TAKE DOWN THIS POST! YOU CANNOT USE PEOPLE'S NAMES! COMPLAINT FILED TO QUADE.

We have two remarkable experts here on the DB Cooper Hijacking. One, RobertMBlevins, celebrated "celebrity author" from Adventure Books of Seattle, a prominent House cleaning and publishing businesss: http://bghousecleaning.webs.com / Robert is of course the author of "Blast: The True Story of DB Cooper". Robert is also personal friends with Olin Palmer of the Palmer family and has reviewed the FBI's "Palmer Report". Robt has an extensive analysis based on "3 bundles" of the Tina Bar money find. Secondly, we have Jo Weber, aka "Mrs. Cooper", which has been researching the Cooper case since at east 1998? Shouldn't these experts have been included and given speaking opportunities and prominent billing in your Washington State History exhibit and program? Thanks. G./

Thanks! By the way, since you've read my book, along with the rest of the AB staff, what do you think of my treatment of Tina? As for "trashing" Tina, why would I do that? I have profound sympathy for the woman. I believe she is the victim of multiple crimes, and I salute her stellar work aboard 305. I share Bill Rataczak's view that she saved a lot of lives that evening. You? Sure. I think Mucklow did a great job. You know she got picked to do the heavy hauling for two reasons. First, she was the junior stew. Second, she had the most contact with the hijacker. Okay...maybe because Cooper SAID SO. But the truth is, (according to Gray's book, since he was able to speak to all three stews) that all three are to a certain extent...frightened, even today. Mucklow told Gray in a phone call that she worried that any testimony for his book might endanger passengers on aircraft. On the second call by Gray, she told Gray she 'wouldn't be part of the journey' and that her decision was final. Flo, of course, has seen Kenny's picture.

Shutter, I think everyone does what they believe they must. You do what you think is best and I will do the same. And I think we can leave it at that. I did try to answer some of your questions, but uh...I ran into a little problem. You must have missed that part of my post. I'll quote it for you again: "Shutter, I think everyone does what they believe they must..." Really!??? What compels you to trolling and megalomania ? Give it a rest for once. Shutter has been asking (well, almost DEMANDING) to see anything new we've dug up on KC, especially regarding the loan to Geestman's sister, KC's house, etc. So...I decide to relent on this and start digging up this and that for attachments for him, start typing up a message, asking him if he has a problem with some items on the Cooper page at AB...would he list them specifically etc. I will see what I can do. I thought I was pretty nice about it. This takes some time because I have to locate one of the files, another must be scanned. Fine. I do it. So...I go to the PM function and write up the message, attach the stuff...try to send it off... Then I find out he's blocked PM's. He wants me to post up anything and everything publicly. Sorry, not going that route. Really, I was very surprised he would do that especially since people like 377 and Amazon get messages from me all the time and don't seem to have a problem. The only two people I blocked were BK and the spammer person. Even Jo can PM. I don't care. I don't feel threatened by anyone here. BK was just a nuisance. The spammer was that phony 'Danielle1010' who wanted Geestman's phone and address from me directly. Just they are blocked. Big waste of time for me to even bother running all that stuff up. I have better things to do. 'I want to see this, I want to see that'. Keep waiting. You had your chance. AGAIN! - boo hoo - nobody is responsible for your deficits and problems. Give it a rest!

any corroborative evidence? are you kidding? NONE. Not even the socalled death bed confession. It's ALL Jo's word! and the same for Blevins! Not one independent statement or hard evidence - from anybody.

Again Blevins: your deficits are not our responsibility.

