As long as the drive is set to be "optimized for quick removal" you're fine. If it is an external hard drive and "optimized for performance" its a bigger deal.     Got the offer in writing today, quite a bit more money that I was expecting... Start December 3rd. Put in a 3 week notice shortly after accepting the offer. Hopefully they don't shit can me before then, but it won't make much difference to me. The pile of papers is growing on my desk...     How many students have you seen try to flare the aircraft at 20' with a quick pull on the yoke? Well, skydiving isn't much different. An aircraft pilot has an edge because they understand the purpose and 'feel' of a flare. Understanding how and why the canopy flies the way it does, goes a long way.     I was doing touch and goes sometime last year after getting soloed a few flights earlier. One of them I touched down, forgot to put the flaps up before applying full power. THAT made me pull off the runway at the first available taxi-way and regain my composure. Learned my lesson on that one.
