  1. I think bias crime laws are bullshit. I know other "liberals" (by SC standards) who feel the same way. Is it possible that the vast conspiracy of liberals who all think the same way and want to take your freedoms is partly of your own imagining? I present this thread as evidence. I have also noticed that instead of discussing something, that many try and make it about the poster. Pretty much inline with the title of this thread.
  2. Sure. But I don't see many consrvatives wanting laws passed that offer special protection for groups. If you can't see what's wrong with that, I have no intention of spending the next few days putting up with the name calling, hate posts and insults from left wingers. Espescially given the history of unequal protection given here.
  3. Let's give them the gas chamber and then shoot them. Then we can electrocute them and then finally hang them.
  4. Not stereotyping if it's a true observation. This thread has proven it to be true.
  5. And thank you and the others in this thread for making my point that liberals think of people as templates. Pretty "un-Progressive" of you.
  6. Has nothing to do with being conservative. You do realize there are many left-wing Christians don't you? You know, like the President?
  7. Apparently you have not a very good grasp on what a hate crime is. Get back to me once you figure it out. Here's something to get you started: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hate_crime_laws_in_the_United_States Now go back and read what I said to Wendy.
  8. Note that's also true of a lot of you conservatives Wendy P. Yep, but we are far less likely to ask for a special status. What special status? Like being able to marry someone? Nope. How about "hate crime legislation as an example? And we aren't just talking about homosexuality. So your real beef is with hate crime legislation.. go figure. I have no idea why you think that's what I meant in a broader context. But yes, I oppose any group that wants special laws passed just for them. Assault is assault. Murder is murder. Why is it any more or less heinous just because someone identifies themselves with a particular group? Can't wrap your head around the rationale of hate crime laws? Again.. go figure. Can't wrap your head around the idea that thoughts shouldn't be legislated in a free society? That murder is murder? No surprises there. Give them the gas chamber for the murder and then hang them for the "Hate Crime? You will never find acceptance as long as you want to be treated as different by society.

  10. You keep your wife in the garage? How else do you expect her to keep the Harley cleaned and polished?

  13. Then you would be wrong once again. Problem with many of you liberals, which I constantly point out on here, is that you get a templated image of someone stuck in your head and think they conform to a specific template. I really couldn't care less how you get your rocks off. Just don't come to me expecting any special treatment.
  14. Happened a few weeks ago. I was awakened at 4am with my doorbell wringing. I looked out the bedroom window and could see someone was there but I had turned the porch light out when I went to bed. I grabbed my Glock and headed downstairs cocking it as I went down the stairs. I looked out the downstairs window and could see several people standing there. I turned the light on and opened the door slightly so I could see. I had the Glock behind my back with my finger on the trigger, ready for a confrontation. Turns out it was 3 Police Officers. They had recieved a call from a neighbor that someone had rummaged through their car and had been driving around the neighborhood trying to spot someone. Apparently my wife had let the garage door open when she took out the trash earlier in the evening. The Police saw the garage door open and walked up my driveway and saw that the wifes car glove box was open and it's contents dumped on the seat. I just said, "Hang on a second" and shut the door and put the gun into a hallway cabinet before stepping outside. I'm pretty sure they knew I had a gun in my hand, but they never said anything. I checked the garage and someone had stolen a spotlight I keep in there. Luckily that's all that was missing. My Harley was still there. That's the only thing in the garage I really care about. Well, that and my wife.
  15. The phobia part was invented because there are actually idiots around that think they should meddle in Adam and Steve's love life because they think it somehow fucks up their life. Exactly my point. Glad we agree. Live and let live.
  16. Are whites and blacks drinking from the same water fountain pop psychology to you too?
  17. The phobia part was invented as an attempt to put anyone who criticizes homosexuals, on the defensive. It's actually just stupid pop psychology.
