Really? I'm sure his charmed female crime victims might have a different opinion. Jo wrote***Vulnerable - not hardly! He could out think and out wit the best! That statement is demonstrably false. Duane was outwitted time after time by small town cops and has a rap sheet that proves it. If I had to rate his intelligence from his rap sheet he would be sub normal. I understand your need to portray Duane as a smart compassionate capable person, but that has no place here, especially when it flys in the face of indisputable facts. 377 Jo will IGNORE every word said. That's her job. SELL THAT PROPERTY - NOW! TO HELL WITH THE VICTIMS. TAKE THE PROFITS AND RUN ... and the best part is: BY THE END, JO WILL CLAIM EVERYONE IS COMPLICIT AND SHE DOES NOTHING WRONG - BECAUSE EVERYONE IS GUILTY AND DOING IT TOO!! Fact is, there isn't one, not one, piece of hard evidence to support Duane Weber was DB Cooper. Not one single piece of corroborating evidence including the so-called 'hospital confession'. Not even supposed testimony from anyone else, of the kind Blevins says he has! NOTHING! It's all Jo's word and nothing more.

Established what? That you got it wrong about saying I was interviewing Mitchell? Yes, that's established. As far as quoting Mitchell, that was strictly from Mitchell's testimony as it appears in Skyjack. So I guess you could say I was quoting Geoff Gray. You didn't get that one right either. Woopie? You think it's easy getting to the Super Bowl? Five bucks says you watch reruns of Orange County Housewives on game day. It's hard for me to fault you on that, though. Vicki is certainly hot. Establish this: quote Blevins: Didn't say I 'emailed' or 'interviewed' him. Said I sent him a letter with several pictures and a cover letter. I did sort of stall on that, yes. Couldn't really decide what I should say in the cover letter. But after I was reminded about this a couple of days ago...I finally had Gayla mail it out on Monday. He should receive it in the next couple of days. Said I sent him a letter with several pictures and a cover letter... Said I sent him a letter with several pictures and a cover letter Said I sent him a letter with several pictures and a cover letter Said I sent him a letter with several pictures and a cover letter Hatred, bitterness, and sniping from the shadows never works, and your chain can be pulled as easily as I walk my cat. He's leash-trained, too.

Time to Change Your Story, Mrs. Cooper: Recently, I went to Gresham to see where Tina lived and worked in 1979, as you and others have claimed. I went to an address that Galen had given me, which is now an assisted-living community and nursing home. In 1979, it had been the Lutheran Home and Health facility. Now, it is called the Good Samaritan Community. I talked to staff and was very surprised to learn that Tina did not work there at all in 1979. Rather, she was a patient. Precisely what do you think a Lutheran home is? YOU are the only one who ever claimed she was a patient and if she was perhaps Duane did NOT know that. He knew a woman who lived in Gresham - information supplied to him by a snitch who was employed in a system in Ca - I assumed a credit card company...as I was told. YOU Bruce do twist things for the dramatic effect and the impact. All we have is YOUR word and that has been disputed in the past! One would assume Lutheran Home meant retirement home - perhaps Duane thought the same thing! And just perhaps ... maybe ... could it be? .... thinking ... this is all bullshit! ? This has nothing to do with people thinking on their ass ... or getting out of tight places .... but salemanship and con artistry, at its best/worst. Duane was probably an amateur next to Jo! Who knows why she married that guy. Opportunity to rule something ??? She knew he was vulnerable and couldn't think for himself. She saw an opportunity of some kind! My guess is, 'Duane' is just a word, in this whole debacle! It's Jo doing all the talking, not Duane, Duane is long dead - or was that missed ?

