  1. Did anyone see that program? I only get antenae free programs. If someone was able to tape it - I will pay for a copy plus the shipping. Or is it just more of the same old same old. It is a 2 part - I am unaware of any of the old segements or documentaries consisting of 2 parts? Thanks for ceritfying that X is a clueless as you are.
  2. Don would know where he was incarcerated, unless of course they had him bound and gagged inside a full body paper sack, feeding him through the bung hole in the sack, then taken out and released on some deserted beach in the Fiji Islands? But I doubt it happened that way.
  3. There is a RULE at work here: Aliens NEVER contact legitimate sources, in the open light of day. But only gossip columnists in the full dark of secrecy. What does this mean? The world is a black hole.
  4. I thought Bruce said X wanted to talk to you? Did that veer happen? Maybe I have this mixed up?
  5. Know anything about Burnworth, especially his arrest after the hijacking?
  6. Funny. Thats a good one. Here's a photo of thge KT boundary (New Mexico). Doesnt look like much does it. Thats a good cartoon Sluggo - still laughing.
  7. Yeah, gold was fixed at $35/oz during the Bretton Woods system. I need to check my eco history, but the system broke down progressively from when Nixon abandoned the gold standard in late 71 (before Cooper IIRC) until we had properly floating exchange rates in 1973. I can't recall exactly when gold started to float properly, but of course by 1980 or 81 it was at $850/oz, a level it never got back to until recently. Thats exactly correct. I had forgotten about this. Bretton Woods and Nixon. 377 asked why anyone would own rare metals. Its an investment tool meant to hedge against inflation. You buy options. Its a very volatile market and small investors usually dont come out well ... some prefer to own something tangible like Kuggerrands if conversion or trade is going to be an issue ... not too many people can trade Iridium at the local grocery in a Depression. Say you got a settlement when your employer filed bankruptcy in 2006. You might have some money (or assets) to have to try and protect. That would be one motivation for buying an investment tool ... some people buy realty or land. E-bonds were attractive. Paying down your debt and your high interest credit cards is always an excellent policy ... Right now with all the rain we have had a small boat might be worthwhile ... Im not going to get into Burnworth's personal life unless something specific to the hijacking comes up.
  8. Just old ones that were closed at the start of WWII when the miners were needed for wartime critical production in other mines. Many of those old mines are out here in the western USA and back then when I was checking them out they were only 30 years old. Today those mines are far more dangerous to enter if you find one in the mountains.... and you can't pay me enough to go into one of them. There used to be silver & gold mining in the Washougal in the 1800s into the 20th cent. Jerry can expand on this if he wants ...
  9. How many other people on the forum have been down a goldmine, by the way? Would be interesting to see! I have, starting when I was young. My family used to visit the Anaconda mines at Butt MT on our way west in the summers. I was just nuts about geology as a kid.
  10. I cant imagine 2 guys would make up a story like this. Too bad Ckret isnt here. I have no idea what futures in Iridium were doing in 71 but gold was about $35 an ounce. Since Orange worked in this area maybe she can fill us in on more ...
  11. If I'd gone online earlier, I could have told you that, 377. We know our PGMs very well down here in SA (Before I moved into finance per se, I worked at a company that at that stage owned the largest platinum mines in the world, as well as some very rich gold mines. I know my precious metals ) Try: http://www.finishing.com/274/75.shtml and here's one you might like. http://www.seed.slb.com/labcontent.aspx?id=10142
  12. Sweetheart I am a pauper by your standards. I haven't designed anything - just searching for the truth and some things have landed in my lap lately - they might turn out to be bird poop! Capers in a can - can you do that? I want the truth - what do you want in your can? I only got out 17 of the bombs, only one hit a target - no collateral damage, but I may have to go to WA to see the results. I thought I had posted about this - but, maybe I didn't. MY bombs had absolutely nothing to do with this recent information that is being posted regarding Mr X or Burnworth. If you communicated with me other than in this forum you would know about the Bombs - I don't share things with people I can't put a name with and face with. Provide me with an address by email and I will mail you one of my Duds. They need to be redone because of information one produced. You don't consider me a Cooper Sleuth - but, do I get one? Probably T-shirts with all of the avatars on it...why you wanted me to change my avatar! If you had no candidate (Duane) and hadnt stirred up so much grief, you would almost be likable. Hell I would even leave a bag of tomatoes at your door.