  18. Great, now it's turning into a race war. ***Armed Neo-Nazis Now Patrolling Sanford, Say They Are "Prepared" For Post-Trayvon Martin Violence Neo-Nazis are currently conducting heavily armed patrols in and around Sanford, Florida and are "prepared" for violence in the case of a race riot. The patrols are to protect "white citizens in the area who are concerned for their safety" in the wake of the Trayvon Martin shooting last month, says Commander Jeff Schoep of the National Socialist Movement. "We are not advocating any type of violence or attacks on anybody, but we are prepared for it," he says. "We are not the type of white people who are going to be walked all over." Because nothing diffuses racial tension like gun-toting racial separatists patrolling an already on-edge community. Schoep, whose neo-Nazi group is based in Detroit, tells Riptide the patrols are a response to white residents' fears of a race riot. A group called the New Black Panther Party recently offered $10,000 for a citizens' arrest of George Zimmerman, Martin's shooter. Schoep said the bounty is a sign that "the possibility of further racial violence... is brimming over like a powder keg ready to explode into the streets." The patrols are comprised of between 10 and 20 locals and "volunteers" from across the state, including some from Miami, he added. He couldn't go into specifics on what kind of firepower, exactly, the patrols had with them. "In Arizona the guys can walk around with assault weapons and that's totally legal," Schoep said, referring to the group's patrols of the US-Mexico border. "What I can tell you is that any patrols that we are doing now in Florida are totally within the law." Asked if the patrols wouldn't just make things worse -- spark a race riot, for instance -- Schoep insisted they were simply a "show of solidarity with the white community down there" and "wouldn't intimidate anybody." "Whenever there is one of these racially charged events, Al Sharpton goes wherever blacks need him," Schoep said. "We do similar things. We are a white civil rights organization." He went to great lengths to contrast his organization with the New Black Panther Party, who he blamed for scaring local whites and spurring the need for NSM patrols. Schoep admits that the NSM and the Black Panthers are actually alike in that they are both racial separatists. But he sees a double-standard in the government's treatment of the two groups. "The Black Panthers have been offering bounties and all that," he says. "But if we called for a bounty on someone's head, I guarantee we'd be locked up as quick as I could walk out of my house." Schoep was also quick to clarify that he isn't taking sides in Trayvon Martin's controversial shooting. "That's for the courts to decide," he says. Besides, Schoep says, Zimmerman's not even white. "I think there is some confusion going on," Schoep says. "A lot of people think that this guy who shot Trayvon was white... but he's half Hispanic or Cuban or something. He certainly doesn't look white to me." To some, sending in the storm troops seems like a sure way to incite -- not prevent -- a race riot. But Schoep says that's way off base. "We don't wish for things like that," he says. "But there have been race riots in Detroit and L.A... So we know those types of things happen." "You can either be prepared or you can be blindsided," he adds. "This way, if something were to touch off a race riot, we'd already be in the area." How reassuring. http://blogs.miaminewtimes.com/riptide/2012/04/heavily_armed_neo-nazis_patrol.php
  19. It appears the police did not need much that conflicts with thier version of the nights events. One thing I am certain that will emerge, even if their are no arrest and convictions, the Sandford PD was a joke. The inability of the PD to do compedent investigation will be 90% of Zimmerman's defense. What qualifications do you have to make such a statement? Are you a cop? How many investigations have you run?
  20. That would have been the 60's and 70's.
  21. Pretty stupid decision by the casting director. I'm sure there are a lot of Republicans, Conservatives and former military, regardless of party affiliation, who will not pay to see the movie because they detest Fonda for her support of the NVA. It really has nothing to do with her acting ability. Jane Fonda has suffered her entire life due to her controversial stand against the U.S. I'll bet it does not out weigh all the free publicity. It's marketing smarts. Marketing and publicity does not translate into profits. I seriously doubt anyone who hadn't planned to see it will. I am also pretty sure that many people are offended that Hanoi Jane is playing Nancy Reagan and the negative publicity will turn them away.