I believe he was Cooper and the pictures are pictures sent to me by the EX-wife. I go by the confession he made in the hospital and the vivid memories he had. Silly question - the ground man was only stated because of the one statement he made about Cooper in WA in 1979. "That's were Cooper walked out of the wood". I said how would you know that? and he replied "Maybe I was the one on the ground". Duane was covering himself with that statement (man on the ground) and the ONLY reason I ever put MAN ON THE GROUND into this. He did make a statement at a cemetary that he knew someone who was buried there. I am the one who theorized if he was not Cooper as so many claim then the man on the ground buried Cooper. All I have done is tell the story as it occured. One can get 2 different messages from what he said - and that is exactly what is happening...and what I have tried to relay. Telling the truth - when YOU have no idea what it means because you were too STUPID to ask question when it happens is very difficult. I believe he was Cooper, but I have to listen to what everyone else has proclaimed over the last 17 yrs. and try to figure out all of the possibilities....but without lieing about anything. AS you your question as to why he would need microwave - I do NOT have a clue. ALL I do know is that he showed me and told me about every DAMN microwave tower we came near and far....problem is I can't tell a signal tower for air traffic from a Microwave Tower. I REALLY am dumb about a lot of things - I really do NOT know the difference ....but he pointed out every tower near every airport and high point....even when I could NOT see the tower. Yes, I believe the death bed confess over what he said when he let some words come out of his mouth he should not have said in WA. I think the statement about man on the ground was just so I would not take what he had said seriously. In 1979 we had been married less than 2 yrs. He said nothing about an Airstream and others being involved in a crime. He did make a statement about a Camper and where the boys used to stay in reference to the area where Paradise is - he also mentioned at the same time about how with the old highway there used to have a covert running under the highway and he talked about the parallel Power lines. This was the same conversation when he pointed to the Pacific and told me about an area on the beach 'the boys" used to go to...he also mentioned "the guys" working there. JO WEBER is not making any of Crap up - all I have done is tell the story and I tell it first person and as it really happened. I am not some person who read a story about Weber & then went out and created his own suspect out of a man who did NOTHING to deserve what his own brother did to him. Kenny NEVER CONFESSED to one damn thing. As for tossing hard earned money into the river - well, if it was damaged there was NO way he was going to be able to pass it any place without raising some eyebrows. The location was most likely symbolic as he talked about the Boys again and that he used to know a man who lived over in Portland. This was stated when I got out of the car at the river. The dream about leaving prints on the AFT stairs is VERY REAL! If I had know what the dream was about he would have been in Jail. WHY THE FRICKING HELL DO YOU THINK I finally UNDERSTOOD THE CONFESSION AFTER I FOUND OUT WHO DAN COOPER WAS! That was all that went through my mind and I was so angry at myself. 1979: 1. The trip. 1995: 2. The confession (I did not know the name used by Cooper was Dan. 1996: 3. The day I found out Dan Cooper was D.B.Cooper. WHAT else can I do or say. If one thinks I am sitting here beating my brains out - yea, you are right, because I didn't get it. I was so STUPID. As for your statement about Man on the Ground - I do not think it deserves any further discussion. I only explored that as a possibility because of the cover-up remark when he said "That is were Cooper walked out of the woods". HOW was he supposed to answer the question? He made a slip of the tongue and quickly covered it up - I was just a DUMB BROAD - but, he really didn't know about my ability to remember things the way I do. WELL now I have to work to remember what I ate today or if I ate at all. the Airstreaqm and bank statement reflect Cooper pushers in general. here - new evidence! Right down Jo's alley . . .

