i know you said about 10, but it isn't actually more like 14, i know some people that had their 12 years go up, and it seamed like it was a while ago. maybe i'm wrong, but it's at least 12. but still, your point being it is considered "old technology" i was just trying to re-enforce it later
-
i got the same e-mail did you get the other one though. that was saying sorry for it?? edit: sorry, i missed the one post. later

i've got everything that you listed on the poll. but the extra audible just sits in the bag. i use my protrack, and have they prodytter sitting on the ground, no room for it in my mindwarp. later

skygod7777 replied to Viking's topic in Swooping and Canopy Control
i was talking to andy (that works for big air) and he said you can order one right now, but it's like 2000 ot 2100. later -
how far do you live from the DZ?
skygod7777 replied to bunge's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
damn dude. that's a hell of a way to drive. there has to be a dz closer to where you are, right. later -
i usually have someone check my reserve pin, and main pin (even though i can check the main myself, just by reaching behind, i do this ontop of someone else checking). i'm not sure why, i just do, it was taught to me by my dad, he does it, and so do i. now, i only have someone i know check it, i don't want some random person doing it. at the beginning of the day, i do a full gear check. before every jump, i look my pull out over, and glance at everything else. in the plane, i am always trying to look at everyone gear, just to make sure everyone is in (ie, i look at chest straps, leg straps, if i can see the back of the rig, i try to make sure everything is close up tight, like make sure it doesn't look like it's about ready to fly open, like a flap. i check bridle, just by looking, making sure it's not looped out or what ever. and just other little things. that you can see when the rig is closed, with out having to put your hands on it) i am very safety orinanted. i just hate to have friends go in, or get hurt. it really really sucks. later

it may not be the smartest thing to do, but it's still fun i've done a few 2 stacks with fx's (84 and my buddy under a 89). and did a 3 stack once with me under my 84, my buddy under his 89, and my other friend under his crossfire 109, that was crazy, flying supter slow to dock on the 109 later

so, where's the video?? it didn't happen unless there's video did you guys do it with your regular sport canopy's, or did you get bigger canopy's to do it with? later
-
did the other guy (your friend) have the same problems with the canopy?? how many jumps are on the canopy?? i could be out of trim. i haven't heard this but a couple times before. i have had 3 heatwaves of my own, and have jumped many (like 10 different ones) and they all opened super soft. i would say check the trim of the canopy, and i bet you'll find it's out of trim. later

ok, that makes sense then. it seamed really odd to have a good position if you where still learning to sit (you just don't see that too often) later
-
dude, just push your feet down a bit, and you'll have the sit down. you have a really good body position, just need to rotate it to being vertical
-
not to sure when they where stated, but they haven't finished. you can still buy a racer today. later

Whats your Name and what do you do for a living?
skygod7777 replied to Viking's topic in The Bonfire
nope, wasn't me. never done that one. swooped next to a fence with my hand able to drag on the chain, but i never hit it later -
it sounds like you got a little bit of the "ground goblin" (that is what my dad calls it when people stop jumping, or are very nervous). i would say you just need to get in the air and jump, if you want to. if you get up there, you'll see it's a lot of fun, and the "ground goblin" will go away. i had it for a long time, and i just kept on jumping, and it went away. but, if you are only jumping because your dad wants you to, and not because you want to, that isn't a good reason to jump. and if you feel this way, your dad should understand. later

well, i'll look around, and see if i can find one laying around. but i'll go without the hug i'll PM you if i find anything. later

Riggers? How often do you change the reserve closing loop.
skygod7777 replied to okalb's topic in Gear and Rigging
i change customers loops ever re-pack. i change my personal one, like every 3rd probably later -
i would say talk to the other packers on the dz. find out if there is a need for another packer. i mean, if there are too many, then no one makes any money. and if you just jump in with out talking to the other packers, your steping on there toes pretty much. they have been there longer, it's their turf your steping on
-
ya, most feds inturpret it as a rigger must be on the field for questions if needed later

how far do you live from the DZ?
skygod7777 replied to bunge's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
i'm not sure which to pick. i "live" like 5 or 6 miles away from the dz, but i stay at the dz 4 or 5 days out of the week. and in the summer, i may come visit home for a day or so. so, which on
