    Can't. I can't do anything that involves weight bearing on the right leg for at least another 5 weeks.

    Now how the heck did that happen? out for 6 weeks at the very least. I live in IL though so I should be good when the weather is jumpable. As far as how it happened its a long story but I'll keep it short. I surged into some concrete as I was trying to avoid and obstacle on landing.

    The better part of the story of my first jump of 2009 is I fractured my tib-fib. New Years day. No orthopedic surgeon was willing to work on me that day.

    Just wondering. I was gonna use the fresh staples and shit to hit on my nurse in the ER today but she had a massive rock on her finger and I thought it would be in bad taste. All that is beside the point. I will reiterate the question. Do chicks truly dig scars?

    sorry, i've been high since i woke up today. i didnt even think to search. I missed the memo; How did you get damaged? short version? hard landing on concrete. broken tib-fib. Ouch! Tib/fibs are not fun! As far as the pain pills- you do need to manage your pain. It is an important part of the healing process and really, if you are taking them for pain, as prescribed, the risk of addiction for most people is minimal. I think the "blockage" that goes along with them might be a bigger concern at the moment. And do you really need to hide them from your brother or was that a joke? I hope you were kidding. nope, not a joke. he told me straight up, 'hide them from me. i try, but im just getting over them.' he had a problem for awhile. just recently. said he tried breaking his hand with a rock to get a prescription for more.

    And be sure to eat your fiber (and if needed take laxitives). Narcs will seriously stop you up if arent carefull (happened to me after dental surgery).

    Guess who else sees those commercials? People who are out at work? They are people like you who are injured and looking to blame someone (often legitimately). They are also people with nothign else to do but sit around, watch television, and have nothing to lose by filing a suit. I frankly am ashamed at ads like that. Thats what I'm trying to get at. The way the ads are worded though they aren't directed toward people that got injured at work. Sure some of them will call, but the ones I saw today they were just like 'have you had a fall?' which makes it seem like if you fell while you were on somebody's property they will sue for you. maybe thats not how its meant to sound and wouldnt be that way if i call but thats how it comes across.

    Nope . . . My first Dublin, I was at the final table next to you, it started there, and then the little crush came about after all the painting happened . . . it's just a little crush, though. It's not one of those, "Don't go to sleep because I'm outside your window with night vision goggles" kinda crush. from what i've heard that is a little crush to you.

    DISCLAIMER: I'm high on pain killers so there is a good chance this makes no sense. I'm sitting around watching TV with my busted tib-fib and happen to see 2 commericals in a row that say 'call if you were injured we may be able to get you money.' It's my fault I'm broken, I know it's my fault and I'm not going to try to hold others responsible for my mistakes. But how many people out there will see those commercials knowing that what they did to injure themselves is their fault and still try to sue? It's ridiculous.

    I think this weekend I'm going to sit around watching tv with my leg elevated. actually i think i'll be doing that for the next 3 weekends. Oh yeah, and I get to do it high.