I have told this for yrs and yrs since I learned that Tina resided in Gresham. In 1979 on that trip Duane pointed across the river telling me he used to know a woman who lived in Gresham and worked for a Senior - retirement or nnursing home. Then I find out Tina was indeed in the Gresham area in 1979. Gresham was NOT a very large place. I do NOT know if the woman Duane was speaking of was TINA, but if fits what he said and the fact he put money on Tina Bar - which I had not thought about until recently (that part is just my thinking). Talking about Tina in Gresham was part of my EARLY conversations with Mr. H. Duane was NO hero - but he did have a conscience and regrets in his later life - that is a given by all he did to try to right his wrongs. ***Occasionally you return to another fantasy with the same theme of elevating Duane's stature and character. You portray him as a member of an elite covert ops group that used their criminal skills to help make the world a better place. You don't have a single fact to back that up. Not fantasy at all. I do not think he was elite covert ops - he was part of a group out of TX that worked outside of the government. I met other men also associated with this group. You might call them men in black who worked within the ranks of the unions, the mafia and as informers - they worked independently and with financing from a very wealthy man who felt a strong allegiance & had knowledge of the underworld. He did it his way - he had the power and the money. The FBI knows I have told them this & it is a known fact this man had a very unusual relationship with the U.S. government and Politicians. Yes, he is a pushy, rude enquirer type writer. I do not and will not change my thinking on that. I hate that kind of journalism...it is the lowest of the low. Personally I like him - but not his methods. You are speaking of 2 different eras of the life of Weber. I don't think Weber was ever a DANGEROUS man, but he had a lot of good in him. If there had been programs in place when he was a youth - his life could have been much different. He did some terrible things, but he did NOT murder anyone or pull a gun on them - it was always theft. At the time of the SKYJACKING he actually was trying to commit suicide because he could not bring himself to kill himself...I do belive he did NOT think he would make it. If the sky marshalls didn't kill him and if he died in the jump - it made absolutely NO difference to him. Remember how child like he was when the money actually arrived...remember this if you remember nothing else. A hardened criminal intent on harming others would NEVER have allowed this vulnerablity show thru. The compassion and redemption would come AFTER the skyjacking when he later learned about Tina and saw the pictures of the stress in her face. He was fighting his own stress of not getting caught. Frankly I don't think he felt the remorse immediately. The remorse & fear of being found out more than likely did NOT set in until we moved to CO. Knowing Duane personality for 17 yrs - and the fact that my daughter may be responsible for his deciding to attemp redemption. Remember the NIGHTmare in Denver - this is when he started making drastic changes in his life style. My daughter was the spitting image of TINA! Duane was very protective of my daughter and of me. He had a life he had only dreamed about, but had never experienced. Moving to CO - is when he started to CHANGE his life. He was fearful in Denver, but getting to Ft.Collins - he made serious changes in his life and more so after the 1979 trip to WA. I have definitely not painted Duane as any example of the perfect husband, provider or father. He was a hell of a lot NICER to people than Bruce was. He was much more considerate than Bruce as he was aware of the damages that could be caused by his actions. I will not retract that because as soon as I learned Tina was living in Gresham - Mr. H and I had a conversation about this. I do KNOW how Duane knew where Tina was living - there was snitch in CA who worked for a MAJOR credit card company. When Tina got her divorce - the credit card changes where handled by this person (I would stake my life on this). The ex-wife was the one who told ME that TINA got her divorce there! I know Duane was intouch with the EX-wife also after he went on the kidney machine. In 1977 I personally put Duane on a plane to CA - to be sure that he had washed that woman out of him mind...and he came back to Atlanta and he told me when he waved good by to her at the airport he knew it was over! He told her that he would not live for more than 5 yrs. THE big kicker - When Duane went on the machine - he CALLED her from the shop around 1992 (it was on his shop phone bill). She thought he was already dead & told him what she had done (contacting Max)! She admitted this conversation to me, but she did not know when he died...until I located her.... we stayed intouch until 2 months before she died. The FBI would nnot tell me where she was (but he slipped up and said CA). She and I talked about her employment with the credit card company she was working for when he went to CA in 1977. SHE in one her moments told me all about it, but she wouldn't tell the FBI. I, of course told Mr. H and I think I told the FBI. The FBI never revisited her and to my knowledge never asked her about her employment. CAN I prove any of it - hell if the FBI had wired me and let me have paid a casual visit - the truth would have been know YRS ago. The daughter told me she KNEW Duane was Cooper...when she answered the phone one evening and MOM was not there. I believe her. She died of an OD several months later. Total Nonsense. Take it to Bollywood or AB Books of Seattle.

Robert99, I know you are incapable of believing it, but Flight 305 didn't go over Tina Bar on its way to Portland and that's not how the money ended up there. Those facts remain the same no matter how many times you claim otherwise. Was this before or after your alleged FAKE interview with Mitchell that never happened!? Huh? Wrong. Show me where I said I interviewed Mitchell. For the third time now...since you obviously missed the first two times I answered this question: AB sent him a letter with five pictures and a cover message. Notations on the back of the pictures. That's all. You must have me mixed up with the Washington State History Museum. THEY interviewed him. There could be some resemblance I suppose, but I never thought I actually looked like a museum. I have CONSIDERED the idea of interviewing Mitchell, but I think approaching him with a polite letter first might be the best way to go. If he calls me or something, I will talk to him. Otherwise I won't cold-call the guy. If you want to see an interview with him other than the one Poynter did, why don't you call him yourself? He's in the book. Non-Cooper Side Note: Available AB staff and some friends spent the last twenty-four hours hanging out at my place for an NFC Championship Game party. They all went home...finally. Everyone was satisfied with the results. We all agreed it was a mistake for SF quarterback to test Seattle CB Richard Sherman on that last SF play. Sherman not only has a 'tude, he's ruthless on defense. My personal fave part of that game was when Seattle RB Marshawn Lynch ran for the touchdown and bags of Skittles rained down in the end zone. An ESPN announcer has come up with a nickname for Seattle QB Russell Wilson: Little Big Man. This is a reference to his less-than-six-foot height, and the fact that he has now tied Pittsburgh's Ben Roethlisberger's win-loss record for the first two seasons as an NFL QB. Well, I am glad we finally established that. Now you can stop quoting him all the time! As for the rest, woopie.

