What are you claiming the attic box was built and used for ? If its use cant be determined then of what possible importance is it to the DB Cooper case!?

What is Blevins claiming the attic box was for!!!!! ?????
-
No I didn't. I don't know where you get this stuff. Rattling off junk like that shows only that you will grab any piece of BS that rolls off the top of your head, in an effort to discredit. In reality, it just makes you look bad. That's an opinion. Hopefully, that response met your brevity requirements. OK. What are you claiming this attic hole box thing built from counter top wood was for?
-
Shutter what is your understanding of what Blevins is claiming the attic box was built for ? To hold the Cooper money? To hold photos of boys? To hold Kenny's stamp and coin collection? ... what is Blevins claim w. respect to his secret attic box thingy?
-
Hogwash. I never said any such thing. Besides, it was the Decoded crew who first discovered the board/box assembly, not me. LOL don't you think they would have said something if they had found money in it? Your quote is false about my saying there was money found. The reason is obvious, which I already stated above. Your images were ignored, along with your added comments. You mean, in this shit, is the reason ? Where? What? How about just stating it in 50 words or less? Or a solipsism? Just remind us Blevins - what do you claim the attic secret box was constructed for, to hold? That is germane to the DB Cooper case and your client Lyle Christiensen. Condoms? Well, the ring is round, the white part, the part you remove, the red part...I don't know, maybe square I think. This is moot. I didn't pay much attention to THAT. I was interested in seeing the board. No hinge on it. I have said that. I also said it is impossible to make any definite conclusions about it. You have this old piece of countertop. It's white, it is NOT new. It's obviously a piece of scrap from an old countertop. It's been used. The wood is OLD. Witness Helen Jones has testified that KC pulled his old countertops soon after moving into the Bonney Lake house and replaced them. A picture from 1992 shows Robin Powell standing in the kitchen in front of a set of white countertops. Due to the age of the board, which an expert told me was from the 60's or early 70's, the obvious conclusion is that the board shown in the pictures is from the installation that was IN PLACE when KC moved into the home. In other words, it is PROBABLY a piece of scrap from when he pulled the old countertops. And he replaced the old stuff with new countertops of a similar color. White. But...even though I can establish the approximate age of the board, there is no telling for absolute certain who installed it. Maybe the scrap hung around the house for years and it was nailed in place in the attic after KC's death, for one reason or another. But unless you believe the original scrap from that countertop remodel stayed unused for decades, the obvious conclusion is also the simplest: That KC cut the board from a piece of the scrap he pulled, cut two additional two-by's just long enough to fit between two joists, went up into the attic, nailed the two-bys in place, laid the old countertop piece on top of this to form a sort of box, and tapped in a couple of small nails into the corners. The stains on the front and back sides of the board are from wood stain. I took a better look at them today. The wood stain seems to match the color of the kitchen cabinets in the picture of Robin Powell. Conclusion: KC probably refinished the cabinets at the same time he replaced the countertops, and some stain went onto the scrap piece while he was working in the kitchen. Later, he probably grabbed one of the bigger pieces of this scrap countertop and constructed the box in his attic. Why? No one knows. It was located just above what used to be his bedroom. All the pictures were taken in my office this morning, except the one of Robin Powell, of course. For someone who thinks we should suspend KC discussions, (I am one of them, at least for now) you sure ask a lot of questions that regard him, either directly or indirectly...Wink (Note: Some edits were made on the notations to the pictures. When I first took the photos early this morning, I went back and examined the staining again on the front and back side of the board. It's definitely from wood stain.)

Have snipped your BS. You claim there was money in the hole. You claimed this in 2010! It is now Jan 2014! Have you found a method for proving there was 'money in the hole' ... in the last four years! Why have you not found a method for proving there was money in the hole? How would a three year old approach this problemo you can't solve? Maybe you should turn to Tom Kaye and see what he thinks!? Play it again and again and again Sam. Time to call 'Bob'!

Check out the comments about Ted, here: http://www.basejumper.com/cgi-bin/forum/gforum.cgi?do=post_editlog;post=2947929;guest=21547535 also - http://www.spokesman.com/stories/1995/may/19/man-sentenced-in-deaths-of-two-parachuters-former/ Ted was 59 the day he was sentenced in 1995, born 1936, which makes him '35' in 1971. There is a ton of material about Ted on the internet.

Jo of Weber4UbyJo@HOMES.com: "Have you ever heard the saying - 'less is more'."

I scrub floors for a living. Trust me, I'm not that important. I never offered Washington State History Museum my services as a 'celebrity author,' either. Where do you get this stuff? Or do you just make it up off the top of your head? We had some contact because they wanted to order copies of Blast for the Gift Shop. I directed them to Ingram. They established an account and ordered what they needed. I had no intention of being involved or speaking at the symposium. Especially over Thanksgiving weekend. My mother in law and other family members spent the week at my house.

