That may mean something but what? Do all of these particles form a cohesive or similar group one would find - where? Or are multiple diverse environments suggested. Years ago Tom mentioned using FBI particle analysis software to identify particles and look for relationships/sources? Has that software yielded anything interesting Tom has commented about? Where is Tom posting about this - on Ulis' Facebook site? Maybe Ulis is now in charge of the whole Cooper case ? Or did this tie come from Larry's Landfill and Parts Yard - Im suspicious. Maybe everything he wore was borrowed? Someone did opin his cloths were miss-matched - who said that? 'He looked disheveled ? Has this tie taken us to the Land of Oz? Maybe Cooper left this tie precisely to confuse and divert ? The tie does not trace back to Mary's Bakery Shop in Toledo! (smile) Let me add this about the real DB Cooper: When Tina pleaded with Cooper at the end, to take his bomb with him when he left, Cooper just stared at her without reply, leaving her to wonder . . . Cooper was a control person right to the end. The evidence of Cooper being a control ( addict?) happens from start to finish throughout this hijacking. The concerns he expressed feed that narrative... be careful: the tie may be a plant and part of his grudge designed to continue and affect other people after he left!

This has been asked before without answer - who would answer?

I was astounded at the sheer number of particles and classes of particles, found on this tie. If you compared this tie with 1000 other ties at random, where would the Cooper tie fall - into what class? I think Ulis is doing worthless junk science! Was Cooper and this tie sitting into front of an air conditioner or a fan that focused particle debris on to his person vs what the average person picks up in the same amount of time ? Has McCrone offered any opinions about these particles and the sheer number of them?
-
I havent spent any time on the McCrone list. Its entirely Tom's project. There are people who specialize in particles (particle analysis/interpretation) but I dont know that any of these people have ever been consulted. I wonder if there isnt software that could find relationships in this large list ? I think this is a project for an experienced specialist...

I talked to TC recently about where the case is headed, forensically and otherwise. Tom said lots of new material on Rackstraw has emerged as a result of his 40 member team's new work. So stay tuned. I got the impression Tom is bearing down 'hard' on Rackstraw based on new information. ............................................. I like to talk to people directly rather than conjecture.

The real Tina Mucklow. https://www.rollingstone.com/culture/culture-features/db-cooper-tina-mucklow-untold-story-1111944/ By Andrea Marks January 12, 2021

Seen from a forensic point of view (yes there is such a thing!) the Cooper case is distinct. The DB Cooper case may come to be known as a 'textbook case' for what can go wrong in a criminal investigation where missed opportunities and a massive loss of physical evidence determine the outcome, perhaps for all time. The Cooper case intersects with the very period during which forensic science was developing by leaps and bounds, while law enforcement was blissfully ignorant of new opportunities ! For example, take a look at the history of CT Scanning and how that overlaps with the Cooper case timeline, if you are interested and you may not be interested! . See: https://www.isct.org/computed-tomography-blog/2017/2/10/half-a-century-in-ct-how-computed-tomography-has-evolved Imagine a CT scan of the Cooper money find and a reassembly of the bills into the form exactly as found! What could that have told us about the Cooper money find? That can never happen now thanks to a Judge and greedy people clamoring for their rights & rewards ! Its hilarious and sad. CT techniques have unraveled a charred burnt roll of early Biblical fragments - imagine what this technology could have done with the Ingram find! The 1976 San Francisco conference could have decided to simply wait and take stock, secure and protect all Cooper evidence, until such time as technology might have been available to address the Cooper case, but alas that was not the dominant point of view. So now we have Netflix videos instead of answers. People make choices that ripple in time, sometimes forever. Imagine this was the Cooper money Ingram find? https://www.timesofisrael.com/1500-year-old-scrap-of-bible-found-near-dead-sea-deciphered/ In 1980 when the Cooper money was found some 70 million CT scans had been done in the US alone ... so the technology was available if someone had wanted to use it in the Cooper case ? But that would have taken foresight and training ... much like today and the Netflix docu-drama with the best untrained Cooper researchers ... on screen! Yeeeeeeeeeeeeee Hah. The Netflix program is a product for sale. Nothing less, nothing more. It may be an indicator of where the Cooper case is and why!

Any idea what his background - work history was?

TK and I have talked .... with Shutter helping. Apparently Hom has passed. The Hom interviews including the Anderson interviews will be put on a site somewhere for people to download - give us time. Its hot, people are busy ... there is no urgency about this.
-
Good - that helps. Thanks!

Sweet! Thank you. The reason I asked is because Carr mentioned the flight going near Bald and Green mts, when he was here years ago. I never knew his source for that. Where does this article come from if you know ??? Was what this newspaper's source?? Pse identify the 302 ? Part, page, DBC number ?
-
Any land features related to fp mentioned in 302s?
-
Any early 302s that mention Bald Mt or Green Mt?
-
Any news about the status of Hominid, from anyone ? I emailed several people but no replies yet.
-
Huh!? are you trying to say something?

