Yesterday was a holliday here in Belgium, but I had completely forgot about that so I brought my rig to my rigger on monday. Unable to jump myself I volunteered to be ground-crew for an exhibition jump at a soccer tournament. I took the wrong exit off the highway, and it took me very long to get there. When finally arived I could allready hear our cessna 206 approaching and so I rushed to the landing spot to ignite a smoke-pod. When jumping over a little fence I hurt my knee pretty bad! Result: I'm on a 2 day sick-leave (and enjoying it!) My doctor told me I could leave the house so I'm planning a trip to Rotterdam tomorrow, there's this rigging and suits shop out there, just going over for a coffee and a gearbag! You see, we all know that the skydive-related activities are more dangerous than the actual skydive. (We see the white tunnel every time when crossing a particular road on the way back from the DZ to the airstrip for example) Maybe this is a lame story, but I was wondering if anyone had similar stories, hopefully funny ones! Actually I don't care as long as the boobies are aight, however, a few months ago I met this girl that looked like 23 or something, we hooked up and 2 weeks later it turned out she was only 17 (no problem here in Belgium, you can go down to 16 since a few years so I didn't have to worry about the law. I believe that here in Belgium, everyone that fits into the tandem harness is allowed to jump (with parents concent if under 18 ofcourse) A few weeks ago we had a kid aged 11, he enjoyed the ride! All I can tell you about is the Z1. For me it's the most comfy of the lot. Parasport Italia isn't so good in the field of customer service, but I don't think that's necessary fo'r these helmets, they are of good quality so what do you need them for after purchase??? The only problem I experienced in the beginning was an irritating noise when opening/closing the visor, but this is fixed in one minute, just adjust the visor screws, sometimes they're too tight Will jump for beer, bs AiRpollUtiOn