Yes you did. But that was also back when you were saying it was pink. The page below is where I posted the chute picture from back a couple of pages ago. Note it is a cargo chute from 1945. They say silk. This a garment company - you'd think they would know their fabrics from a hole in the ground.........

That's too cool Hangdiver. It's obvious why the American Lady Corset Company never made skydiving canopies. 377 Whoa, Three-Seven-Seven. If I had an American Lady Corset parachute, I'd definitely start skydiving! Over Hollywood, too!! I'd even want to get a matching windbreaker and baseball cap!!! don't forget your loafers and briefcase The photos presented so far make fabric id impossible. I have to wonder if Tom and Gray saw photos of better quality in the archive, and may have some answers but aren't talking? Why all of the mysteries surrounding this 'cargo' chute? The void just invites rampant speculation and trouble.

I was told several years ago by a parachute dealer in the Portland area that Cooper's parachute was an NB-6 with the shroud lines sewn to the risers. That is, there were no separable links between the top of the risers and the canopy. The above is a very distinctive feature, or was in the early 1970s, and the NB-6 that I owned until just a few weeks before the hijacking had the shroud lines sewn to the risers. Robert99 and that could be one of those 'details' the FBI refuses to talk about. Something Cossey would know .... but Hayden might not know?

Thank you. Now we are getting somewhere. Here are some sample of ripstop if the websites are correct. I could not find a photo of Twill parachute material. Here is silk previously posted - note its pattern. the only twill I found was one on Ebay. it's description is Rip-stop and Twill: Nylon Fabric. oh well ... if that's twill it still has the square pattern seen in ripstop, but missing in silk weave. 377 or Hangdiver: does this look like twill to you - the twill you are talking about? The amboy chute does not appear to have a square or rectangular pattern in the fabric ? Thanks Shutter.
-
You can clearly see a square pattern in ripstop. That pattern is missing in the amboy chute closeup. What does twill look like?

BS. This is NOT what I told you yesterday in my email. Since you decided to use me as an example, I will make that info public. I told you THIS: There is a very nice couple who attends Ariel each year. I interviewed the wife for the video. They are from Amboy, and their main claim to fame is that they have raised about 350 foster children for the State of Washington. The wife's name is Carol, I believe. Check the 42 minute point of my Ariel 2012 video on that. Interviewing the wife privately, she said they knew the people who owned the property where the chute was unearthed. They were neighbors she said, and I believe her. These people are well-known in the Amboy/Ariel area and are lifelong residents. The wife is a petite brunette who looks younger than her 60+ years. The husband is 'portly' and always wears a string tie, dresses like a cowboy, about 70 years of age. Very nice folks. I'm not giving out their full names. You want to know who they are, where they live? Ask Dona Elliot. Bruce: Last time I ever drop any information on you privately. POST TWILL RIPSTOP AND SILK FABRIC PHOTOS (SEM) SINCE NO SKYDIVER HERE HAS 'EM!

