  1. Yes its now all about flying inside one side of the Porter and right out the other side while the pilot gives you the thumbs up! Pretty much everything else has been done.
  2. The big trick is that unless the tube mouth is a few yards back from you half of the opening will be half in your burble. If the tube is a few yards back the bridle for the tube gets much more complex in design. The mouth may need to be like the belly scoop on a p-51.
  3. Hey I just don't want the guy to get deported or have to marry someone from the gaybay to keep from getting deported. Don't you care about our sport?
  4. Hey, BASE jumpers like to keep their names out of it Hero.
  5. Why not flat spin contests? Two at a time spin it up, first one to recover is eliminated. Think roller pigeons with rigs.
  6. How bout two or more wingsuiters towing tubes in a steep downward trajectory, like the atmonauti, to overcome the drag of the tubes. The contestants would have either a timed course for speed or creative block of circling the gates face to tube or performing a trick like barrel rolling-front looping before reversing direction past the gate or tube. If course this concept is wicked evil dangerous and would get you banned from most DZs. In fact I should be excommunicated just for expressing these Ideas in an open forum. Oh and I think the tube mouth should have an asymmetrical opening to stay inflated and definitely a cut away. Did I mention the tube cut away?
  7. I wasn't there when she made those brownies... but she claimed that she used her breastmilk. And yes, she did tell people. Most of us thought it was gross, but surprisingly, some people actually tried them. Hey a brownie is a brownie! Where is your feminine sense of chocolate? I would just stick it in the micro for a few seconds, scoop a double of vanilla on top with a squirt of whip cream, drizzle more chocolate syrup and scatter some crushed nuts around it. I think the few seconds of micro would kill most boobie bacteria and the ice cream would drown any survivors. Thats not a sticking my toung out smiley- its licking its lips.
  8. Same Plane from inside. Not the best pic but gives an idea on 2 open doors. I had to choose which way to go It was fun taking WS jumps out of each side a it made for a faster get together and flock. Scott C. You could have done doug one better and flown through the porter instead of just back into it.
  9. Both you and Scott put your phantoms up for sale before the wingsuit weekend. So in essence the both of you were testing too.
  10. While the main goal is to have fun, we want to build complete formations, do muliti points and muliti level formations. Flying your slot on these weekends is essentail and required for success. Demoing, trying out or testing a suit that you are not used to flying isn't something I'd recommend on a formation you want to complete....... Ed That is precisely why Ira has just stayed with the tried and true and didn't demo the ghost. He didn't want to get any demerits. I'll admit I was completely guilty of using the WWW in May as a testing ground, had I gone this time around I would have been just as guilty trying a ghost in an environment different than the smaller ways we do down here. So its fair to say that the guys with phantoms did OK transitioning to the ghost for the weekend and the formations didn't suffer? BTW thats a nice looking Ghost color scheme.
  11. Who was in the black and purple on the left of the second picture Scott?
  12. I have no idea what you are talking about. I pretty much stayed drunk the entire time I was at Cornell. And for the record I'm a fan of every suit Robi designed, even before PF.
  13. Just curious, Does anybody know the "cut" that skyride charges % wise? Or are their prices already inflated for to account for the coupon above what they have to reimburse the DZ for the services?
  14. How did the ghost perform in the lodi type flocks? I'm really bummed I didn't test it there, kinda the whole point. Ira kinda regrets not demoing one from James. Does it work better than the phantom for the type of work there?
  15. I was gonna start mellow than escalate slowly. Don't think I'm not drinking!
  16. ...or is it just the pic ? Its hard to get inflation when a large armadillo is blocking the vents. Or maybe he is really arched to stay down and back with the tonys that inflation suffers.
  17. Yup, I agree backfly pressurization is very good. I ,sadly, didn't make it up to the Lodi wingsuit weekend where I could have put the suit to some serious testing.
  18. First off nothing compares to the vampire for me. It is what flying should feel like. The feeling of speed, of deceleration on shut down. It is to wingsuits what every well piloted x brace is to the high performance canopy landing. And I hear thats very popular. For me it wasn't very hard to transition to the V2 from my S3. It can do every thing the S3 does except fly slow and it does everything else much better. The ghost is nowhere near as fast as a Vampire but nothing is! If your flocks don't move along the Vampire will fall out of them ( which leads me to believe that every snide remark about vampire pilots going low on flocks says more about what the flock as whole , not the vampire pilot, is lacking ) I don't have that much experience on the ghost and I'm not positive what demographic its designed for. Is it designed for floaty flocks giving it more range in the lower end of the polar? Is it an Acro for heavier dudes? I like the ghost a lot for day to day small flocks, but don't have the experience of big way style flocking in it ( this will be rectified ). So others can give better feedback than I can in this respect. And lastly I don't BASE.
  19. Tell me about the DVD player I thought that the old one was limited compared to other systems out there.
  20. My cinematic prowess didn't make enough frames. Most of the footage was by others, I just compiled it. The bulk of shots were from different people than last years. Last years jumps were less disciplined and more frolick-y. This time things look like we did the same formation over and over..... because thats what we did. But you..... you dirty man are all over it! Lets just say your avatar could be the promo poster. Pm with shipping address and its yours.
  21. I "hate" you for the great beach jump, the boogie whoring that I am not able to swing right now but don't worry, that hate can just be looked at as intense jealousy.. Have some great floves and get the landing thing right.. Scott C. There is no reason to hate Scott. In fact he should be jealous of you as you are featured in the first heart beat seconds of my boogie video from May 07. Get yours now!
  22. I personally invented wingsuits ten years ago. I don't ever remember inventing wingsuit instructors. I believe that was the stringent work of telemarketers or televangelists.