The title sir, is right on target! you wrothe the title - duhh ... in your zealous mission to instruction Humanity about Bruce and Ethics - yes!? Duhhhh etal! Everyone knows it's 'GRENADA" ... not Granada, or Canada! All of Western Civilisation knows THAT - where were you!? We are not liable, for your deficits! Remember: it's La 3 Bundolas! What exactly does it prove? Do you believe that Kenny was the hijacker? Sounds like a maybe...or you are not sure...but you SUSPECT it's possible. Otherwise you would not be asking these questions. How do you know the people I interviewed 'made things up'? You don't. It's true Bernie Geestman did, though. And I did check on a lot of the things he said which turned out later not to be true. I'm not sure why you hinted I lied on things, ('an investigator who can't be trusted') because I haven't lied about a thing. Being wrong on a point does not mean I lied, so you can get off that soapbox anytime you wish. What's really pissing you off is that I won't tell you what we discovered on KC regarding his transactions, beyond what is already known. You should just relax on that one. I already said why: Because THIS time, unlike LAST time, I told AB staff that EVERYTHING that we're going to present in future on KC will have to be verified, otherwise we don't present it. And at this point I'm not ready to do that. Why don't you call up Bernie Geestman on the phone, or mail him a letter. Ask him why he said on national television that he agrees Kenny could be Cooper when he was WITH Kenny the whole frickin' week. Ask him that for me. You see, beyond his lies regarding Foss Tugs ('I was out to sea that year for ten to eleven months') and to History Channel, ('I hardly knew Christiansen. I thought he was a dishwasher') and the loan to his sister, ('I thought those airline guys made a lot of money. I don't know the arrangements on the loan') Mr Geestman made a big mistake by tossing KC under the bus on Decoded. In fact, it was the only big mistake he made when they interviewed him. You can't throw KC under the bus when you know perfectly well you had an alibi for him. Unless you had no alibi to offer because you were off with KC doing something else like hijacking a frickin' jet. It's just too bad he was able to exit stage right back to Port Angeles at about the same time Helen Jones was talking to producer Pete Berg, otherwise Berg would have confronted that statement. Then Geestman could try to weasel on that as well. Berg said that they got five minutes of film they could use out of Geestman. That's because they would ask him questions and he would just stare at them without saying a word. The director would cut, and then they would talk to him and start over. He drove all the way down from PA to do the interview but realizes they know more than he figured. He's trapped. So he just sits there and calls me a liar. Whatever. His sister, Helen Jones, Jones' daughter, his ex wife, me. We're all liars. Everything is made up. Not so. Geestman, out of all these people, is the only one who was caught in lies. So you choose whom to believe, the one with a history of lying, or the people who just told what they knew. Geestman should just own up and admit two things: First, that he both arranged and delivered the $5,000 to his sister Dawn from Christiansen. Second, where he and Kenny were, and what they were doing on Thanksgiving week 1971. That will answer a lot more than proving the arrangements on a house. I think Buddy Levy, the WSU prof who was on Decoded said it best regarding Christiansen: Today, both Levy and Scott Rolle firmly believe that KC was Cooper. Levy more than Rolle, although Rolle (a former ADA out of Maryland) says he has gotten convictions on less evidence than was presented on KC. Christine McKinley still isn't sure. Pete Berg calls Geestman a liar and says he thinks Geestman was a part of the hijacking. That is their opinions, of course. I'm still in the 'not sure' category. I like to remind people of something else. I wasn't the first to investigate Christiansen. That would be Geoff Gray. I just tried to take it further. Did Gray lie about everything? Did he make up everything he discovered? I don't think so. What we're dealing with here regarding KC is a Johnny-Come-Lately problem. Definition: If all of this crap would have come out say...in January of 1973 instead of forty years later, there is no question that the Seattle FBI would have dragged all of these people into the office and sat them down for a little Q and A session. Today? Well, nobody cares much and there is no longer a budget. So it goes.