In addition, R99 has other 'stipulations' which he says are fundamental to his WFP/Tena Bar theory. (1) Cooper was a no pull - fell straight down, somewhere 'up hill' or 'east of where the money was found'. (2) "Water flows down hill!" This moves money to where found at Tena Bar, and (3) It was somebody at the FBI, maybe even a secretary, who actually sat down with a pencil and made the FBI FP Map Carr presented to the world. In any event, R99's WFP is only the beginning of a series of assumptions required to bring the money find into the orbit of the 305 flight path. According to R99, the money find and the flight path of 305 must have a direct cause-and-effect connection. Moreover, R99 evolved his current WFP theory over a period of years. He began years ago making assertions about other options for Cooper money arriving at Tena Bar. R99 seems to develop a theory for all occasions as forum conditions and forum politics changes. (The Jo Weber Method ?) In contrast to this, Hominid took another approach. He decided to find and interview various Air Force and NWA personnel who were actually involved in the 305 Test Flight and the creation of a flight path search map shared with NWA and the FBI used in a search for DB Cooper. Some of Hominid's work was posted at Dropzone for use by the public. Two totally different approaches with totally different results.

Let me verify what Hominid's status is first. Hominid's post history at DZ can be found through a Search using the term /Hominid/. That will give you a cross section of the material Hominid was working on and posted about. I hope this helps.

You are trying to convert the wrong people! Your debate is with the people who developed the FBI fp and those people are all dead! You are wasting your time, quite frankly. There is NO EVIDENCE WHATEVER IN FACTS, that ties the money find to the flight path. The tail does not wag the dog, R99!

Exactly. The 'points' are radar plots?

JAG asks: Perhaps this is silly question, but does anyone know or has anyone ever asked if the FBI took/has "crime scene" photographs from inside of N467US once they landed in Reno and examined the plane? I know there are pictures of the inside of the plane from the sled test in early 72, but was really wondering if they had pictures of row 18, the aft stairs, the controls for lowering the stairs ? Is this something that TK or Geoffrey Gray could confirm based on their access to the FBI files on the case ? If they exist, could FOIA be made for them or would it be included in the current monthly releases ? Good important questions. It was Gray and Carr who have done extensive interviews with Reno agents (retired). Gray was very protective of his information. I think he knows more than he has written or released. Maybe Darren should interview Gray about how the plane was canvassed by Reno agents, their dog(s)?, what type of dogs they were ... 'the dogs ate the lunches and created a total mess' ? ... and there are several long posts somewhere early in the thread about what Agents did and how Agents handled the Reno situation. Reno played a very important role in this case because of how they handled the Reno boarding and forensic examination.

well! I'm honored. I guess that confirms my prior remarks were received and logged. 73s R99. ..... .. The former manager may still be alive? He was fun to talk to and remembered everything in detail ... Had a long career. I think Darren would love talking to him ? Might make a nice podcast? Himmelsbach had even flown in and out of his airport ... we actually discussed the people who were flying in/out of private airports that night ... several came into Troutdale and stayed put until 305 had passed PDX. He kept Troutdale closed until 305 was gone ... he had comments about the WX that night. Great informative discussion.

R99 posts: As far as I can tell, no one has asked any member of the flight crew (or even Tina) this simple question. Did you pass Portland on the east side, west side, or did you fly directly over Portland International Airport? Robert99 6/9/22 The list of names could be expanded to include a whole list of people that had direct knowledge at the time! They have (or were) never asked either! It is impossible to play 'catch-up' in 2022. No serology done on the cigarette butts when the FBI still had them. Serology did exist in pre-dna 1971 and crime investigations regularly used it - I grew up in that era. Same for the cup. We might at least have Cooper's blood type ? . . . By 1980 however the Lab is actually examining sand types found between the newly discovered bills - so somebody had his or her head screwed on straight in a small piece of the DB Cooper case. Robert or EU or Kaye or Carr could call Tina up and ask her! Or any of a very long list of other people involved in the Cooper case. * I asked the former Manager of the Troutdale Airport R99's very question years ago - he knew the answer. I posted that info but it did not count. You must be a 'celebrity' to have any credibility in this case! The Manager of the Troutdale Airport said 'west side of PDX' based on conversations he had with the FBI and managers at PDX - The Manager of the Troutdale Airport stayed on duty until 305 had passed out of WA airspace. He said 305 was restricted from flying over PDX ...

I guess there is a market for this kind of thing, and people like Ulis. It's foreign to my whole experience, almost. EU strikes me as a 'wnnabe' who is in completely over his head, and may be sinking. Maybe his friends can save him from being: "one of the worlds leading experts on the DB Cooper case". Before this he tried poker card shows but made millions? - stock brokering? - running for Congress - selling shoes ? Maybe his next gig will be as "one of the worlds leading experts on the DB Cooper case" in the Ace Hardware paint Dept? I dont know what else to say. He needs a shave ? All of his videos are very tedious to have to wade through. Bring ten cups of coffee ...
