  1. If not, maybe we can get this guy to build us one? From the description of his preventative maintainance abilities I wouldn't let that guy build me a corn dog.
  2. Can't they just use the lasers on the space shuttle like in that Bond movie?
  3. basically if the surface area and size of grind is to large or small it can lead to too much or too little extraction of coffee essence I know burr grinders grind to specific grind as adjusted regardless of other factors. But with the standard grinder you vary this courseness with the time spent grinding. Same results different method of arriving.... no?
  4. Are you sure one try is an extra on terminal? Or a stand alone movie? I don't have my copy of terminal here. But you are right the flyer pulls it off.
  5. This thread has gone to shit, sorry to the OP..... Yes I apologize also to the guy with 85 jumps that wants a vampire as a first suit. i'll give him mine on the condition that he stands up 99.9% of his landings.
  6. Ed > I think she is wanting a lap dance from you if she wins, Glen. She has been practicing alot...... Kriss > You know the lap dance is from Ed, not me....he's been practicing So the bet is on! Glen > Have you guys been practicing on each other? Do I need to have Bill or Kathy keep a watchful eye on the otherside of those lockers?
  7. He is not the one challenging me to an accuracy contest you are. He is not the one, who in a previous life was a dancer, you were. He is not the one who is HOT for me, you are. Hey exactly what kind of accuracy were you meaning? I presumed canopy but you might have devilish intentions young lady.
  8. how it grinds also effect how the coffee tastse so not ANY grinder will do Please elaborate?
  9. seems kind of non-romanticQuote Unless you are the mistress
  10. If the stripper is going to get aggressive with the customer
  11. I'm just giving credit where it is due, you invented it, you should be able to name it. I love you man, seriously!
  12. Well, it's official. Skydiving is dead. We used to have a technique to do what this devise does. It was called spotting. It might come in handy in verifying that a group does not fly the wrong way during a Furnarimonauti jump.
  13. To my knowledge there havent been a ton of "not being able to outfly the terrain" issues. Some problems that occur is pilot chute towing in the burble when you are already pulling low, and a lack of ground rush as in normal base jumps causing the jumper to pull too low. Right off the top of my head I can think of three WS/base Fatalities that fit the outfly discription. But there hasn't been a ton total, just too many.
  14. But writing posts on DZ.com won't help much.. (but it does pass time at work) Lead by example. Yeah I'm still waiting for that fantastic discovery, clever invention, stylish accessory specific to wingsuits from you that is going to "revolutionizes" my flights.....and all we get is blah, blah, blah.... I know you can do it Yuri because I can tell you are crazy brilliant! But you have no time to waste on DZ.com like the rest of us rotting vegetables. Get busy! Get on it! Do a trick!
  15. But most of those involve trying to out fly the terrain. An otherwise perfectly stable flight without enough clearance. Just not enough glide angle to deploy safely.
  16. Nice video Scott. I really like the caution tape tickler. Was that Diego in the purple and black phantom?
  17. Is it due to the way the canopy is deployed i.e more horizontal than us vertical deployers? Or is it due to a better training system? And you can definitely throw out these two also. Its pretty safe to say that wingsuits place the most demands on the deployment sequence than most other types of skydiving. And there is a gag order on discussing that second sentence in this forum.
  18. Glen wouldn't combust, but his wife would. Either that or get a new set of furniture for letting him off his leash with her permission. Eloy would cost at most a new coffee table. Spa or empuria would be a whole new dinette set ( whoa I got some girls yelling at me how to spell dinette set correctly) so then I can't go there.
  19. Lou can I be in your event if I promiss not to make faces at jarno if he promisses to not make faces at me?
  20. James I can't believe you let that guy fly your cessna. Very nice viddy
  21. Actually, I know a girl that gets in the formations 99.999999% of the time, and almost never stands up her landings. Flying a canopy has nothing to do with flying a wingsuit. Hey I know that chick! She has really nice vortex generators, but she is STILL off my personal WS demo list until she lands stand up 99.99999% of the time. Exceptions ,exceptions there are exceptions all of the time for the rest of you learn to land yur dammned canopy. This may save your life!!!! If you don't you better except some fabric grindage on that expensive wingsuit. There is no excuse wingsuit compatible canopys are real docile and forgiving.
  22. I realize this when I am jumping with Ryan Scarlett who weighs over 300 out the door. when he is flying along he is level with the horizon and I am at a much steeper angle but we are both flying the same path though the sky. Ryan is obviously staying aloft under the airdynamic rules of the lifting body. Were they design the longer curvature of the foil on the bottom instead of the typical top of the foil. I could spam this thread with an ass-load of useless math and dead end links but I don't hate anybody on these forums nearly enough to do it. But if you care you can do a search of lifting bodies or flying bathtub and you will see some cool stuff! Two minute flights from 12,000 feet kind of stuff. Specially you Ryan. Tubbers can fly too!
  23. [. My Mooney has a laminar flow wing, and it's not anywhere near supersonic. Your mooney only has laminar airfoils so that the fuel tanks don't leak. Which model is that? How are the tanks? Got the bladders installed? One of my favorite X-country gen airframes BTW.