If I didn't say it before, welcome to the forum. The problem with the money being a plant by Cooper is... what's the purpose to plant something that might or might not ever be found? And why plant it there? For all intents and purposes you have gotten away with a crime. Why draw any attention to the crime or yourself? Stay as far under the radar as you can. And if you are going to plant the money - why plant it there? Wouldn't it make a lot more sense to plant it somewhere along the assumed flight path? It would be in a place where it might be expected to be - essentially erasing the question as to whether it was planted or not -- and by extension that he must have survived in order to plant it. Wouldn't it be a lot better to reinforce their suspicion that you are dead? The only rationale that I can think of for this is that the hijacker wanted to taunt the FBI with you-can't-catch-me. But then the location still doesn't make sense. Why take the chance that no one would ever dig in that exact spot? There are so many better ways to drop the money where you would know it would be found if that was the objective. The only other plant story that makes sense to me is if the adult Ingrams got possession of the money somehow and they wanted to be able to turn it in and get the value of the money or a reward without revealing the real way they came about having the money. Now that one I have to admit I've wondered about. You beat me to the punch on this. A plant only works if the money is found. So, anyone who thinks the money was a plant, has to ask their selves, "was finding the money planned as well?". Now, we are getting into Grey Cop territory and that is not a good place to be. I think the idea of a plant is ludicrous, at best. I will let you in on a personal secret: The money story is not what I wanted it to be! Plant? No money tree has ever been found on Tina's Bar.

There never was a Cooper. The crew was all in on the scam. What kind of search dogs? Those German Shepard's can be slackers. The canine equivalent of donut cops. They get treats and praise when they indicate detecting drug scents so they quickly learn the game of justifying a search of every stopped vehicle. FBI should switch to Border Collies if they want super smart hard working dogs. But there is a risk. The BCs would be tipping the ACLU on phony justifications for vehicle searches. 377 Well the dogs dont exactly have a political agenda unless its to be fed, get a few rewards and affection, and have a place to sleep where they are secure... The dogs tracked the scent straight down the stairs and out the back of the plane ... so if Cooper was pretending why was he on the stairs at all ... ? And the only place on that plane the dogs found any scent of Cooper was where he had been and straight down the stairs. No scent in the cargo hold(s) or anywhere else. Gray's book fails miserably on the story of the dogs! Here's a question for ya: were the dogs shipped back with the plane, just in case a scent match was needed (between the seat etc) and some suspect back in Washington ? Let's give Blevins and Weber a chance to invent answers - and Smokin a chance to do web searches...

Blevins responds: *** Even 'down but not locked' would cause the stairs to drag along the runway. Since no one has ever attempted to do this, the results would be unknown. We know the stairs dragged in Reno during landing. There is no possible way Cooper could know one way or another that dragging the stairs on takeoff might cause sufficient damage to crash the jet. Again: Because no one has tried that, before or since. Not even Air America or the CIA. During the Boeing flight tests, the stairs were lowered in-flight. Conclusion: Without a previous history of ANY 727 trying that takeoff maneuver, he was either guessing, wanted to try it anyway, or didn't really know. Smokin sez: This is incorrect. I just posted a video of an airlift that showed the 727 taxing and leaving the ground with the stairs down. If they did it then, there is ABSOLUTELY no way that you can say with certainty - as you have - that they didn't do it before. As a matter of fact, it is probably more likely than not that those doing things like airlifts and airdrops either knew it could be done or had done it before. . robert99 said: . Blevins responds: Smokin sez: Woah Nelly. The key word is FINALLY managed it. If the hijacker was wanting to jump out either before the plane left the ground or shortly thereafter (by virtue of wanting to start out with the door open), in reality the jump probably did not occur for some 40ish mins after the plane was in the air. And at least 30 mins from the time Tina saw him tying the money to his waist and joined the rest of the crew in the cockpit. As to a 24 - 36 in opening, also see video with man standing on stairs while several others are hanging on to it. I imagine the stairs would go all the way down just like in the sled test. He had the room - more than likely he had not a clue how to open the stairs. Now he might have been just twiddling his thumbs or perusing the latest issue of SkyMall, but logical conjecture says he was having plenty enough trouble getting the door open. And was likely getting more nervous as he knew that he was getting further away from where he wanted his dropzone to be - if we go with the Carr assumption that he wanted to jump pretty quickly after takeoff. Factoid: Nothing you say is going to deter RobertMBlevins or Jo Weber. Dont you know that by now! Logic and facts and information is not what they are here for or engaged in! The only 'information' at stake for them is strong vs weak indications that they are stimulating interest and can continue, again and again and again, in the next five minutes to forever. The rest including the Cooper case or anyone here - they could care less about! - that is NOT why they are here and active.

