    When you say open do you mean they don't have that extra little flap that usually tucks around and underneath the bottom of the container? I'm trying to picture what it looks like.

    I know DSE has mentioned it once or twice about his voodoo. I also saw a wingsuit option on the mirage price list. So the question is, what is it? and what does it do for you? It's too late for me now because I just got my brand new Vector III but it'd be nice to know for future reference.

    Maybe I should buy it cash then. Nah...cash withdrawals on credit cards have higher interest rates than purchases. And maybe the reason Citi approved another card is they're bumping your interest rate like they did to a ton of other customers in the last few weeks? Blues, Dave It wouldn't be a cash advance. This is going to sound just as bad but I would be using some of the cash that would have payed off part of the credit card. Granted that money was already designated for the wingsuit and I was just going to use the credit card so I could get points. Well I was approved for the card but iirc from the last card I got, after reviewing the terms I can still send the card back and choose not to use it if i dont like the terms.

    I plan to. The main thing that got me so deep in is all of the once in a while gear purchases. Once I get a wingsuit I have all the gear I'll need for awhile and should have plenty of time to start paying down my cards.

    This thread caused me to have a dream where I almost bounced last night. I hope and kind of know I wouldn't do things the same in real life as I did in the dream. Scared me just the same though.

    Well I'm using the new one for emergencies only. Trips for skydiving and jump tickets count as an emergency though. I usually pay off a nice chunk of the first one each billing cycle though which is what I'm doing for this trip and hoping to not have to break out the new card, if I even get it on time. and I am a dumb bastard, just not a crazy one.

    at Citi cards just approved me for another credit card. A day before they sent out a statement where I was $100 bucks over my limit. They must be in the holiday spirit. If you need another card now is probably the time to apply.

    YAY! Bubbles finally joined the club! I love mine! Two more piercings to go (left nipple and belly) and I will have all that I want.... I think we need to turn this into a post your piercing thread...wherever those piercings may be.

    That looks a lot like the canopy I jumped there a month or so back...If it is, I'd say 200 jumps would be on the high side unless someone has been really using it lot since I did. I would venture to say it was not a manufacturing problem in regard to the failure type, again....if it's the same one I used, S.C. rigger Tracy and I went over it extensively post deployment because I wanted to compare the cell design, stitch per inch and line attachments to my new, similar size flag jumpin' canopy made by another company. It would be similar to the canopy you jumped but I blew this thing up in July. However, most of their canopies are the same colors. So I'd say you may have been jumping the 189? I never added this to the discussion back when it happened because I had forgotten about it but 2 safire2s blew up in as many weeks. The week after it happened to me, another guy who is all belly, blew out a cell on his safire2.
