They were lifting 20 on first load after refuelling, and 22 on the second and third load We did a 20 way, I was in the second group (we had to go in 2 groups for weight & balance. When the first ten left and my group was running to the "hole!!!" the plane acted really funky because of 10 people getting out. I had a butterfly-like feeling because of the wobbling just at the moment I got out, wwwwwooooooooowwwwwww That was the coolest exit ever, what a feeling. Been a long while since I had that WHHHHOOOWWW SSHHHIIIITT feeling on exit! radical! "Don't make me come down there" - God. Just a few images of a perfect weekend! First pic is friday-night, Skyvan just arrived at Spa (Belgium) in replacement of their Caravan. The ass with at that point big wallet in it is me! Sunday evening that wallet was a lot thinner!!! see here: http://134.130.112.40/resources/galerie/20020621/img0003.jpg Second one a tandem master (really cool guy) taking a sleep! see here: http://134.130.112.40/resources/galerie/20020623/img0015.jpg Third one a shot on one of the jumpruns, I'm in the bottom left with the black helmet and the yellow grips. see here: http://134.130.112.40/resources/galerie/20020622/img0019.jpg This weekend was sooo great. 1 4-way on friday, worked really well Saturday 2 2-ways, 1 hybrid 3-way (me the only one on the belly, that arch to get level hurt!!!!) and one 20-way that didn't work out, my slot wasn't ready at 4000ft, so I kinda lay there in the "dead spider" position! Sunday one 4-way and a really cool 6-way (3 pairs staying together flying blocks) This was my best weekend skydiving so far!!!! The evening bbq's, bottles of rhum and atmosphere were like the cherry on the pie!!!! "Don't make me come down there" - God. Whats the best way to track like a bat outa hell?
AiRpollUtiOn replied to Viking's topic in Relative Work
I personally tuck my chin, this way it's easy to see the others tracking between your legs. Don't know if this gives better speed, but it sure is easy to see the other guys. For the rest I'd go with previous replies, try all of it out and devellop your own technique from there on. "Don't make me come down there" - God. I'd probably still be hanging around at clubs, drinking rhum & coke all night, chasing the ladies... That was a beautiful life, but since the day I started skydiving I sorta stopped doing that, prioritized... You know, as from the day you run out of money when going out, you run out of friends. At a DZ, most people are pretty much broke anyway!!!! I've been gliding and been flying propeller aircraft and training jets, none of them gives me a similar feeling. Sex comes pretty close though! All is well that climbs well Tom

It's actually quite handy if you know how to shut down Cypres, example: you go on a jumping holliday and decide to makeone more jump a few hours before you take a plane back home. You'll never pass customs with it switched on, and who knows what it 'll do once in the luggage department... All is well that climbs well Tom

Hang me under a 46 and I'll be going wwwaaayyyyy too fast for any birdman suited nutso to even get close to a dock!!! All is well that climbs well Tom

Have you guys considdered my jump count in this advise? For the moment I'm at 116, flying a Sabre 150 at 1.3 I'm thinking about going for new gear next season, when I should be at about 250 - 300 jumps. What about sizing??? I love to go fast, recently had dive loops installed on my rig, but I don't want to push it... The reason I ask is that out here there aren't many people jumping cobalts, so I don't really know much about it. Sabres, Stilletto's and contrails are like the most common canopies out here (except for those who buy PDF material, but I'm not into french material...my rigger seconds and thirds me on that on, I think he would even fourth that if necessary) All is well that climbs well Tom

My turn for some shameless self promotion......
AiRpollUtiOn replied to Sebazz1's topic in The Bonfire
Nice article Sebazz, one sentence that convinced me that this guy needs a few more jumps to completely get over whuffo-status: All is well that climbs well Tom -

I think skydivers lack ambition to spend money on the latest trends in the fashion world, except for choosing the colour of their canopy / rig All is well that climbs well Tom

You're propably right Maybe I should go for the clean approach. Would be great to go for the original plan though... All is well that climbs well Tom