I've looked a lot at my 727 manuals wondering the same thing. I believe the answer is no. I corresponded with two 727 pilots who share the same opinion. The pressure bump from stair rebound strongly suggests Cooper exited aloft. Hiding on the plane would be an extraordinarily risky gamble even if it were possible. Chances of being found would be high in my opinion. Welcome to the forum. 377 This has been covered before ad nauseum - its the conspiracy theorist's favorite. 'Cooper never left the plane. It was a govt conspiracy'. One answer to this bullshit is: We never went to the Moon! Another answer to this gobblewobble is: Every inch of the plane was search in front of countless witnesses and news people at Reno with service people even finally boarding the plane, once the plane was released by the FBI, and Cooper was nowhere to be found ... the scent dogs indicated his scent went straight out the back of the plane down the stairs! Another answer is: it was all a govt conspiracy and Cooper never left the cabin and was ushered out dressed like a German Shepperd and/or an FBI Agent, and spent the rest of his life in Auburn Washington trying to become a celebrity author ... Another answer is: There is no answer. It's unknowable due to being beyond the limits of current Stone Age Technology. A corollary to that is, only people here at Dropzone know and we know who they are! Jo Weber for one!

It is NO wonder Galen does NOT want you contacting these individuals. He has already experience 1st hand what happens when you approach the witnesses. Strange that GALEN has never attested to the things you claimed. Remember I was in contact with Galen at that time. He sent me one of the pictures in the mail. YOU didn't know that did you? ONLY after the fact and you were very unhappy about that - infact you were STEAMING! I believe that you are zero for three, here, Mrs. Cooper. I've asked you three times for an instance of my lying. Yet, you haven't been able to produce a single item. I'm done. Three strikes and you're out, too. G-bye Mrs. Cooper. Take a seat on the bench. WELL, you better read back to the beginning of your postings in this thread .....and account for all of the horrible things you have said about the subjects over the yrs. Right now you are just another wannabe promoting a book. And we like you too Jo. Be sure to stop by and see Kathy on the way out. She needs some insurance information you evidently failed to fill out last time. Thanks for your cooperation. We'll see you next week. Have a good day. I know it's hard.

Yes. He wanted to take off with the stairs down. The conclusion here is obvious. He wasn't staying around long once the plane reached jump height. Since he made certain comments showing he was familiar with both the area and the distance and travel time to McChord AFB, he was probably local. ***The cockpit crew claimed the 727 could not take off with the rear stairs down, but Cooper told Tina that he knew it could do so. I don't think you are lying, but I would like to see proof that Cooper actually told her this. Even 'down but not locked' would cause the stairs to drag along the runway. True enough. Not THAT much trouble. It's a single handle. And we know he finally managed it. You push it, the stairs drop. Maybe he just didn't expect them to drop only 24"-36" initially, as Bill Rataczak and others have testified they will do in-flight. When you are expecting enough room to get down the stairs, and realize there's only a two or three foot high opening, it could be a surprise, especially when you are carrying a big load. Maybe that's because he had personally never had to operate an airstair release lever before. Possible, but not the simplest explanation. The hijacker knew what he wanted regarding the flight controls, and was familiar with the Puget Sound area. And at the time of the hijacking, Boeing was one of the largest single employers in the area. Everyone in Puget Sound knew somebody who worked for Boeing. Any knowledge he acquired on the 727 was most likely from a Boeing employee, not the CIA halfway around the world. If the hijacking had happened anywhere else, or Cooper had not made NW-related comments, then maybe. Otherwise this scenario is unlikely. See previous response...unless you are saying these CIA flights routinely kept the stairs down full-time during takeoff and landing. There is no proof of those things, of course. I strongly believe he was from the Puget Sound area. The comments, the desire to have the stairs down on takeoff, all of these things point to that. Or...he could have worked for an airline, or knew someone at Boeing. Or both. Those are total guesses, as good as any other I suppose. Your grudge reference refers to when Tina asked Cooper if he had a grudge against the airline. He said he had a grudge, but not against NWA. This means little, because even if he did, he would not say so. Since he did not act out during the hijacking, make any political references, or allude to any other reason he was hijacking the flight, the motive seems to be only the money. That's the opinion of Larry Carr. I've been told that the general scuttlebutt around the Seattle FBI is about the same as the public's. Some think he died, others think he lived. More agents in the Seattle office started leaning toward 'he died' after the Tina Bar money was found. But no one has discovered a shred of him, the briefcase, or the two chutes and it's been more than forty years. And we like you too Robert. Be sure to stop by and see Kathy on the way out. She needs some insurance information you evidently failed to fill out last time. Thanks for your cooperation. We'll see you next week. Have a good day. I know it's hard.