  13. Bruce came forward and profured a Mr X (who llives close to you!
  14. No, but he is trying to market something else from the Periodic Table. Oddly this same Burnworth (ex UAL pilot) is trying to sell Iridium, the element. http://www.finishing.com/274/75.shtml Arent you a physicist or physical chemist G? Tell us what this might mean. Go ahead and speculate, thats what we do here in the absence of facts. [Rarest of the rare: investing in rhodium, iridium, ruthenium, and ...The spot prices of platinum, palladium, ruthenium, rhodium, and iridium currently are set by Johnson Matthey twice each day for the American market. ... www.platinumgroupmetals.org/ - Cached - Similar pages] Remember Howard Hunt (The Hunt Bros. - Texas) and silver? Iridium is part of the Platinum group: see - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iridium small percentage in nickle meteorites and: [[Improve] The element iridium originates in stars. It is not a product of "regular" fusion (stellar nucleosynthesis), but occurs as a byproduct in post-iron nucleo-systhensis of heavier elements through a supernova event. Iridium on earth is rare in the crust of the planet. It is found in meteorites, like the big one that fell in the Yucatan some 65 million years ago. The massive blast scattered an ash layer that can be discovered in many places around the world today. If this sounds familiar, it probably does so because this impact is the cause (all or in part) cited for the erasure of the dinosaur from the chain of life on earth. Most iridium is recovered as a byproduct of nickel and copper refining. It appears in the muds of the processing tanks for these metals. In nature, it is found in gravel deposits with osmium and platinum abundant ores. About 3 tons is produced per year worldwide with Canada as the primary mining area.] See also: http://www.eso.org/public/news/eso0723/ Iridium appearing in the spectrum of a star can be used to help ddtermine a star's age -
  15. Take this for what it is worth: Association with Chicago Duane and I were the Sole Guests on a VERY LARGE yacht in the Fort Lauderdale/ Miami area in the 80's. I only told Himmelsbach and "friends" about this and the "other" little things or connections (private conversations). The following quotes from Wikipedia are: The manipulation and misuse of the Teamsters Central States Pension Fund. There were also allegations that The Outfit was involved in strong-arm tactics and voter fraud at polling places, under Salvatore Giancana in the 1960 presidential election. Along with the voting allegations, The Outfit was involved in a Central Intelligence Agency-Mafia collusion during Castro's overthrow of the Cuban government. In exchange for their help, the Outfit would be given access to their former casinos if they helped overthrow Fidel Castro (Operation Mongoose or Operation Family Jewels). Having failed in that endeavor, and facing increasing indictments under the administration of President John F. Kennedy (JFK), they are subjects of conspiracy theories regarding the JFK assassination, and that of JFK's brother Robert Kennedy. The Outfit controlled casinos in Las Vegas and "skimmed" millions of dollars over the course of several decades. Most recently, top mob figures have been found guilty of crimes dating back to as early as the mid 1960s. I have never spoke to nor communicated with Donald Burnworth, but my sources tells me that Burnworth WAS not arrested for anything in Connection with the Skyjacking of 1971. There are some things in Burnworth's story that parallel with what I have told for yrs and things I never made public . I had a conversation with one person who I related the yacht story to along with the other stories I told about "unusual" activities on the part of Weber and those stories have been repeated only to trusted individuals. I will say I do NOT believe Duane was a part of the Mafia - but he an infiltrator put in place in 1962 under another group - PROTECT - DO NO HARM. Believe if you wish he was the BAD guy - but whatever his assignment was or whatever he was involved in - continued until 1990...when he got his final payment. Burnworth's story leaked like a bucket of water with too many holes in it. Yet, there was some sediment in the bottom of that bucket that needs to be examined - he only had part of the story...but, discredited himself with most of his interview. Never state something about yourself in relation to a crime that is documental. Burnworth was NOT - in jail for 8 days in regard to D.B. Cooper...he may have been in jail, but he WAS not there as a Cooper suspect. There were as Sluggo stated lots of problems with his second hand interview, but he did state things that correlate with things I have stated and other things told only in confidentiality....I don't know where this is going, but I am waiting to hear the magic words. Who owned that Yacht? You are sophisticated. Will Chastity, Virtue, Yatchs, 377, Sluggo and YOU solve the Cooper caper? With or without X and Burnguy? And, will the end result of production put these capers into a can ... at an affordable price. ? Olive oil mafia style or Finnish dry? Or, as some 'theys, thems, and its' think, is this all desgined by 'you guys' to make you billionaires and th rest of us paupers? Also: your 16 week BOMB ALERT! you told us to lookl for is now months overdue in Washington. What happened? You keep talking about the BOMB you dropped? Did Washintonians miss it? What is this BOMB you keep talking about? Did you buy Lithium from Burnguy? Did Sluggo move to Lithium Futures? Does X deal in rare metals? Where does 377 fit into this spculation on Wall Street? Oh! New uniforms for certified Cooper sleuths is coming soon.
  16. ...why does X need a trump card? Bring Burnworth here - Tell X to go fish. On what date did the Cooper case become a Lottery, with Wise-guys and Wiase-gals hedging every bet?
