  1. That would make it like a V354-V355? I just got back from a trip with mine a V353 (sabre2 210 and PD 193) and it barely fit in the hard suitcase i had for carry on. A lot of people on here recommend a duffel or gear bag because it is soft and can be squished to size. I think that would be a good choice for you. I have magnetic riser covers as well. No one said anything about them to me and getting through security was a breeze.
  2. 88 into chicago and 355 to the suburbs are both 55 mph. so while your math is correct your numbers are not.
  3. IL highway speed limit + 15 MPH= Florida highway speed limit. So idk about that point. I was doing about 5 over and there were cops speeding more than me.
  4. There are some, PA I think is 1. However, the whole point of a radar detector is that you don't get pulled-over to begin with. My only advice is go out & spend the $400-$500 on a good 1; something that will jam the cops radar gun - not just detect it & warn you. Choppers though, that'll still be a problem... Those are illegal. In every state as far as I know. I think that it is a federal regulation that radar detectors 'cannot interfere with the operation of a radar gun.' (paraphrasing of course)
  5. Now, back on topic. Thanks for the replies everyone. Sounds like I really have to watch it.
  6. With that there was an animal and it was dark. I was also somewhere between 50-60 on a road with a speed limit of 55. (yeah some of our rural roads have just as high a speed limit as the highway )
  7. Here in IL a lot of the the highways have a speed limit of 55. 55+20=75 55+30=85 (not 100). Around here 75-80 seems to be the normal flow of traffic. Even the slow lane does at least 65. Sorry, I thought I put all this in my first post.
  8. How strict are they on speeding? I assume they aren't jerks that will give me a ticket for going 5 over. But like on the highways (not knowing the speed limit) what can I get away with? 15 over? 20 over? maybe 30?
  9. DanG is right. So I'll end it here, with one piece of advice they wont teach you in any coach course. Dude relax, you'll live longer.
  10. Is that a PA? I think that's a PA. *yells* Mooooooooood's he's making PA's! The funny thing is you are giving me advice even though you have the same amount of time in the sport and less jumps. I think I see a pattern. P.S I know a good anger management therapist. I can give you his number if you'd like.
  11. We've finally reached the sample size I was hoping for. So only about 33% carry on loose. Thanks for participating, and for all the replies to the thread.
  12. sure they do. You know who I am. case closed.
  13. People who turn out in front of you on a 1 lane road with a high speed limit and don't go as fast as you were going. If you arent going to go as fast as me pull out after me you fuckers.
  14. As you can see he obviously did. Especially mine for some reason. He even tried to insult me. The words 'mad skillz' seem to induce anger in anyone.
  15. Is that irony or hypocrisy or even a little bit of both. I always forget. Actually I'm kinda a big deal at my DZ, bet you can't say the same. Oh and I didn't realize we jumped together. Refresh my memory on what I did wrong on our jump that makes you say I have no skill. Or if I'm right and we didn't jump together sit down and STFU...after you clean the sand out of your vajay-jay of course.
  16. hmm, idk if i have that kind of dedication. maybe i'll just get a hamster or guinea pig.
  17. I'm pretty sure the only version of the hills they are watching is the one where they get about 5 points before they are off it
  18. Mandrin=pure awesomeness. I'm going to do my best to be there. I wanna learn from Mandrin. Then again, doesn't everyone?
  19. WTF was that little comment? I meant because 25,000 is such a high number.
  20. Well to be fair if someone had never heard the name kirk verner they might think that the 25,000 was a straight up lie.
