  1. Could be because Cooper probably jumped here with all that money. Just a guess, though.
  2. Last, for some reason you were asked/requested/booted off or whatever removed from the Citizens Sleuth Team. My guess on that last one is 'does not work well with others'. There are some people armoured with the conviction that there are some things in Life not worth knowing about; as a consequence they end up knowing everything! Onset is usually during highschool, just as you describe. Blevins I left highschool with eight scholarships in music and two scholarships in science, to just about any place I wanted to go. I did not pick anything in the State of Washington because I just knew you and DB Cooper would be there - inevitably!
  3. Mr Blevins. This thread and others existed for years before you showed up, and the Cooper case itself for 37 years prior to that. Only an intellectual thug and a pompous ass would show up and try to tell us who we are, who we need to be, or who and what the Cooper case is, all based on some tired worn out story someone else had already done, ie. Kenny Christiansen. That is all there is to this, and to you. You havent reinvented the wheel! Any questions about Tosaw ask Galen Cook. He will help you!
  4. Here's a Big Truth about this thread: Everyone who has proposed a suspect here has had to answer questions, or have their claims investigated by others on this thread. Marla is no exception. I've been grilled (and corrected) on points, and so has everyone else. And she is the not the only one who has avoided the hard questions on this thread. Galen Cook is absent, for example. In my defense, when people have grilled me on KC, instead of bailing on those questions, I tried to answer, or to present what evidence I have to offer. I have never said I was sure that KC was the hijacker. Truth is, I just don't know if he was. I suspect it, but suspicion is not proof, and without a smoking gun than the idea of KC remains a theory only. "Here's a Big Truth about this thread." Your truth (of the moment), not ours, and not the truth of this thread! ? You neither speak for people here much less know what is in our heads! Any pretense on your part that you can read people's minds here reveals the fact you are simply an ideologist on the move - not a rational force. You have been in trouble over this central fact since you stepped foot here, after years of this thread already being a living fact and not a peep from RobertMBlevins - whoever he is!. (2) You have been "blasting" Galen Cook since you started here, for some reason. Its easy to keep attacking someone who isnt even here! All you are is a very jealous person, jealous of Cook and others. (3) "In my defense, when people have grilled me on KC, instead of bailing on those questions, I tried to answer, or to present what evidence I have .." Total lie. You intentionally ignored, stalled for almost a year, and finally refused to answer every single question put to you. You gave as your reason: "well you havent questions of mine"! That was a cute maneuver on your part - made me laugh because it defined your tactics. You show up here with a suspect and a book no less, and wont even answer basic questions, and fire back: "well you havent answered questions of mine?" ??? WHAT QUESTIONS!? You are the one with all the answers, you say! Mr Blevins you dont answer simple questions by attacking the people simply asking questions, and charging THEM with 'not answering YOUR questions'? That is the tactic of an ideological thug which has nothing to offer, in the first place. All of this nonsense ended a year ago, since you dont know! Its time for you to catch up with the rest of the world once again. Good luck with your Catch Up Symposium.
  5. I live in Seattle, so I'm planning to attend. I'd like to meet others from this forum. Even Robert. I want to thank you for your responses - which are perfectly clear. I will now remove my original poll question. Thanks. G
  6. What we have is Marla's story as others have heard it. There misunderstandings, misconceptions and sometimes just plain errors. She could have given the exact same interview to several reporters and there would be inconsistencies. As a result, I'm not ready to call "Gotcha!" every time something doesn't jibe. Pointed this out to Blev right at the outset of RMB's missadventure. He ignored it. He reveled in ignoring it - with slogans (the tough get going! build a bigger ladder)! Just as he did with Blast. RMB isnt about facts, but about social attention and market share which means social media. Turns out he isnt capable of anything better. Because: HE'S ON A TIGHT PRODUCTION SCHEDULE ands could care less about quality! Volume is all that matters to Blevins. Blevins assumes if you flood the market competitors will go away - and he's right! Especially here where the audience is captive. So he has basically taken over Dropzone and Quade let him do it! (Just as Jo Weber did before). People ignore this thread now or leave, or never come in the first place. Meanwhile very nice work is being done in the background by others, but it doesnt happen and isnt being shared here. Can't happen here because of the environment. Will you be attending the AB Books/Ayatollah Blevins Symposium ?
  7. I thought it was Sheridan Peterson that was supposed to be in Nepal in 71? Facts are now OPTIONAL here. Goals have changed. (Rather, new goals now dominate). Get ready for total anarchy.
