That doesn't look like a crab.

Now that is some next level stuff. Yes it is!

Your girls opinion, or yours? If only I could get my girl to shoot video.

I bought a classic from BM with stress wear just like that but in the leg portion if the wing area. I put 50 jumps on it over a year, did at a minimum 100 first flight courses and many subsequent loaner flights for another two years as a result. Then sold it to someone after their first flight on it and the damaged area has yet to progress beyond the initial. You may just want to watch it for a while. It might just be a non issue. Def a non issue when you have a few more suits from shinny new to well broken but still loved and the GTI is used strictly for your buddies first flights. Don't sweat it is what I say. You can revisit the worry after some of your buds have grass stained the knees doing dead-mans or that chick you loaned it to slides in on her ( you suits)butt and does a little grindage. For now enjoy the suit, fly it very very much! Worry about your capability not the suit cosmetics. Thats how you get your money out of it.

Is it bad that all i want for my b-day is skychicks flashing me?
VectorBoy replied to Viking's topic in The Bonfire
Nuthing bad with that but think big .When I was your age I wanted as a minimum a little russian, a little asian, a little dine at the Y, some cow girl and then reverse cow girl, and then some multi. If that sounds like an add and it sounds expensive its because it is but its your birth day dammit. Let your little birthday man and have some manfun. -
Why the hurry? First, that wear & tear isn't really damage its just wear. Second, its only cosmetic. it will not effect any aspect of your flight and pictures or video will not ever capture it as it is hidden under your rig. My guess is that the wear area will not propagate any further for at least a couple of hard jumping seasons. No rush. Unless its up for resale. Balloon ZP is the material that ZP wingsuits are made of, like your GTI. Since the damage area is a non pressurized area of the suit you can use F-111 if the square mesh has the same aspect ratio or pattern.

Our CReW team camera guy needs a new line set for his Tri recently. Its his only main. Besides video for us he does casual 4-way RW and tandem video I really recommended all Dacron but he was fearful that my basis was strictly so we could dock him. It was hard to convince him that wasn't even a reason I recommend dacron.

Hey, I know brigette! She sent her order in weeks ago, don't forget her magnets.

So, if you're not doing CRW and just want best performance and lowest pack volume, use Spectra. If you're going to do any CRW, use Dacron. Kevin Uh actually Kevin Dacron doesn't pack that much bigger than spectra. I know guys that get their Spectres and Stilettos relined with Dacron knowing the owners will never CreW. Dacron is an under appreciated skydiver commodity in terms of lines. It isn't just for CReW any more

How come no kung -fu Campos? How come you didn't get the SUPER M-1?
-
For what? What do you do with it? What size and wing loading? How long do you want it to last before your next reline? And remember your options are all spectra, spectra with Dacron center and outer A's for casual CReW and my favorite all Dacron.

Looks like he is ascending

From exit and getting to the formation, flying off of the base, to breaking off in the right sector. Unfortunalty alot of people that put on a wingsuit at 200 or so jumps, never feel they need to learn any other discipline. Agree, and I highly recommend ATMO as the other discipline!

I'm not sure what you hate about Triathlons, but mine open nice, fly good in CRW, and land well. What else do I need? I can see where the reputation of brisker openings and not as good a flare as a spectre or the new storm would be a negative for an ALL around canopy. But with proper packing the Tri isn't that hard on opening ( concede not as good as the spectre ). Plus the 4.0 brake mod helps the bottom end, even though some canopys do this better. But in the words of a well respected canopy pilot with over 20,000 7-cell jumps who said "jumpers have forgotten how to land 7-cell canopys over the years" This inspires me to really nail the fundamentals that a lot of wanna be canopy pilots are talking about, on my tri, The ones that can't stand up their reserves because of drastically different fundamentals compared to their zippy 9-cell mains. Its mainly a WingSuit main where the local trend is flying F-111 reserves for mains. Its got the three rings and all dacron lines for some casual CReW. I've really come to love it and you can get them dirt cheap. It is by no means the most demanding to land canopy I have. I have a couple of lightnings and someone just loaned me an AR-7 to test jump.

Troll, Do you have any idea how much talent is required to enter a flat spin on command, while someone is watching? Whats your next trick?

Imagine trying to board a jumpship dressed in that back in 1999.

Your Favorite Wingsuit Location Visuals??

Formation flights with a KC-135, C-17 or T-38. -
Whatcha think Marge? Well for one, around here we don't call it the winged coveralls. We call it "jumping the cape".
-
Yes, some people think its killing free fly.
-
Sure, call me Marge for short.
-
you started shaving your legs, .......... I'd be the guy that still called you Glen. Got it?
-
Don't be a hater! Just because you didn't invent it like...... But back to atmo before wingsuit question, yes its a splendid idea. Lets face it some of the big way stuff is pretty steep anyway. Yes it should be mandatory. It should be mandatory before you get a D license. I love the Atmo its groovy!!!

Don't ya mean rotations?

I have no idea where you get the idea that I do not slow down but it is entirely incorrect. Mike Mullins King Air Pilot with 30,000 loads flown Relax I'm not talking about you guys. I'm talking about that other mullins with that real fast K air.