  17. ...why does X need a trump card? and will X and DB be in Geof's book? It goes to what really happened in the investigation of the DB Cooper case and the type of suspects that were examined ... each represeting what theory of the case? How many X's and Burnworth(s) do you rationally think there were in this case? 15? 50? 100? 200? 400? 800? What types of people represented the other searches? X and Burnworth illustrate what some investigators were thinking in their profile of DB Cooper. We also have the theory of the 'foul mouthed nasty down on his luck Cooper, incompetent and possibly a food service worker'. We have the 'he knew just enough to get himself into trouble possibly a cargo loadmaster' type. One agent contrasts this with the skilled McCoy who had real military training and background. We have Jo Weber's profile namely Duane Weber. Did Cooper escape all typologies of searches and theories of the case, and if so why? How could one decide a question of this type if you wanted to know (which most people dont want to know!) ?
  18. http://www.google.com/webhp?hl=all using this link will allow you to use the “classic” google. At least in IE. For now.
  19. If that was their perspective, that would not surprise me at all. Thanks.
  20. Let's talk this weekend. Please read everything posted in the last several days, if you dont mind. I shouldnt be posting this here but will because I cant talk tonight or tomorrow but can on Sunday. All is OK here. Glad you are back. Thanks.
  21. I dont suppose he gives a firm date? Was it even in 1972? X said the agents said they had a lot of time and $$$ invested on Don - related to Cooper, the kid matter, or what? But if X and Don worked together say after 1972 whywould agentsgo to X at all, on what info? Again we need a chain of real dates to hang things on ... I dont quite accept Quade's nutcase theory - it might have been a nutcase agents were looking for and at! Has any hijacker been something other than a nutcase with a complicated life?
  22. immediately thereafter UAL fired Don, saying that he was a causing “adverse publicity.” He was denied all passes aboard UAL flights, and had to pay for his own passage to Oklahoma, where he returned to live with his mother. It sounds like DB was dismissed due to “adverse publicity.” related to his domestic machinations. He was reinstated after a Labor Relations hearing. It seems to me had his problem been an accusation re- being accused or under investigation for being DB Cooper, there is no way in hell UAL, the Labor Relations Board, his Union, or the FAA would have ever "resinstated" muich less permitted Burnworth ... to fly again. I am willing to bet the transcript of his hearing says nothing about an accusation of him being DB Cooper ... as per Mr. X's allegation/story. Anything of that criminal nature would definately have been exclusionary ... and front page news! Burnworth's military records can be checked - he either had the record X claims he did, or he didnt. Burnworth says he never parachuted at all - doesnt even know how and never did? Burnworth seems to be saying he was in Germany on 11-24-71 ? I guess we wait for our gossip columnist to feed us more psycho-sexual details... Was Burnworth, Barb Dayton?
  23. I don't fault Bruce for including all the details of the interview. It wasnt done for lurid purposes, but to give a full picture of who this guy is. The sex abuse stuff sounds suspicious. How could a person witness and photograph such abuse and not intervene to stop it and/or call the police? If you had proof then the perpertators would do a LOT of time in prison. Having proof and ignoring it just doesnt sound likely to me. 377 I do,. Its all heresay. No relationship whatever to the DB Cooper story! Bruce gets off on this kind of thing... all the time and attention to lurid gossip-details on Bruce's part could better have been spent getting dates and facts, or trying to. Bruce is no historian. He's a gossip columnist with a strong bias toward psycho-sexual drama. Eg. his Barb Dayton stories and now this story etc.. If Bruce ever interviewed Christopher Columbus it would be mostly re-Isabella & Ferdinand & children & cousins ... with ocean voyages completely omitted but lots of 'details'. . . !
  24. I also don’t get why the FBI released Don when his kids arrived in the States, particularly if they were in KC? Why is there a connection here, or influence upon the release from jail? It sounds like he did not have custody of the children when he took them out of the United States - that's a Federal crime. It appears that is why he was arrested, not for suspicion of being DB Cooper. When the children returned to the custodial parent she either didnt press charges or the Feds decided not to prosecute. No German Court had any jurisdiction in the matter. None of this has anything to do with DB Cooper. It is heresay so far from Mr. X that the Feds ever thought Burnworth was DB Cooper. If the Feds had ever seriously thought Burnworth was Cooper and they knew Burnworth was in Germany, they could have apprehended him in Germany and probably taken him to a US or Nato base ... back door extradition. The Germans probably would have cooperated and been thanked for their cooperation. But that did not happen, did it. You havent provided anything from Burnworth so far that indicates the Feds ever questioned him about the Cooper case? Maybe I missed that part .. Was it really necessary to include the lurid details of sexual abuse of the children, pedaphelia, and psycho-sexual drama in your report? Give us a break!