The story that I remember is that the father was grading the road and the blade caught the corner or edge and pulled it partially out of the ground. Could be that it was inadvertently "buried" when the road was cut as opposed to purposefully buried by someone. "A tattered, half-buried parachute unearthed by kids had D.B. Cooper country chattering Wednesday over the fate of the skyjacker, who leapt from a plane 36 years ago and into the lore of the Pacific Northwest." several links repeat the same about it being half buried. I have also read about the tractor hooking it. so who found it, Dad while grading the road, or his kids after he left the area? That published story has the kids with the Dad as he was grading to improve a road into a field ... the tractor snagged the buried chute ... they tried to pull it out but couldn't ... at length they all went home but came back later ... Blevins should have the article - he says he has them all. Ask Blevins to post the article. Isnt there somebody around this Dropzone with twill, ripstop, and silk fabric photos!?
-
Not a chance it was a Cooper canopy. That's my opinion. Too old, not ripstop, and too big for the NB6 or NB8 containers. I don't think it was silk. My bet is nylon twill. ***What's the oldest chute you've jumped with? I was jumping a 1951 USAF 28 ft C9 round canopy as my main and a 1956 USN 26 Ft Conical as my reserve until 1979. Both were made of ripstop nylon. I still have the Navy Conical canopy and it's in great shape. I'd jump with it today if I had to. Twill (non ripstop) military surplus reserve canopies killed a few jumpers when they ripped in high speed deployments. I never saw any used after 1969. They were considered structurally unsound. Riggers will know more than I do about when twill surplus canopies stopped being used in emergency rigs. FAA TSOs play a role in what can be legally packed. 377 Okay. You have jumped with military rigs as old or older as that 1946 canopy from Amboy. (Using timeframe of Hayden purchasing chutes in 1968, as he said in his phone interview) Sounds reasonable. I saw certified rigs at eBay in the same time frame. (older than twenty years) Here are the basic problems, though: 1) You have Cossey, the go-to guy for the Seattle FBI, saying the canopy is silk. That is unlikely. He told this to literally a dozen reporters or more. 2) You have an FBI agent saying the chute is the 'right size'. No further explanation given. 3) The normally thorough FBI doesn't even notice there are two markings on the chute for days after they recovered it. 4) Hard to tell exactly from the pictures if the chute is twill nylon or ripstop. The DOM might have a bearing here, if you can establish when the military switched out of twill. If it's definitely after 1946, then it could be twill and in that case it is very unlikely a Cooper chute. 5) Where is the container and harness? And why did someone bother to bury the remaining canopy? That question really has no answer unless you determine whether or not it is a Cooper chute. If it is, then you will know why. If not, it is hard to say. One thing is certain. It didn't hit the ground, remove its own harness and container, and bury itself. 6) Why did Curtis Eng refuse access to the same people whom they trusted previously with the other evidence? And when Tom Kaye asked, why didn't Eng just say 'Don't bother, it isn't the chute anyway.' You would think a guy like Kaye, whom the FBI trusted enough to turn over the money samples, the other parachute, etc would deserve at least a brief explanation from Eng on why Kaye's team can't examine it. Kaye also says he asked Eng about the chute in person. 7) In articles, Cossey is often repeated with the same thing. The chute, he says, is silk and not nylon, and that's why it can't be Cooper's. But more significant is when he tells the Oregonian BEFORE he was shown the chute that he probably can't ID it without the container and harness and thinks the FBI is 'barking up the wrong tree'. The problem with that statement is that Cossey already knew from news reports that it was a full-size parachute and not a scrap, or a pilot chute this time. And he knew it was found in the same area many people believe Cooper jumped. Even the FBI says it's the 'A' area. This makes it look as if Cossey was preparing to write off the chute no matter what the FBI brings him to examine. In a later article, he says 'it (his examination) was over in ten seconds'. You can infer what you wish on that, but he DID say that. 8) Tom Kaye, the same guy the Seattle FBI trusted with the other evidence, including a chute that is known to be given to Cooper, is completely rebuffed when he makes inquiries to Curtis Eng about the Amboy chute. If the chute was disposed of, or not considered evidence, you would think Eng would at least give him that courtesy. 'A totality of the information' 'It's silk, and the one I gave Cooper was nylon' 'It's MY chute. Of course I would recognize it' Have you tried talking to Betty White about how silk ages?
-
Blevins surmises: "everything EXCEPT that chute ?" Where in blazes did you get that!? Stop making shit up. Where do you get this silly idea Tom and Gray were given access to EVERTHING EXCEPT ... For one, you don't have the faintest idea what there is to get access to !!!!! And neither do Tom or Gray, which has been proven over and over and over. Yankee Doodle came to town riding on his pony stuck a feather in his hat and called it EVER-THANG BUT THE CHOOTE! How you ask? He read the pony's mind!

