas was another tip i found. It is true that bananas produce ethylene but not much, however they are sensitive/very sensitive to ethylene. That could be the reason for this tip, common confusion. Tomato, was also a tip i found. Tomatos just like bananas are sensitive to ethylene but very low producer of ethylene. Google does not have the answer to everything. To back up my statements, i have worked in the buissenss for 8 years and have the "education" to class fruit and vegerables. At my work we have several gaschaimbers to ripe fruit and vegs, but is only used to bananas.
  21. Sweet! Or wait a minute! Is that because you want it on video??
  22. Buy apples, preferably red apples, and store them together. Or passion fruit. Or the best option of all buy ethylene gas and gas them. But thats not something you normally find in a grocery store The passion fruit and apples produce ethylene gas that will speed up the process. Cherimoya is the top fruit to produce ethylene gas but is perhaps harder to find and probably more expensive.
  23. And thats my point, you want a wire to an external antenna but not a wire to a ear bud. If you are worried about the wire snaging, just tape it to the helmet. I tape it from the GPS and all the way untill it goes under the edge on the helmet. Yes i hope you can hear your audible, but can you hear the differnce between two tones with the windnoise. But i agree, if you are distracted with all your gadgets as it is now i dont recomend you to buy one.