What ever became of the Night Clerk Jo? 377 He sent me an email several months ago that he was coming to the states but if he did I have not heard from him. He may be having more issues as you know before he came to the states for surgery to have a kidney removed because of cancer - that is when the FBI finally went to see him while he was on pain medications from the surgery. YEA, great timing on the part of CKRET - Agent CARR who had to be shamed on this thread in going to see the man. Jo your cynical attitude has always been noted. Built a whole career in the DB Cooper case complete with public notoriety out of ..... what? Nothing? Claims? No evidence!? Your cynical attitude that people are dumber than stumps and suckers has been confirmed, apparently. CONGRATS! [never mind the old sick lady with a call book in her hand!]

When Lee Dormuth or his wife ask for an apology I will give it due consideration. As for your accusation that the Dormuths clammed up because of my alleged bad behavior, what's your proof? What interviews were they giving to journalists before I knocked on their door and then wrote about Lee's need for dental care? Rather, I think you perceived a weak spot in my public standing and then took advantage to deliver a cheap shot. Members of the Dormuth family saw your article. If you had played fair with them and been polite, maybe they would have seen you again. How the hell do you think I got six interviews with Margie Geestman? One time I even brought treats for her dog. Another time I helped tidy up her place while we talked. You asked for proof. I don't know if this serves for proof, but right after your article appeared, I sent them a copy of the Blast book, a nice cover letter, and sixteen pictures. Then a few days later, I called them. They said they were no longer discussing anything about the Cooper case. Since you were the last one to speak to them about it, I take that as a sign. You need to change your methods when attempting difficult interviews. That's just an opinion. I still think your book is good, and you are a major contributor to investigating the case. But sometimes you have to go easy on people, make them feel comfortable, in order to get them to open up to you. You have to establish trust, and yes...get them to like you if you can. It's the results that matter, and you have to do what's best to get those results. You can't just go off in a pique and publish crap because they wouldn't give you what you wanted. If you had been nice to them, you might have established yourself a direct pipeline to Mucklow. You chose another route. Is Bruce also to blame for you being rejected by other people you tried to interview but were refused by ... and the WSHM who rejected your offer to serve as a "Celebrity Author" socalled expert in the Cooper case! Blevins you are such a con artist. When are you going to stop pretending to be - important.

Maybe Jo 'perceived a weak spot in the DB Cooper case and then took advantage to deliver a cheap shot, to advertise her newly formed HOMES4UBYJO Realty business.? This lady who says she has no internet saavy, then goes public, on the internet! selling houses?! And a Cooper story about Duane ? Launched together. Like peas in a pod. Instant stardom.

Asked and answered. Let me get this straight...YOU are advising me to 'post on topic'? Uh, okay. Sure. I will remind you of this the next time you quote over the lyrics to a Biblical hymn as a response to a post... Funny you should say this now since you previously said you knew all about him! (years ago!)

True enough. But then those particular parachutes did not COME from Cossey, did they? They were sent by the actual owner...Norman Hayden, via cab driver. Maybe someone should ask him about it. He would probably remember where the pull was located and whether the pull was right or left. I'm going to guess that the pull on chute-not-found-yet was probably identical to the one given to the WSHM, but that's strictly a guess. Only this: They weren't Cossey's. They were Hayden's and it was Hayden who even arranged the delivery. I have to remind people of this small fact occasionally. That's all. why! ? its off the topic R99 was addressing? Got any opins on the Jimmy Bob Jones ministry?

What does Hayden and Cossey chutes have to do with Mayfield and pulls on Mayfield's chutes ... or other WWII chutes? Please post on topic?

On the reverse side, Cooper might have known or heard of Ted ? Drew inspiration from him? [quite obviously Duane did! ]

Teddy Mayfield obviouly wasnt the jumper but the crime sure fits. He was a convicted ARMED ROBBER. That's a long way from picking pockets and stealing Kool Aid as far as big crime goes. From Sluggos site: Court records in Oregon show Mayfield has various convictions, including an armed robbery just prior to the D. B. Cooper heist, transportation of a stolen plane across state lines, and Criminal Negligent Homicide, for which he served 5 months in prison. Mayfield states that he has over 50 years experience flying airplanes, is a former member of the U.S. Army Special Forces from 1961-63, and has completed over 8,000 skydiving jumps. 377 As I recall, from the Myers-Dvorak roast of Teddy, Ted's crimes weren't as severe or hardened, as the labels imply. He said himself he had poor legal representation, and even poorer judgement at the time each of his socalled 'crimes' occurred. If I recall this correctly, the Criminal Negligent Homicide conviction for which he served actual time, was a negligence charge after the fact... after one of Ted's students or a client at his sky diving school, plunged to his death in a chute Teddy had packed, or failed to check ... or something like that. It was a criminal negligence charge vs. an overt criminal act on Ted's part. It apparently hit Teddy hard at the time resulting in his school being closed... and him serving time. Years later he was a successful Mayor of his community etc. Ted's life (and deeds) do not add up to the wholesale hardened criminal type Myers and Dvorak were contending ... not by a long shot. And part of his history was ordinary bad luck. He was also pretty high profile in the Portland area as far as publicity and his parachute club, etc. in the mid 60s to early 70s. Lots of hits on him in sky diving competitions, meets, shows, clubs. Also multiple hits on close calls and ending up in the hospital and/or injuries. Crashing and landing in power lines and such. Got in trouble with FAA later years over pilot license and not following the rules. I think he kinda sorta lied about getting clearance. I'd have to look at dates but I think his school had like 13 deaths in 22 years of operation. I don't know - that seems like a lot to me and smacks of playing real loose with the ol safety rules - but my frame of reference is that one is probably too many

