I did a search and it appears this has not been discussed in a while. I'm curious what people think about the rating now compared to thoughts on it in 2001? Should it have higher requirements? I hate to agree with VB But the Advance Seven from Basik is certainly one of the best FF rigs out there Oh we can get them but I would rather have my Vector! guess what i got! oh, and james, STFU! I would have never been able to guess that with the gigantic sticker on your helmet only got it on special request, AND some more goodies! UPT fucking ROCKS!!! I 2nd that! I think I'm going to order another rig so I can have 2 set up the same. Maybe I should ask for goodies? What you are speaking about is parts replacement for items that go, or are going bad. And I agree that conditions can cause this, but the reason for my comment was information I received the other day during a discussion about this very subject. Without naming names, a highly qualified source who was directly involved with the testing and certification told me that if it calibrates and the batteries are good, it will work as designed. I have talked to Cliff in detail about this whole argument and the check is a good thing. It is NOT a money making scheme. FYI Cliff owns SSK and his son is a very good friend of mine. Everything I have been told makes great sense and I do trust his knowledge and I respect him a great deal. I know.... it is pretty amazing. That kid is a tank with insane speed. He has a bright future ahead of him. Alamaba's O line is nasty too so that obviously helps. Oh yeah, the O line was the big surprise of the season. They had to shuffle the line after losing three starters, but they made it work out well. It's even better as a unit overall than last year's line, which had 3 outstanding players and 2 mediocre ones. All Alabama has to do now is re-load every year.

True........ but this goes to show why I say it's becoming more of a conventional wisdom award and not the best athlete award. Here is what I mean. Gerhart had the numbers but because of Stanford's record, voting associated him with losing. Ingram's numbers weren't the best but I believe that even though Auburn put the brakes on him, Florida gave the SEC game away but not showing up mentally. Therefore, people remember the most recent situations and thus, he was awarded the Heisman. McCoy certainly did a lot for Texas and I think his numbers and acomplishments got Texas to the BCS in large part. However, once again the most recent game against Nebraska and because of how it ended I think killed his Heisman. I agree with all of that but at the same time if Suh did not get it I thought Ingram should get it. McCoy although he had solid numbers he just doesn't do it for me when I watch him play. He does not make me say "wow that kid is amazing". Tebow doesn't come close to that either for me. Gerhart, Ingram, and Suh do but I saw Ingram a lot less because of split time and when he was on the field 95% of the time I was in aw. Suh is just dominate so I was pulling for him but didn't think he was going to win. With all that being said I think this was the year a D player shoudl have won. Woodson although great did not deserve the Heisman over my boy Peyton. This year they got it wrong again... Suh really should have won.
