  1. Can I do it faster on a desktop? How do I churn out a faster video? What kinds of times are others turning out? HELP? My videos are WAY better than the other videographers, but I'm not making any more. In fact, I'm making less because they can turn loads quicker than I can, I've just got the satisfaction that I'm turning out a nicer product than they are... Any thoughts? Just curious what are the other vidiots on your DZ using?
  2. Lucky you! She does not tour very often. My friends took me to see her For my 35th birthday. I love Diana Krall too.
  3. Don't forget the full dental plan after 5000 jumps! And you have to say goodbye to your girlfriend or wife. I said goodbye to mine years ago but she won't leave. She keeps hanging around to see the neat videos and pictures I bring home.
  4. Not the FAA, give your money to the AOPA. Didn't they do more for jumpers when the airspace was closed after 9-11 than the USPA did?
  5. So Mate how did you like the storm? BTW pleasure meeting you in Perris @ the chicks dock boogie.
  6. Everyone knows college physics is about tapping a keg properly without over foaming. Real aeronautic math doesn't come until you're working on your masters in it or your 20th handbuilt prototype airfoil section or simulated stress coupon. There is a lot of pointless masturbation with math referrences on here with some GPS plots for lubrication, blehgh! Then there is the real wingsuit erotica, real video of truely unimaginable things from authors like Loic, Yves Rossy, VKB and a handful of other back country wingsuiting folks. BTW very nice covershot Matt! Just think of all of the students having something worthy to be distracted over during lectures.
  7. Yes I heard it was trimed steeper than the lightning and even the tri. I can't wait to demo one!
  8. As long as its not bigger for so long you have to see your doctor.
  9. I am calling bullshit on the glide ratio and sustained 20mph fall rate 20 mph fall rate and you should be able to easily dock on some medium range canopys. I bet Luigi and Jeb are going to be pissed when everybody starts doing it.
  10. I don't care about fit as much as style anymore: I'm gonna get me an all white SM-1 and dress up like the Pope! "You can be the President, I'd rather be the Pope"! Father Sarducci Blue and myself will go around blessing all you sinners after the sunset load.
  11. [The fact that Chirgurh doesn't have the money with him when he kills Llewelyn's wife We don't know this happened she could have possibly won a spiritual coin toss if not an actual toss, I believe she was killed though. We also don't know that Anton recovered the money, only that he looked for it. When Llewelyn arrived at the hotel he didn't have the satchel with him. He only had something that looked like a gun case. This leads me to believe that the money was stashed and he intended to only tell his wife its location but he was prepared for a counter ambush but not really well enough.
  12. Show them the picture that you took looking down into the cockpit from above after nearly overtaking the van Jarno.
  13. Wasn't the seductress dead floating in the pool, whether she was part of the ambush or not, who knows? Shooting was done by the escaping mexicans not the hitman. The hitman was looking in hiding places for the money and prepared to ambush the sheriff who returned there in the evening but didn't..... and then was gone. The wife and mother ( who gave up their destination to the mexicans) never met up with him before he was ambushed by the mexicans. So she didn't have the money. He stashed it without divulging to anyone the location, or had it with him and the mexicans got it. The hit man visited the wife on principle not for the money she didn't have.
  14. The reason CReW disappeared here is that as canopies became more specialized Do we need to scrap the old F-111's in place of newer Lightnings? Quote I heard a rumor that there is the new PD CReW canopy soon to be released. I heard that will open softer and have a much better landing than the lightning yet be just as practical for CReW.
  15. Was that company bought out or did the owners move to Florida?
  16. (though jetstream winds up high could be the reason for them flying further up high) Yeah! If the rules called for them to do it from the opposite direction within a time frame like in land speed records, it would be fair to say they'd be flying backwards. I doubt they would make it back to the point on the ground below the exit point.
  17. Me neither. Would love to play with the skyray or the rocket man type wing with the principle's support.
  18. Yep ! and Not only that It would be interesting to actually have the hard data on actual exit and opening coordinates for any of the claimed records, wingsuit, hardwing or otherwise.
  19. The english channel crossing wasn't in a wingsuit. It was in a custom carbon fiber solid wing.

I'm pretty sure thats the universal language for " it tastes like chicken". Matt has a clip of the sound bite.
  21. Interesting, A few years ago I got a home duty mechanical Phaff. Most of the stuff I do I use #69 upholstery thread, Which the sales girls said would be fine. At the first service inspection the repairman said the thread is way too thick for continued duty in a home machine and the tension was way too high, that I had bent some parts and would wear the thing real quick. He recommended mercurized thread and double stitching. I'm not doing harness work, just some FF shorts, hook knife sheaths, jumpsuit repairs, replace velcro. None of the work is on rigs or wings and all of it is low volume. What is the solution? Any other thread/ operating options? Ditch the home duty?
  22. I don't think poor performance is one of the reasons new jumpers are discouraged from jumping wingsuits. Dave Dieing on a skydive can be considered poor performance. In reference to my example I'm not just referring to glide ratio. I'm talking environmental awareness, stability, navigation, group awareness, control, textbook deployment not to mention a health glide ratio. This guy had everything a coach would typically spend a few hours and more than a handfull of jumps to cultivate without so much as reading the suit manual.
  23. Who would that have been Glen? Ed Ditto. Is that someone on the team? I smell witch hunt! It doesn't matter who it was. Did you catch the part were I say I don't recommend it? Did you read and comprehend the part were I say most of you guys can only pretend to know what happened in some of the wingsuit fatalities?
  24. neehh..just russians, impatient people and a few dead guys... Athough there is not one good reason to get into wingsuits before 200 jumps ( approx) experience there is not one fatality that is a verifiable result of low jump numbers. I was even present ( not by my choice or design ) to a guy with barely a hundred jumps first flight, and the following handfull of the day to follow, where this green jumper outperformed some of the so-called BM instructors that are on the precious factory roster. Just another lesson from the "life is not fair" paradigm. Be well advised I'm not remotely advocating early flirtation with wingsuits. I'm just beyond overly saturated with BS rhetoric and more than a server full of conjecture blame storming when things go bad.
  25. I do like your presentations, but damn your sound track I gotta get that on disc!!!! Its bang'n!