Not true, Mrs. Cooper. In fact, I sent you a copy of my writing about you for your review, as I have done with all my interviews that I have the capacity to get in touch with. Usually that means an email address. My standard operating principal is to share a draft with all my interviewees for the sake of gaining greater acccuracy. I do not give anyone editing power or the ability to cancel or delete anything, only to clarify the truth of what they have said to me. Sometimes, such as with Carol Abracadabra, the revisions can be quite extensive. Others, such as yourself, their requests to change what I wrote were denied. In your case I refused because what you asked of me, in my judgement, was a request to white-wash what you have long told me. For a few, their vascilations go in the book as just that - they told me one thing in 2010 and another wholly contradictory account three years later, as in the case of Don Burnworth's daughter. In her case I provide both accounts that she has given me. A handful, such as Nick O'Hara, go in with a detailed account of the dialogue of his effort to stonewall me. The rule is, and I did not make this rule but I fully understand it, is that the author always gets the last word. That's the way it is. You may not like it, but as I have often told you I believe strongly that you should write your own book and tell your story just way you want it. That way you get the last word on your account of your husband's journey. Truly Mrs Cooper, I doubt you will ever find any serious writer who will write your story just the way you would like it written. At this point, I doubt that your husband ever said anything about Dan Cooper, DB Cooper, or any skyjacking. You have never offered any proof that he said what you claim he did. But you have a great story, so keep the pen moving! For a guy who once worked for a newspaper, and who now has his own online paper...you sure miss the point sometimes on interviews. You're what I call The One Shot Wonder on interviews. You come on like gang-busters, and then if you don't get what you feel you deserve, you either write shit about the person you interviewed, or they stonewall you, or both. This means you seldom or never get a 'comeback' interview. You just go from one to the next, one-time-only, until you run out of resources. This is not a good interview method. One of these days you're going to figure out that manners and respect work much better. Unless the person you are attempting to interview is a heinous criminal, your method is worthless. You have all these interviews posted at Mountain News on Cooper. But in the vast majority you never found out a thing. Just 'confronting' people and then whining later when they shut you out doesn't count under the Famous W's for solid articles. I will give you an exception on Norman Hayden. But I found out more from him in thirty minutes over the phone than you did spending half the day with him in person. But after all that, I still have not given up on you. And believe it or not, I actually LIKE you.

Whatever the hell a "post-Alex Trebeck Neo Zoom Weavie Imitator Movement" is, I will leave for any junior cryptologists out there to decipher.

While the aircraft was on the ground in Seattle, Cooper had an argument with the cockpit crew. The cockpit crew claimed the 727 could not take off with the rear stairs down, but Cooper told Tina that he knew it could do so. There may have been a slight misunderstanding in the use of the word "down". The cockpit crew apparently thought Cooper meant "down and locked" as in normal ramp operations. Cooper apparently just meant "down but not locked". Cooper eventually relented just to get the aircraft off the ground and the aft stairs remained up and locked for the takeoff. Cooper definitely had problems with the aft stair control panel even after being instructed by Tina on how to use it. Based on other things, Cooper had knowledge of parachutes and aircraft operations. But he obviously did not have knowledge of the aft stair operations in 727 civilian airliners. But Cooper had obtained knowledge of 727 aircraft from somewhere. It appears that the Southeast Asia 727 operations would be the probable source of that knowledge. Since the 727s used in Southeast Asia had been modified and the modifications tested in flight (including aft stairs down), it is probable that the control panel for the aft stairs was different for those specific aircraft and not identical to the control panel in the civilian 727s. If Cooper was in his mid to late 40s as generally claimed, he could have had a complete USAF career behind him before starting a second career with the famous "Other Government Organizations". He could have been a cargo kicker, or aircraft mechanic, or who knows what else. But he definitely knew how to find information in flight manuals and aircraft publications and had access to those documents. My guess would be that Cooper was ex-military in some aeronautical related field, had joined an OGO, spent quite a bit of time outside the USA, and had a "grudge" (not related to NWA) as a result of his experiences. But his parachute experience was probably limited and as someone put it, "he knew just enough about parachutes to get himself killed". Robert99 If all of the above true, he should have known (realised) that civilian aircraft had a different control panel for the aft stairs than the military 727s he had experience with. How many degrees of separation are allowable?