  8. You know that I favour someone along the lines you do but smarter, strongest skills social vs technical, with stress induced borderline personality disorder. May have a decent education. Talked about hockey with Tina. Rides horses. Has no strong accent because he came from Edmonton, Alberta. Formed a singing duo - Ian and Sylvia. And his name is: Ian Tyson. Last I knew he lives in one of the suburns of Toronto. Monroe? Alberta.
  9. Georger replies: ONLY Blevins can gnarfle the garfunk! WE DONT NEEED SNOW! 377 stop asking - you have blevins! Blevins knows it when he "seize" it. Gag me with a silver Blevins! Or a silver Snow. Or a silver Blevins. Or a silver Snow. Or a silver 377 ........... whatever. Stop beating us with your tail! and the other thing in the corner of the room, too. Don't know why you bother to post on this thread. You never address any of the issues anyway, LOL. Your comments are approaching Peanut Gallery status, and if you are thinking about writing comedy for a living, I would reconsider this idea. Yes Master. Marla and I and (all others) shall obey.
  10. I am disappointed that some other folks on this thread have not researched her claims, instead of accepting them on their face. . ONLY Blevins can gnarfle the garfunk! WE DONT NEEED SNOW! 377 stop asking - you have blevins! Blevins knows it when he "seize" it. Gag me with a silver Blevins! Or a silver Snow. Or a silver Blevins. Or a silver Snow. 11. well Im not totaly sure they did buy his alibi. It might have been a legal-tactical decision to persue the one for prosecution without opening the other - They had him dead-to-rights on the one count which was enough to clsoe the door on him forever - Later. Is there any place to go with McCoy? He was only 29, didn't match the description and they must have checked his fingerprints against the ones they had. Is there any place to go with McCoy? I dont think so. I am not expert on McCoy - several here know more than I do about McCoy. McCoy was ruled out, so far as I know, on physical description, prints, & alibi supposedly. Ive always wondered if Cooper knew McCoy and just acted first after hearing McCoy shoot his mouth off about 'this could be done, that could be done'. Because it was McCoy telling an aquaintance that he could have (pulled off) the Cooper hijacking, that got McCoy apprehended. He made his remarks over coffee to a highway patrolman! McCoy is a case study in his own right, for those interested in that kind of thing.
  12. An amazing article, just amazing. Yes it is a busy night! Breaktime. Coffee on.
  13. McCoy is a great Cooper too. If he screwed up and lost the money in the first jump I can see him doing it again. The FBI bought his alibi though. I am not sure I do. 377 well Im not totaly sure they did buy his alibi. It might have been a legal-tactical decision to persue the one for prosecution without opening the other - They had him dead-to-rights on the one count which was enough to clsoe the door on him forever - Later.
  14. It may be exactly what I just described - Maybe the brothers were planning 'something' in any event - the record shows they did a few 'things'. Hyjacking planes was in vogue at the time. Lots of people talked about it. To an eight year old girl and a fractured family full of suspicions and doubts, not to mention incomplete awareness of each other, it might add up to: LD and Dewey did it! We know these guys were braggarts and made claims of things above their actual accomplishments and pay grades .... thisis why I wish Blevins had stopped short of launched a ful born attack against Marla and just let her talk! I mean who appointed Blevins protector-decider of the world? In the final analysis, Marla knows only what she knows. She cant know any more than she knows and Her power of invention is limited in any event. Blevins always jumps in and tries to control everything! Sooner or later it will be his undoing - In the meantime Marla is gone (from us at least).
  15. ...which is probably why Blevins doesn't want her there. She is his biggest competitor theory at the moment... competition - the heart of existence. from sub atomic particles to groups of galaxies and everything else in between - I wonder if Cooper's hyjack brought surprise from some competitor looking to take down the very same plane, same route, same opportunity ? It happens. He may have called the FBI up the minute it was announced and said: "Hey H. Its wasnt me!" Now that, I almost could believe.
  16. In 1971 after the news broke, every skydiver even close to the right age wanted to at least be a suspect. It was STATUS. I had been jumping surplus gear exlusively, had purchased a lot aircraft manuals including 727 and had travelled to Seattle right before the jump. No sale. no interest. I never got a visit from the FBI MIBS, darn it. I know my USPA file was looked at. Everybody's USPA membership records were examined. GURU is the only jumper who I know who got some FBI Norjack scrutiny. Many lied about being suspects. I dated the ex of a hotshot jumper who bragged about being interviewed extensively by the FBI as a prime suspect. She told me it was complete BS. 377 Be advised, before the suits show up at your door they usually have done some prior investigation so they arent showing up cold. Thats why it is called the federal bureau of . . . INVESTIGATION. Of course you already knew that.
