  1. Oh ok, so I am a dumb ass since I happened to have made typo. That speaks to your intelligence.
  2. That's BS. Can you spell intellectual? Proper spelling, punctuation, and sentence formation doesn't just happen. You can't come up with anything better then a comment on my typo?
  3. That doesn't make it any more credible. The quality of the writing has nothing to do with the intelectual content.
  4. Troy Grove / L-P HS Represent! Wow Haven't heard that little town mentioned in a long time. Do you still live in IL?
  5. Just explaining things by saying God made it that way stunts people's intelectual growth. It doesn't allow for questioning or trying to understand the world. In my opinion Religion breeds ignorance.
  6. Just because you don't understand something doesn't mean a supernatural being is responsible.
  7. Science doesn't imply that God doesn't exist. There just isn't any evidence to prove god does or doesn't exist. If there is no evidence of something then why would I believe in it? To point out what we don't understand and say that because we don't fully understand and can't entirely prove everything that science is studying it must be the hand of god is not a very good rationale for proving the existence of god. It just doesn't make any sense.
  8. That is assuming that all the supernatural stuff told in the bible is true. There is no evidence of any of that anywhere outside of stories in the bible.
  9. what happened? did your fingers stop working?? You don't have any response to any of this??
  10. How would you know Satan if you met him?? It could be Loki pretending to be Satan??
  11. The way I see it Odin and the Christian God are equally likely to exist. That also applies to all other imaginary beings.
  12. yeah I have to agree with you. It would be very entertaining.
  13. well considering that he names himself a saint then he must know something everyone else doesn't Right?? Skysaintj: you might want to try doing some more research and try to look at it with an unbiased mind. You also should try looking at the evidence and drawing a conclusion, not drawing a conclusion and looking for the evidence to support it.
  14. Yup I started jumping in Hinckley. I never knew Skydive Chicago was so close by. I just happened to drive through Hinckley one day on my way home from Aurora and saw their sign. That's all it took for me.
  15. I grew up just down the road in Mendota. Da Bears just need to build up some momentum for the playoffs.
  16. I like this one better. http://news.yahoo.com/s/realclearpolitics/20061207/cm_rcp/captain_obvious_to_the_rescue
  17. hey if your gonna jump out of airplanes you might as well look good doing it! Or bad, depending on your choice in colors and who is looking.
  18. I do recall him getting some good footage of keg stands. So if you were participating the keg stands there maybe video evidence.
  19. you mean you don't remember stumbling around with your camcorder???! I am sure the video is very interesting.
  20. I am feeling all warm and fuzzy now. You shouldn't. It was having stuff like this rammed down my throat from age 5 to 18 that convinced me that religion in general (and Christianity in particular) is not only silly, but actually harmful. I can relate to that. My mother is a Jehovah's Witness. Imagine that childhood.
  21. Battlestar Galactica is by far the best tv show on right now.
  22. The biggest problem is there are so many versions of god. It seems to me that each and every person that believes in god has their own version of god. Every Christian that I have ever talked to has there own view of god and they attribute all kinds of things to god. Some say does this other say he does that. There is no consensus on any thing. The more Christians you talk to the more I am convinced that it is all in their imaginations and how they interpret their bible. The biggest example of this is Pajarito and Steverino. They are both Christians but have very different concepts of God.
