matter? of course those things matter. They matter to the person having the birthday or wedding or whatever. It makes the feel good. Do you not feel important when someone does something nice for you? Like a birthday party? Try never having any birthday parties. EVER

yes the computer that I am referring to is the computer you are connecting to. x is the drive letter being assigned to the mapped drive. You don't have to use x you could use any letter that isn't being used. You shouldn't be able to use A, B, C, or D, but any other letter will most likely be free.

If that doesn't work then try opening a DOS window and typing in net use x: \\computer_name\share_name Then it should ask for user name and password/.

When you map the drive there is a selection for connecting as a different user. Try that. It should allow you to change the user name. Like the other poster said try computer_name\user_name

I really think you are taking this way to seriously. It was good fun and nobody got hurt. If you can't have fun while competing then why bother.

I am not artistic at all. I for one am happy to see VRW being embraced by so many. It's been my goal to compete in VRW ever since I first saw video of it. I would love to see similar participation numbers as regular FS 4 way and added to NSL. I can only imagine what the skill levels will be like in 3 years from now.

Some would say that is also a loss of liberty. By not having the option to be famous or a head of state to avoid any possible security problems.

The quote implys that. I just continued it. But how do you have greater security with out losing some liberty? Just look at those people that are famous or highly important heads of state. Look at the amount of personal liberty they give up for security.

so how do you deal with security threats if you are unwilling to live with any loss of liberty? How do you define liberty? At what point do you see security measures biting into your liberty? What body count is liberty worth versus security?

That's a pretty tall order. Post a picture of your self and you might get better results depending on the picture of course.

yeah but only once. My first rig I bought used and it actually fit very well. Anyway I was used to having to tighten down the legstraps of the student gear all the way down till there was nothing left. So what do I do on my first jump on my brand new to me rig? I tighten those leg straps really tight! The loss of circulation caught up to me under canopy and I got really dizzy and puked. I tried my best to not get any on me. I was really scared that I was going to biff in hard on that landing. ha ha I learned that lesson well. Don't tighten your legs straps too tight. -
yes it is a bad habit. When you start jumping in groups of freefliers it could easily cause injury to yourself or another freeflier. Try immediately pulling your knees to your chest when you feel like you are going out of your sitfly. That will keep your fall rate up.

I would jump it just to see what it would do. But I recomend that you repack it before jumping it. I would keep it stored as is and not unpacked.
