You mean the cobalt is a rebranded alfa or space.

Shouldn't you be crafting instructional videos, animating awesome graphics parleying the possible future of 3 dimensional wingsuit competition or if all else fails seducing one of those toned legged Ice skating-bike riding blonde locals? Community service or sumptin? Why? WHY? do you need to post this stuff?

Two stupid question to women experienced in wingsuit flying:)
VectorBoy replied to Hagen's topic in Wing Suit Flying
Chuck is the devil, there's even a T-shirt, He is not the devil! He is a fransican priest. Sometimes he brings the "wingsuit inquisition" the work of the vatican, not the devil. -
I half expected her to go into he devil went down to Georgia with Primus on one side and michael Manring on the other.

Does your sled have enough power for the extra gear? Does the ducky Chuck Blue still have his Buell? Chuck Blue does not perform Ruin, he may enable those in his presence to ruin them selves if they are not pure of heart and strong will. Chuck will ruin the weak and reward the strong.

The scenery was gorgeous so my theory is some people were distracted by the sights. Quote Speaking of the sights some very attractive red bull spokes models were at Perris on Friday handing out free drinks. They said they were gonna come out on Sunday too....... That they were there for the chicks rock boogie. The guys pointed out and introduced them to most of the girls doing the big way CReW camp but just didn't have the heart to tell them they were lost. I did tell them that the organizers had changed the name of our event to Girls dock boogie. I love lost spokes models!

Wing Suit Flying from a pilot's perspective
VectorBoy replied to rmahoney's topic in Wing Suit Flying
Yes its a jump. -
For years I told people to try and keep the cables in an orientation that would not let them sit in a kinked position for a long time. A kink might make it harder to pull the wing cut away cables. I preferred to keep the cables on the body side and omit a wingtab if I could so there is less cable zig zag. Its funny but the PF suits almost mandate you omit a body tab for most users, unless a miss match of rig-suit size-body size require you do otherwise, but, the major design difference is that the tabs are twice as wide now. This gives the cable more support. What was previously a potential for a tight zig~zaged cable allows for a gentle radius. For what its worth I can reach the cable handles on all the suits that I own that have that system, even the ghost, whether on the ground or hanging in the harness.

Lets be clear I didn't bag on two events. With the mother in law in Oregon at the time I never intended on entering the state. Besides last time I was too slow in my Acro or too fast in my Vampire. Yes, the wrap was worth it! I got a picture of it here that would give most jumpers the heebe de jeebedus. -

Damn, I really sorry I missed this event but there was somethings I had to wrap up down here. Really nice shots! That black and purple ghost looks real good. Sorry I missed you James,.... and the Lodi flock. -
Are you talking the red Brandy, formerly from fear factor, one of my favorites?
-
Hog Flop flockers, who's going to be there?!? (Nov 9-12)

Chuck, shes kinda white, real tall as well Any signs of an adams apple? That sound like the kinda thing that Heffro would pull. -
How high where you pulling when you used the cables ? Do you think you could have used zippers instead ? Tanx! & Blueskys !!! P. Smurf In most cases I was around or below 2k, for example, once due to being at a venue where pulling above 2 was verbotten and unsafe. Once I was just plain low. Twice I had zippers stick due to the sharp angle I was trying to make them work at or the tab pulled off. No rush in each of those cases altitude considered but very nice to have the option. In fact I don't consider cable cut aways on a wingsuit an option. I'm just not suicidal enough to jump one without.
-
Why don't you just make the cable cutaway an option ? I've got over 1,000 jumps on my BM classic and never had to use the cables. When I order my new suit from ya, I'd prefer just the zippers. I never used the cutaway cables on my classic either but have used them on bigger suits like the S3 and Matter. The SM1 also has a lot more wing surface than the classic.

Actually its common for a pilot chute in tow to be able to pull the main once the reserve is out. The pressure is released the main closing loop gets loose. If the main bridle isn't fully trapped and whats left of the PC has enough drag -two out- you got CReW.
-
You reached up to the opposite toggle to release it with your arm still in the wing? Thats the only way to "fix" a brakefire. Or are you saying you temporarily neutralized the turn? That would be very hard if someone was very heavily loaded like a few wingsuiters are. And for those that want to fly the suit in the BASE environment it would prevent dealing with line overs, having to fly the canopy backwards from a near wall strike.
-
The last couple of pages of this tread should be spun off into a separate tread.
-
My cuttaway procedure is the same whether in a WS or out. The only time I need to detach the wings are if I need to deal with twists or a brake fire. Some twists you can just grab the risers low just above the links and make things good but a brakefire requires a longer reach. I have personally seen a very pro wingsuiter futz with a twisted main way to long and finally go to his reserve lower than he should have only to find it equally twisted up bad and low. The very positive wing cuttaways on his BM suit was the only thing that allowed him to save himself.

Should Gay Purple Mike be in charge of 3.5?
VectorBoy replied to Capricorn1's topic in Wing Suit Flying
That vid is as bad as the butt song vid that Walt kept posting in the bonfire. I see the Mike~nick resemblance though.
