Your pirate name is: Bloody Harry Rackham Every pirate lives for something different. For some, it's the open sea. For others (the masochists), it's the food. For you, it's definitely the fighting. You have the good fortune of having a good name, since Rackham (pronounced RACKem, not rack-ham) is one of the coolest sounding surnames for a pirate. Arr! well, i guess i'm a fighter. i guess i really do learn somthing every day. later

Should I print out the Vector 3 manual at work?
skygod7777 replied to Jessica's topic in The Bonfire
sure, as long as you won't get fired or something crazy like that later -
well, so far it's been all talk. we have no money really to put into building it. i know we could make one that would at least fly (maybe not well enough to land, but it would fly), it's just we have no extra cash, or time right now with school, to do it. but by the end of this summer, i will have a canopy that i build *or my friends and i build if they help, which i'm sure they will*. later

her, i didn't clarify that. and i did tell her that it was really fucked up, and that i was really pissed. but as to the walking out, it was about time to go to the next period anyway. later

well, i had always wanted to ever since i can remember (i grew up at a dz). and i had been asking for a year or so, and we had a guy lined up to take me on a tandem (i was only 7), and then he died in a airplane crash. but then a good friend of my dad's decided he would take me. and sure enough, on mothers day i made my first skydive at 7 years old. now, when i started going by myself was at 11. i had been asking for about a year again, and it was always on parent sending me to the other for them to say no. well, one day, i sat down next to my mom, and said "hey, you going to let me jump today", and she just sat there for a miniute, looking off into space (and i'm thinking that i was about to hear no, or go ask you father, and that would always be no) and then just says "sure, go tell you dad i said you could". and when i did, he had to go talk to her, he didn't even believe me (hehe, i had tried this once or twice

the reason for these risers was they where supposed to be "stronger" because they didn't have a gromet cut out in the riser. it was all a gimmick. the place where the risers where breaking was at the bottom, where the middle ring is. the way they fixed that was putting a piece of nylon tape in there. are they harder to cut away?? well, my dad has had many (like 5 or 6) on his crossfire with risers like that, and had no problems. the difference is pressure is like from 5 pounds to like 7. not a big deal. i had some, i got regular risers, i think the rings kinda look cool on a rig, maybe i'm just weird though later

ok, i wasn't too sure if i should post this in gear, or here, and i decided here would be better. but, my question is, for those of you that have a smaller reserve than your main, i just want to know why?? i personally don't see any reason for it. it always made sense to me to have a larger reserve than you main, i mean it is you last chance. so, for those who have this, why?? thanks
-
dude, that sucks..............man, u got to feel dumb. later
-
i would say lengthen them, but when you send it back, make sure they are back at the original setting. later

no, when the V3's first came out (not the micron, the first V3's), they had some problems. but now they have solid riser covers. now, are they a pain because of the secondary riser covers, can be, but i say that about the infinity, and mirage. i just don't care for the secondary riser covers. but that's just me. if it where me, out of that pick of rigs, i'd get the G3. very solid rigs. later

i really like wolves. and since i have one, i better like her later

stilleto's have a short recovery arc compaired to most canopies. the reason it seamed a lot longer is A: it's a smaller canopy than what your used to, and B: it is possible the impulse has a VERY short recovery arc (compared to a stilleto). i have never jumped a impulse, so i couldn't tell ya. but i have jumped one stilleto a few times, like a 120 or 107 or something. and it was very short compared to a crossbrace, or crossfire. later