Oh, come on. You are shooting the messenger again and ignoring the message. I quoted Kaye's email, which is plain enough as I said. The standing offer to examine has been on Kaye's website for years now. You are going to the wrong person on this issue. If you want clarification on exactly when and under what circumstances Curtis Eng refused to let Kaye have access to the Amboy chute, you should be contacting Tom Kaye. We're not talking about ME walking into the FBI office and asking to look at it. I am not a parachute expert. I would be of no use in identifying its nature. I was not a part of a team already allowed to examine all the other evidence without restrictions. That would be Kaye, Alan Stone, and Carol Abraczinskas. To suggest that these same people be allowed to examine the chute (something they obviously want to do) is perfectly reasonable. YES! You finally have something right! We are shooting the messenger, because .... HE KEEPS BRINGING THE WRONG OR FALSE MESSAGES. NOT TO MENTION STUFFING OIL-SOAKED INCENDIARY RAGS OF COOPER VERBIAGE IN THE CRAWL SPACES IN THE INTERNET BOILER ROOM & IN THE DESKS OF PEOPLE YOU DON'T LIKE, SENDING AND RE-SENDING PHONY OFFICIAL MEMOS TO PEOPLE!?, AND FLYING DRONES OVER PEOPLE'S HOUSES AND SPYING ON THEM ... AND GOD ONLY KNOWS WHAT ELSE!!! YOU'RE FIRED! GOOD LUCK ELSEWHERE IN THE COOPER CLEANING INDUSTRY... ANY LAST WORDS ... ?

Dan Gryder (Dangerous Dan on DZ) put out a video on YouTube in Nov of 2011 I believe. He said in his video that he would tell everyone who Cooper was in 2012. Of course, 2012 came and went without anything new from Gryder. He would occasionally respond to comments on his video, but I can't seem to find the video on YouTube any longer. I always thought his suspect was McCoy, though he never confirmed this. If I can find his video, I'll ask him if he ever plans on spilling the beans. I don't think McCoy was Cooper. His was too close to Coopers hijacking and I think he would have been positively ID'd by witnesses that saw Cooper. But I will say this about McCoy: We know he could do the jump, we know he had the motive and most importantly, we know he had the balls to do it. We don't know these three things about any of the other suspects. As you know, I always toyed with the idea that Cooper knew McCoy, was in the background somewhere, got the idea from listening to McCoy 'bloviate', and then beat McCoy by acting first! All based on McCoy's position around other people in training and McCoy's bad habit of talking too much... Based somewhat on Cooper's 'conservative' dress, which may now be plainly wrong if Mitchell is correct. Based also on the general fact McCoy refused to say anything about the Cooper hijacking, including if he had any ideas about who Cooper was - a story we also don't know the full details of, so the story could be myth. There are so many 'what-ifs' and assumptions in the Cooper case it's hard to get your hands around anything as 'core facts'. Here's one: Did they dig and probe around and under the Amboy chute find? Yes.

Just thought you should see it. That is the complete message. that's all fine and dandy. this is an open investigation, I doubt they will let anyone just look over things. basically all evidence is off, not just the chute. we also know Tom Kaye was not denied access to the chute as you claimed he was. Uh....REALLY? He just SAID he was. (denied access) As far as the Sleuths being allowed to 'look over things,' they were already allowed full access to the tie, the money, the other parachute, etc. There is a website with all the reports and conclusions, including the team's standing offer stating they would like to examine the chute. I think that's plain enough. Look Blevins, We speaka'di engwich too! The issue is your pejorative word - DENY! Full of MOTIVES you can do paper hanging on in addition to remodeling-cleaning. Nowhere in Kaye's reply is the word "no" or "deny" used. What he says is he "begged" (which is kind of funny), "to no avail" (which is funnier) ... and "chute may not even be in Seattle" (which is funniest!). Sounds like a hard day at Citizen Sleuth Corral! You write it up as DENIED BY F.B.I. Your mind reading and motives detector is not working. Maybe it's YOU with all the MOTIVES ? DENY DENY DENY! ... FREDDIE IS THE DEVIL! Try tele-pathy and bones and chicken entrails.
