I'm wondering if you have to hit just right. I got in an accident where I slammed a guard rail and I must have still been doing at least 50-60mph and my airbags didn't go off. But I hit it at an angle. Luckily I was ok. My friend got in an accident in his car and his dad works for chrysler and his dad said the airbags should have gone off since we were going over 20mph. So I assumed it was somewhere around 20mph. he hit off center too. just the right front side. pic of my accident attached for fun.

You mean after 200 jumps right? neeh..thats not trying to get into an arguement..thats just trying to be cool..but I sadly ran out of you rebel you! stickers a long time ago.. I only mention that because, idk if you followed this guys posts at all, but if you encourage him to wingsuit he'll probably do a parachuteless jump where he stands on a tandems back then jumps off and wingsuits away.

Forget that last part. This skills camp gets the 'Skittles Seal of Approval' (they are actually pretty hard to get).

I was watching the Bears game with my old man. Bears are no longer at the top of the division. not the best quality but it'll give you the idea. The commercial edited to add: it looks much better in hd or even sd. these commercials show up on USA Network a lot.

I was watching a show I recorded on my DVR and that commercial is on it. If I ever stop being lazy I'll break out the video camera and record it. (I dont think you can get high quality video off the DVR I have.)

Skydiving and fitness level

Tandem toggles do seem to be a little stiff. I rode as a passenger not too long ago for a friend getting his tandem rating after doing around 120some solo jumps and the toggles seemed like they took more muscle than a normal canopy. That said the type of canopy also seems to make a difference. Sabre2's seem to take more toggle pressure than a safire2. After going though the course with a sabre2 I started renting and the gear shop has all Icaruses and they flare more smoothly and take less pressure to get to the 3 position. -

You want to start on a student suit. Steveorino didn't. Steveorino has nearly 2000 jumps before he put on a wingsuit, and is jumping a suit that he can handle while deciding on which flocking/bigger suit he wants. You're both in different classes....But yes...your body size *can* play a role in what suit you choose, depending on what you want accomplish in a wingsuit. If you want to flock, that's one suit. If you want speed/distance, that may be another suit. Maybe you can learn to fly one suit for both. If you're really coming to Sebastian, there will be lots of suits for you to play with there, and a bunch of instructors that can help you figure it out. Ok, thanks. I will be at Sebastian. I was wondering about this. But didn't wanna ask because last time I got torn to pieces for not having enough jumps. If someone is a big guy should that play a factor in what suit is chosen? Even if they are only a beginner? Right now im using the smallest wing we have for demo at my DZ.
