http://www.paragear.com/templates/parachutes.asp?group=245&parent=34&level=2 What you are looking for is on that page somewhere but they are QUITE expensive. Might I suggest digging around the other pages to see if you find something cheaper that is just as well suited.

Finally understand why i don't like The Eagles
skittles_of_SDC replied to jjiimmyyt's topic in The Bonfire
I don't like them because they picked up Terrell Owens for awhile. -
Indeed.
-
Eh, the article I read, think it may have been in this thread, said Pastrana only had an A license and about 100 jumps. That's what worries me not only did he pull it off but he only had about 100 jumps. I'm sure there are some jumpers out there with the superman mentality that think they can do it at 100 jumps because Pastrana did.
-
Maybe they don't, maybe in a way they do
-
I see what you are saying but at the same time I fail to see how parachuteless jumps contribute to the evolution in skydiving.
-
It was definitely reckless for them to do it. Racing cars is not nearly comparable to jumping without a parachute its more like just plain skydiving. Your analogies are bust. Try again. So because I try to be safe and not kill myself and others like you seem to want to do I'm a pussy? Edit to add: I recked my car doing 100 on a rural road. I'm not afraid of shit. The reason I try to be as safe as possible is because it's dangerous enough without doing retarded shit. To quote my FJC instructor 'You can do everything right and still die.' So why the fuck would I want to do something that is blatantly dangerous and reckless? You know what, you have almost 100 jumps go do it if you wanna do it. Maybe then we wont have to read your posts anymore.
-
Yeah, cause in the end thats what skydiving is all about, looking awesome and appearing brave to impress everyone. And thats the problem. The fact that you don't see a problem. You seem to have a very reckless attitude toward skydiving. Honestly, if you are going to continue to think the way you do, you should probably quit skydiving. Seriously. I'd really like to see a citation on this little gem of knowledge that you just dropped on us. Final thought: Your posts make my head hurt.
-
Hi pott, meet kettle... Really? Link me to one of my posts where I talk about doing something ridiculously unsafe... otherwise sit down and shut up.
-
It goes hand in hand with the threads started by 16 yr olds wanting to jump. I almost started a thread last night after reading this one entitled, "Is 18 old enough?".
-
What's with all the young, low time jumpers wanting to do retarded shit?

Skydiving Movie Proposal (First Draft)
skittles_of_SDC replied to downplay's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
That's brilliant Nick. A skydiving themed porno. Anyone have Nicole Sheridan's phone number? -
As of right now it doesn't look like it. But I'd venture to say that it may show up here sometime. Edited to add: They just put out the press release about the ad's on Nov 20th so maybe they will get the tv spots on the website soon.

which one? the whispering or working the sack? BTW I misspoke I meant to say cup the ball sack.
-
My girls are usually too busy screaming in ecstasy to talk dirty. I'm pretty sure even if I tried she wouldn't let me record it.
-
Spoken like a true gentlemen! And don't forget to run video. Skittles would ike that. What kind of tip was I supposed to give her? Whisper sweet nothings into his ear? By which you mean you would like that, right? That reminds me I forgot to video it again. I didn't go for quite 3 hours last weekend. Only like 2 and a half. Next time, I promise (and yes I'm going to keep bragging about it until I get too old to have that kind of stamina).
-
just saw it...finally... in all its HD glory.
-
work the ball sack.
-
So wait. It wasn't supposed to be for you? It sounds like it was, except that you said it was misrouted. I don't get it. [confused]

Anybody else think it would be cool?
skittles_of_SDC replied to skittles_of_SDC's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
Watching the Thanksgiving day parade made me think it would be cool to float an airplane balloon at the thanksgiving day parade at like 3000 feet and have a bunch of people jump off of it. Maybe if I ever become rich. [sigh] -

Even most of the flights out of Chicago-O'Hare aren't non-stop. Look for some that stop somewhere on the way, rather than taking you way out of the way like some I've seen. If you can find one that connects in Charlotte, Atlanta, Miami or some place in the south east like that it would probably be best.

Im new and need equipment advice
skittles_of_SDC replied to sunburnedbuns's topic in Gear and Rigging
If you wanna go balls out get an Alti-track. They are expensive but they have the advantage of having most of the benefits of a digital altimeter but have an analog face. I love having the analog face yet the logging abilities of a digital. Hold off on everything else, except the closing pin necklace. The open face vs. full face helmet will probably depend on whether you want to continue belly flying after AFF or if you want to get into freeflying. Jump suit will depend on the same thing. Container and canopy you really need to talk to your instructors about. -
oh this is good. His submission video. skip right to about 2:00 mins. for those of you that don't want to take the time to watch it here is a little gem from the end of his video. Do we really want someone like that to stay in the sport?

I may disagree with your point of view on this. But that, sir, was funny.
