Of course, the Police would have to be in on the cover-up also.

Will Obamacare be Ruled to be Constitutional?
Gravitymaster replied to Gravitymaster's topic in Speakers Corner
Good points. That's why I started this thread. I have yet to recieve what I believe is a valid Constitutional reason as to why this should become law. -
A homicide has just occurred, the shooter is reporting that he has had his nose broken along with his head slammed against the ground. He was then placed under arrest, and not transported to a hospital. When your in police custody, the police, if for no other reason than to cover their own ass, know this and will take you to get looked at by an MD I don't believe he was evern placed under arrest. I believe he was simply detained for questioning. I don't believe the Police can force you to seek medical attention under these circumstances. keep in mind, he was checked out by paramedics. Well, there you have it. Because most cops are willing to wait until all the facts are in before commenting, this must mean they think the investigation was botchd.

Will Obamacare be Ruled to be Constitutional?
Gravitymaster replied to Gravitymaster's topic in Speakers Corner
There is a difference between somebody prefering to be homeless and somebody going on 700 ambulance rides. You may also be shocked to find that many homeless prefer to stay on the streets due to the thefts, altercations, rapes that go on in some of the shelters. However hard it may be to believe, they feel significantly safer on the streets. Taking 700 rides on an ambulance shows they are looking for attention/shelter. May also indicate some emntal disorders, which is very common amongst the homeless population. Sure, all of that is possible and I'm sure a lot of it is true. However, who are we to try and force them to seek help if they don't want it? -

Really? These guys just like to be homeless and take free rides on ambulances? As much as it may be incomprehensible, yes. They have refused help. There are people in this world who are actually fine with being homeless. Wait until they start fining and jailing homeless people for not signing up for Obamacare. -

Really? These guys just like to be homeless and take free rides on ambulances? Why do you find that so hard to believe? Many cities have to go out in winter and try and get homeless people to shelters. A great many of them refuse even when the temperatures are going to be very low, preffering to sleep on a heating grate. You must be a real country boy to not know this. -
It happens all the time with injuries that do not have the potential for a TBI. When a head injury happens, the police have a duty to transport. Not to mention to have all the wounds indexed for any future legal proceedings. It's been reported that paramedics checked him out at the scene and that he refused to go to the hospital at that time. Apparently, later he did seek medical attention. I'm sure all of this is well documented.

"Could-a" You mean *after* he could have self-inflicted some damage? Yes, I'm sure he had someone smash his head against a sidewalk and break his nose the next day as directed by the Police to cover up this huge racist conspiracy. Lots of things COULD have happened because the police work appears to have been very sloppy. I am not claiming to know what happened. I just think there are gaping holes in the "evidence". You haven't watched much boxing or MMA have you? People get their noses broken all the time and they continue to fight. It would be silly to stop a fight just because someone had their nose broken. The medical records are their if he sought medical attention the next day as has been reported. I believe a DOCTOR is always present at a sanctioned boxing event. Right, and it has been reported that Jorges was treated by medical personell at the scene before being transported to the Police Station. So what was your point again?

How is it false to call him Jorges?? Is it his name? No. Is George his name? Yes. OK 1 more time. MOST of the family calls him Jorge. Others call him George. Don't even bother. Some people have such a burning desire to be right they will literally split an atom just to prove it. I only started calling him Jorges because I knew it would cause this type of reaction from the usual suspects and I enjoy watching them make a fool of themselves over such a minor point in the desire to be right. A bit like spitting into a pond full of minnows. Works every time with some. Lame-O. What is the name on his birth certificate? Is it George or Jorge? Only one can be right. If you are able to read and comprehend what I just said you would realize I don't really care what his real name is. But please feel free to continue to provide the entertainment. Yes, you generally are casual with your facts. No surprise there. Nice of you to admit to the trolling. Thank-you for playing.

He sought medical attention the next day which could have meant as soon as he finished giving the Police his statement.

You started the thread. Why don't you give an opinion we can either agree or disagree with?

Without getting into whether you want a national healthcare program or not, can someone who thinks it will pass explain why you think so? -

well, that's the difference between caring about policy and caring about partisan politics. You're focusing on partisan politics. No, I'm focusing on the irony that Obama is having his argument against the mandate used against him. It may be that it's partisan politics but that's just a result of the observation, not the intent. -

I found it interesting that the Court is looking at and considering the same argument Obama made against the mandate when running against Hillary. http://harndenblog.dailymail.co.uk/2012/03/supreme-irony-obamacare.html -
Dude, You can't even get his name right despite about 10 prompting otherwise. I believe you have shown yourself to the most racist commentator on this thread. Your capacity to misunderstand is nothing short of breathtaking. Misunderstand what? What is his name? Yep, absolutely breathtaking. Tell you what dum, dum, get a good nights sleep and then try re-reading it in the morning. Thing will look different to you then.

I agree with others that the mandate will probably fail. Without the mandate, the rest of it falls apart. -
No, it's very likely he was only arrested because he's Hispanic. We all know how racist Florida cops are.

Since Obama and the DOJ have inserted themselves into this, I think it would be appropriate for them to speak out publically and condemn militias offering bounties. Can you imagine the outrage if the Minutemen of some right-wing militia group made the same offer?

This, and I would most likely call 911. Yep, no way would I attack them just because they were following me unless I already had aggressive tendencies. Heck, these days you never know who might be armed.
