  1. Those are hardly analogous to the current situation. Boston didn't knowingly harbor and support Al Qaeda. If the IRA were to do the same things that Hezbollah did I am sure Britain would react quite harshly. As of yet I have never heard of the IRA launching missiles at Britain or kidnapping any British soldiers, have you?
  2. The state of Lebanon houses them. They support Hezbollah. side note. I have never seen the Not equal statement written as /=. Where is this from? I have seen it written as != or =! or
  3. It really doesn't matter if those are truly legitimate military targets or not. The bottom line remains Hezbollah started a war they cannot finish. All wars have collateral damage and casualties. Hezbollah's strategy increases the amount of collateral damage. If Hezbollah hadn't started this war there would be no war.
  4. I don't personally support Israel, but if Hezbollah hadn't started this offense then this would not be happening. That is pretty damn clear. In this case Israel didn't attack Hezbollah with out provocation. I find your references to brown people to be rather humorous. You don't know me. You don't know my nationality. How do you infer from my statement that I am against brown people? Do you support Hezbollah??
  5. I am sure Hezbollah will be able to meet all those needs.
  6. Yea and the biggest example is religion. How many wars have been fought over that?
  7. Yeah I agree with that. SDU definitely turns out better skydivers over all. But like others have pointed out a lot of that coaching used to be done by an informal mentoring by experienced jumpers. The only problem with mentoring is that it wouldn't be as consistent as the SDU program. If they had it available when I did my AFF and I had the money I sure would have opted for SDU. I think the SDU is worth the money. It's just hard to sell to someone who has already forked out a bunch of cash just to finish AFF.
  8. Sure they can always go somewhere else. Just not much to choose from nearby.
  9. I would like to point out that that is not unique to Americans or any other country. You can look at pretty much any and every war ever fought and you will find examples of this on both sides. It is a very common way to drum up support for a war. If you weren't so hung up on demonizing Americans you wouldn't have made that an American trait. Ironic isn't it? How you became your own example. Do you have any other generalizations? If you stop and think you would realize that it is a human prediliction to put people in general catagories.
  10. Wow that is a good deal. But it is offset by their requirement that all students must do a certain number of SDU coached jumps before they can get their A license. It would have taken me a lot longer to get my A license if I had to do that. I think that the SDU coaching is very helpful and a great idea, but you do need to factor that in when considering the price of training.
  11. They are pretty much two totally different designs. The Sabre 1 is not eliptical at all, the Sabre 2 is lightly eliptical or tappered as PD describes it. The Sabre 2 is a big improvement from the Sabre 1. The openings are not as brisk as the Sabre 1 and I think the flare is much better on the Sabre 2. I would recommend the Sabre 2 over the Sabre 1 any day.
  12. Yeah there is no way that any jury or judge would ever let this guy go free. Although if he had a good lawyer he could possibly get off on an insanity plea. Not likely cosidering his current position. I am willing to bet money that he will be convicted and sent to prison for life. Hopefully they will put him in general population and the inmates will have fun with him before beating him to death.
  13. That is true. If I had my way there wouldn't be 20 years of appeals. That guy should be hung by his neck till dead from the nearest tree 10 min after the verdict is heard.
  14. There are some people that are beyond rehabilitation. Why waste money on keeping them alive? http://www.cnn.com/2006/LAW/08/03/sex.ritual.ap/index.html
  15. On the first post I didn't have time to explain. But since you asked here goes. The Rendering dept. is where they process all the inedible parts of the pig. The first step is all the garbage such as intestines, head and any scraps that can't be used for anything etc, goes to what was called the Condemn room. In the Condemn room all of this goes through what is called a prebreaker. The prebraker is a set of two huge rollers with big teeth on them. The stuff goes between these rollers to get broken down to smaller parts and into a blow tank. Once the blow tank is full it is blown through pipes over to an empty cooker tank. In the cooker tank the stuff gets cooked to around 250 degrees F. (I might be wrong on the temp. it has been awhile). Any way once it has all been cooked down it then gets poored out into a drain pan. Once the stuff has been drained of the liquid it gets dumped into an auger which goes to the Expeller. The Expeller squeezes as much of the grease out of it as possible. The more grease that is squeezed out the higher the percentage of protein in what is left. What is left is called Meat and Bone meal. That then goes to Mill and gets ground down to a fine powder. As an Expeller operator it was my job to keep the Expeller operating and dump the pans into the auger. There were 7 cookers all running at the same time. It was a lot of work. The Expeller op position was the first position I had. I signed on to the Cooker Operator and won that. But I couldn't move on to it till I had trained someone to take my place. I went through about 10 or 12 new hires before I found someone willing to stay long enough to learn the job. And that turned out to be someone that had already been working there and signed for the job. A few of the guys that I trained didn't even last one day. One guy just walked in for his first day and turned around and walked out. Another only lasted to the first break. The closest a new hire came to taking my place was one week. He was an older guy that gave it his best, but at the end of the week he shook my hand and said he just couldnt handle it.
  16. I once worked at a meat packing plant. They killed about 7,000 hogs a day. I worked in the Rendering Dept. as an Expeller Operator and also worked as a Cooker Operator. The Expeller Operator was one hardest jobs in there. That is the hardest and worst smelling job I have ever worked. If you are really hard up for work, they are always hiring.
  17. It's great for SCR ceremonies.
  18. What I mean by impact is that there is no one that I financially support. So in that respect my death wouldn't adversely affect any one. I am sure there will be plenty of sad people at my funeral. Although that may not be the case depending on where the funeral would be held. I guess my body would probably be shipped to Illinois, as I am the only member of my family here in Texas. That would probably exclude many of the people here from going to my funeral. I hadn't really put much thought in to it. My mom favors cremation. So I guess I would be creamated here and transported to Illinois. It really doesn't matter to me.
  19. Nope haven't talked to anyone about me dying. I really don't care what happens to me or any of my possesions after I die. I don't have any major assets at all. I have no wife or children. My parents are lucky I even call them once every few months or less. I visit them once a year maybe. The only family member that I am somewhat close to is my brother. I talk to him every couple of weeks. I don't think my death would have much of an impact on very many people.
  20. No what I meant is alot of the history has been written about by other people. The history of Palestine area during the Bitish Mandate, Zionism and their push for a Jewish National Homeland.
  21. I have read a lot of that information else where. My opinion differs from yours.
  22. wow nice one person thread going. Have you convinced your self your right?