And now, just a few hours later you are contradicting your statement made earlier above and saying what you originally argued for here, starting in 2010, namely: As I said, too bad there wasn't a twenty dollar bill from a famous 34-page list in the box when Decoded found it. If Kenny is actually BE Cooper...then you'll know where he probably hid the money and why he built the box. Then I sell that sucker quick on eBay. (*laughs*) And you have the gall to talk about other people's credibility? I knew if I just waited a few hours you would come back here and reverse yourself, like trolls do. A key argument you made in your KC case - is now dead! And one more piece of your credibility dead, not that there was much for you to lose at this point so late in your game ... Your motives are perfectly clear! Then I sell that sucker quick on eBay.[laughs] You're back. Are you going to retract your lie that I said money was found inside that box back in 2010? Just wondering... Should I quote you again? The eBay reference was a joke. I would keep the countertop as a souvenir of course, should Kenny be found to be the hijacker. If anything, I would put it up for auction and donate the proceeds to the Auburn Food Bank. FYI - I never claimed it was major evidence. From the thing-with-the-paper-covers: You are fond of calling people liars. You do it again and again and again; like Jo Weber. I never said any such thing. All I said was "whats the attic box for" ? You are engaged in a wholesaler revision and softening of your original three years of claims. We all know what you said and intended concerning the supposed new-old attic box found where KC lived. BTW you have offered no proof at all that the box wasn't constructed the week before you supposedly found it. But who cares - The point is Blevins, just like Jo Weber, you also are in constant revision of your stories. You say one thing on t1, then come back on t2 and claim you didn't say what you previously said ... until people's eyes and brains glaze over! Nobody cares any more, Blevins. You're history. Good luck calling people liars in your 17th re-run.

Presumably Sheridan failed the dna test. The smoke and mirrors and what-ifs are irrelevant.

Flight Engineer (and now Captain) Andy Anderson and Alice Hancock are both still alive. That is what I hear from Galen. He says he has spoken to both of them at length, and Alice agreed to help Galen make contact with Tina. Alas, Tina rebuffed Alice, according to Galen. Galen has also asked me to respect his position pitching his book and his investment in finding these two indivuduals. As a result, he has not given me the contact information for them, and I have been unable to find either one of them on my own. As for a raging recluse. Tina is unique. She is quite selective on who, when and where she rages. She slammed the front door three times when I visisted her in July 2011. To me, one door slam is anger, two is totally pissed off, three is rage. In addition, I never felt that Tina's anger was directed towards me personally or directly. Rather, I felt she was angry at something else and I simply triggered the association. She didn't make eye contact with me at all when she slammed the door, nor did she ever hurl any epithets towards me. The rage was quite contained. No f-bombs at all, nor any shouting. In fact, no words at all, once she asked me to leave. Thanks for the picture of Tina, Smokin99. So that is what she looks like when she smiles. Wow. Thanks Bruce. did either of them comment about the case that you know of. I don't recall reading anything? No, I don't know what their perspectives are on the case. All I know of them is from my brief conversation with Galen. G said that they both were quite cordial and conversant. Andy did express a little surprise that no journalists have gone looking for him, and both said they weren't hiding from the press - just not seeking it. Galen gave me the sense that Andy has some unique ideas about the case and is wating for someone to ask him the right questions. Hopefully, Galen did. Time to call Bob!
