Alright a solid week!! I've only been forced to kill 3 people, which is a new record for quitting for me. I normally average one per day. Those three are: 1) The dweeb in the BMW in front of me who feels he is capable of reading the WSJ, yapping on his cell phone, sucking a latte, smoking a cigarette all while driving 35 in a 45 mph zone. Truth be told this was early in the week and if he had not been smoking I probably just would have wounded him. 2)The 500 lb black lady, driving her (3) 500 lb each girlfriends to the mall in the red Toyota Corrolla with the back right wheel only held on by one lug nut....doing 55 mph in a 45 mph zone no less, and weaving in and out of traffic like she was racking up passing points in a video game. That tire was moving around more than Osama Bin Laden. Her way cool hat with the feathers almost spared her life.......But once the tire popped off and she became a roadblock I had to kill her for gross stupididty and exceeding maximum allowable weight limit in an economy car. 3) And the last guy was at the gas station. You know the guy. He stands there all day long, waiting for you to come in......catching you after a bad day, after sitting in rush hour traffic. You walk in to pay for your gas and he asks you real loud " HEY MAN! What kind of cigarettes you smoke? What if I gave you three free packs of Winston just for filling out this survey?" I beat the fucker to death with a pack of Hostess frosted doughnuts. I'm hoping that when the cops got there, they mistake him for a coke overdose. JJ "Call me Darth Balls"

Don't bother gettting a suit yet. If you are starting with sitflying, a sweatshirt will provide enough upper body drag. (make sure it is tucked in tight so it doesn't cover a handle at the wrong time.) In fact with baggy legs on a FF suit you may have a real hard time learning to sit. If you have any coaches at your DZ, talk to them first. Most are going to tell you to learn to sitfly real well...and for that, there is no need to spend cash on a FF suit. JJ "Call me Darth Balls"

You have jumped a LP, so you know the kind of winds I'm talking about. (Not that LP has the worst winds, but they can be fierce, inconsistent, gusty and from multiple directions) If landing into the wind, like a nice calm gusty 20 mph LP day....and say about 20 feet off the deck, while riding in about 1/4 brakes...your wind that you are landing into decides to quit on you? My perception is that the canopy is going to surge forward (less resistance to it's forward progress) and drop like rock at first until it gets it's speed back. In this case how would you fly your canopy...being only 20 feet or so up? Under these exact conditions I got slammed last year. As soon as the wind died I went to a full flare trying to slow the initial drop. But it felt like there was nothing there. This left me with the thought that coming down on front risers, with so extra speed would have at least left me with some flare. It was like hitting a vacuum.... Your take on it?? My personal feeling, Hussein posed a threat to our security. Not so much through WMD, but terrorism. He funded, allowed training camps to operate.....We were justified in going into Afghanistan as well. As for WMD, it could all be propaganda, but didn't some Iraqi just admit to having a ton of shit sent to Syria weeks or months prior to us going in??? I don't want to get wrapped up into another who's right or wrong debate. It always comes down to each government doing what is in it's best interest. Or call someone a Nazi or Weak-minded because they disagree with your line or method of questioning. If you want to question the government how about mandantory seat belts?? I don't think it is the same one. When I got it as a demo it didn't have risers on it and had never been jumped. A year later and it looks like maybe 100 jumps tops have been put on it. Did you jump it at all? Would you remeber the SN#? JJ "Call me Darth Balls"