Jo, I think Ted Mayfield was a suspect while the skyjack was in progress. He was a bad boy national champion skydiver, pilot, convicted felon, armed robber, ex special forces, local... Anybody who knew Teddy would likely suspect him. 377 So here's Mayfield at a "tracking" competition. From Oregonian November 26, 1965. He says they would "dive straight down from 10,500 feet to terminal velocity of about 220 miles per hour. Then tuck forward into a bent over position as if about to go off a diving board. This creates an airfoil like the wing of an airplane with reduced differential pressure on your back which shoots you forward at up to 90 miles an hour". He and a partner tracked in opposite directions about a 2 miles in 55 seconds while falling about 200 mules an hour with smoke coming out of their heels

Because Gayla and I pass out the snacks, show the evening films, deliver the books from the book drive, and have the keys to the theater. It's not a secret to everyone. Just people like YOU. People with nothing positive to say on practically everything. Since when and under what pretenses, have you been peddling yourself as a (sit down for this!): CELEBRITY AUTHOR! What, in your opinion, makes you a - CELEBRITY AUTHOR? Tell us, oh Great Chiam, who have you been trying to peddle your services to, as a - CELEBRITY AUTHOR! And what, exactly, are you the CELEBRITY AUTHOR of!? ARE THERE ANY 'CELEBRITY AUTHORS' IN THE HOUSE ? WILL A CELEBRITY AUTHOR PLEASE STAND UP!? WILL ALL THE CELEBRITY AUTHORS PLEASE SIT DOWN! ? WILL ALL THE STUPID PEOPLE WHO THINK THEY ARE CELEBRITY AUTHORS TRYING TO PEDDLE THEIR SERVICES TO WSHM AS CELEBRITY AUTHORS ... PLEASE STAND UP! "Wage earner sheeple" and "Slapped down red haired step children" may sit down... this includes Hobo the Cat.

Do you tell your circle of friends now that your former husband was DB Cooper - either in a bar or not? Along those lines, how do you share Duane's criminality socially? Do you tell anyone, or just save it for the Internet and your circle of friends here? I could care less about all of this BACKSTORY. Whose kah-kah is doing what at any time of the day - for years! Show man on piece of actual 'documented evidence' that ties anyone to the Cooper hijacking. Pending that, everything else is kah kah.

Oh brother! In other words, you are OUT, and he/they are IN. If it's so damned secret why even post it? Rock of Ages, cleft for me, Let me hide myself in Thee; Let the water and the blood, From Thy wounded side which flowed, Be of sin the double cure, Save from wrath and make me pure. Not the labor of my hands Can fulfill Thy law’s demands; Could my zeal no respite know, Could my tears forever flow, All for sin could not atone; Thou must save, and Thou alone. Nothing in my hand I bring, Simply to Thy cross I cling; Naked, come to Thee for dress; Helpless, look to Thee for grace; Foul, I to the fountain fly; Wash me, Savior, or I die. While I draw this fleeting breath, When my eyes shall close in death, When I rise to worlds unknown, And behold Thee on Thy throne, Rock of Ages, cleft for me, Let me hide myself in Thee.

Don't forget 'bout Mr. Credible Bob Koss? My eyes Glaze over at some point .... Im lucky!

Two cutaways? Does your mother know what you do for fun in life? My Mom was a parachute packer in WW2. She said if I packed like she did I never would have had any need for cutaways. She just couldn't believe how sloppily skydivers packed their round canopies. "Appalling" is the word she used. Actually I packed my surplus C9 round canopy very neatly by skydiver standards but my Mom was not at all impressed. She proceeded to demonstrate how the skirt sections should be "dressed" after the panels were flaked. It looked picture perfect but I doubt if it served any useful function other than a cosmetic one. 377 Bless your mom! And someone with equal passion taught her! By the numbers... As a kid, were your shirts and pants clean and pressed? Would you have passed Inspection at Wentworth?
