At this point about all that's left is the racist card. People making this claim do so out of pure ignorance. For all they know the lead investigator is black. Something unusual happened. Hopefully we will find out before the lynch mob strings him up a tree.

Nice story. Only problem is the Police investigated and found no reason to charge Zimmerman. Oh, that's right, the Police are racists too. Well doesn't that just tie everything up in a nice little package with a red bow.

But he's done it once now and we all know the vast majority of serial killers are white so he fits the profile. It's really pathetic you are trolling such a tragedy. So you support people being arrested for crimes when the Police have no evidence they broke any laws? I wonder what the emotionally over-wrought would be saying if the shooter had been a black man arrested with no evidence.

You have no idea if any of that was a factor in this kids death. People need to put their emotions in check. It's amazing that not a single one of the emotionally charged hand wringers has called for the Black Panthers, Al Sharpton etc. to shut up, quit stirring things up racially and let this family grieve and let the Police and Prosecutor do their job. If this was a skydiving fatality, would these same people be here blaming the AAD, the rigger, the gear etc. until the facts were known?

I know the highly emotional people on here who have already tried, convicted and sentenced Zimmerman will find even more reasons to question what really happened. I think that if we give this enough time for the truth to come out that justice will be done. Another scenario: Zimmerman began following the kid. They exchange words. The kid approaches Zimmerman unaware he is armed. They exchange more words The kid swings and hits Zimmerman, knocking him to the ground. The kid jumps on top of Zimmerman and begins punching him. Zimmerman escapes and the kid comes towards him again. Zimmerman pulls his gun and fires. I don't know if this is what happened. It is an alternative theory just as valid as anything else that has been claimed.

I suspect there's going to be quite a few people who have posted in the thread that are going to be very embarrased they ran off at the mouth before the facts of this case were known. I for on look forward to serving them crow and watching them aquirm and wriggle as they try and deny that they jumped to conclusions.

Gee, why do some people ignore the fact that Obama is half white and only focus on the black half. Why is that? And a sane person would know that without following this kid, there wouldn't be confrontation or a murder. I find it strange that those who constantly remind us how important freedoms are, are not up in arms by the lack of freedom granted to the killed teen. Why was he not free to just walk around? Why was he not free to walk home? Please tell us exactly what happened since you seem to know the details.

That was no ordinary man who assaulted the homeless man, he was the son of a local cop. Everyone south of the MDL, knows that a small town, southern cop, is the best qualified person to decide if prosecution for a white killing a black is warrented. You do realize Zimmerman is Hispanic, don't you?

Let's see if there is even enough evidence to charge him before he gets dragged into Court and has to spend $millions to defend himself and the State has to spend $10 million to prosecute him. Unless you are willing to pay his legal fees