  17. CORRECT! You win a stuffed AFLAC duck! I am glad I brought up the AFLAC duck - I knew it would be useful.
  18. Naw. The story has all the elements of possible veracity. _Opportunity. _Fits within existing profile(s) of manner & motive. _May fit some evidence. _Resolves missing person issue. _According to one witness the family was visited prior so an existing file? _Cooper comic. _semi formal referral.
  19. Yeah, but that evidence is in short supply. A door placard, an alleged Cooper tie and some rotted twenties, that's all we got. If someone can find me one of the lost FBI Norjak Cooper cig butts, I can get it examined and DNA sequenced free. Tom's tie-tanium finding is really the first bit of new physical evidence we've had in a lonnnnng time. 377 'cept nobody wants to discuss it here - Its been months since it was released.. So much technical expertise/genius here - so little progress! Or, so many propriety interests vying for position and dominance here, so little progress! eh? Have you got a comic book analysis? In what frame does Cooper go and trashing the galley? Who scripts the weather? In what frame is 727 mentioned? So much technical expertise/genius here - so little progress!
  20. uhhhh... at the risk of sounding like someone else, what on earth makes you qualified to judge this? especially given your own vested interest in the matter? I should be the moderator and roast each speaker after their presentation. Hindsight as good as it gets! Can I get a full body armor suit and can we hot wire Blevins? I'll hold the buzzer. It's a community event and anyone can attend in the audience. Admission is free. Speaker and vendor selections are a different thing. Those are pre-assigned. If Marla or yourself wish to show up to watch, you are more than welcome. Speakers get either fifteen or thirty minute assigned slots, their choice. An official program is usually made available online, and print copies are handed out at the door. This system has been used for the past several years. Now that would be a hoot! Although, I suspect some here would pale miserably in public when speaking. Some would come across as complete idiots and possibly insane too. Others would receive a sympathy nod, but not be taken seriously. "Talking" symposiums are great, but usually fruitless. A Symposium where physical evidence must be presented to get a slot, that would be beneficial. Matt Meyer can back this up but the usual method at conferences is papers (at least outlines) get distributed prior to a conference, giving time to assimilate and prepare questions for an expected presentation, then when the conference is held people are (more or less) ready to go - saves a lot of time and confusion ... ? There is always the chance there will be some last minute NEW data. Papers always get passed out late on the spot - thats normal.
  21. Do you have actual evidence this is happening - have you talked to the "true investigators" ? - or is this just another "I know it when I see it" hypothesis on your part? I mean Robt. Youve been wrong before. But I sense I am just wasting my time with you, again. You will do as you do, in any event. You will even cancel the affair, if you decide to. But dont cry fire, in a theatre! That will definately get you negative publicity of the permanent and lasting kind. Hey! Here's a new idea! BLAME ME FOR ANYTHING THAT GOES WRONG! I don't blame you for a thing. I'm not calling it off now, or anytime in the future. But I WILL hold potential speakers to a minimum standard of legitimacy. Call me a tough guy on it, but that's the way it is. This is a community event, it's not about me. And I'm not going to let my hometown down on it. They gave me this job and I have to do the best I can to make sure it isn't a circus, or used as someone's private promotion with motives other than discovering the truth on the Cooper case. Otherwise, what's the point? Can't explain it any better than that. As far as interest, I have about seven months left to fill nine more speaker slots. This shouldn't be a problem. Invites go out next week. The theatre is also the only place at Good Ol' Days where you can merchandise without paying the $250 city fee they usually charge the vendors. I'm openly inviting those people to show up with their stuff, or others who want to present their case with printed material. The Book Swap alone would get me to show up. You think organizing this is EASY? I'm giving it my best shot, though. As I said, you will do as you will do. That is a given. I am sure you will try as best you can. I think you and the people of Auburn have every right to set your own agenda. Thats my final word on this.
  22. Did you get my New Year's greeting?
  23. [while hurting the true investigators at the same time. . 24. Bruce, in your work on this case so far, with all the interviews you have done, have you picked up any anecdotes about the weather (in the V23 corridor) that afternoon and evening? Especially anything you would trust from reputable sources? Thanks, G. Thanks Bruce! This is good material. I was posting earlier but our net went down here - forgot maintenance was scheduled for midnight so Im sitting here typing and zap ! Back up now. Thanks. Galen is back in motion - after the holidays.
