  1. Here is an original classic keeping up with a tall guy in a vamp, well actually a flock of various modern big wings. Its on its third owner and I can bet you real money none of the previous owners ever flew it this well. The pilot does not get to fly it much but does a fantastic job when he gets a chance.
  2. True, but he'd probably smoke you in an Intro as well....... Hey lets not turn this into a size war, K?
  3. Weak quality control inspired this sad picture.
  4. The tighness on that formation puts all previous claims to 'tight' formations to shame. Even the two 'stray' birds are flying within a proximity most current bigway 'records' can only dream off. Do you think that FAI will recognize them, being locals and such.
  5. The XS is an awesome suit, and people will see that when they have a chance to fly with Jeff or fly one for themself. I just want to keep the brand wars out of this thread. Mmmmkay? Well lets not forget that Jeff is very skilled pilot and an awesome factory ambassador. I'm sure if Jeffro and I swapped suits it would be equally humbling for me.
  6. They are so rare there were none left to install in your suit until the expedition gets back from middle earth with the raw materials. And the cables too, they are so exotic that they were stuck on one of the really small and overloaded boats from cuba along with the packing tape.... uh oh I mean cuban fiber/cuban cables. Then there is the stitching...... well begezzus I really can't explain the stitching they left out unless its because Jari is busy getting the old band back together to tour. God I loved Duran duran growing up.

  8. Oh come on, you know that third wish would have been death to america.
  9. What suits were Damien and Scott wearing, I hear Damian is 6.6 and 170 pounds, correct? Yes he is but to be fair there were a couple of very tall and thin guys that did not do so well and were 1st third of the pack. Damien has a lot of skill and not just a size advantage. But in the case of Scott, well Tony I have to hand it to you, those are darn nice suits, as we've all know for a long time Scott has absolutely no skill what so ever. It must have been the suit........oh and that he cheated and didn't pull at three like #1#2#4#5 did.
  10. What else do you consider as flying as bigger? I don't really think that would be a sizing issue. Its a more stable, more rigid: 18 top panels! and more efficient wing. Atair USA would say that it flys bigger so that you might demo one size smaller than your current wing its a marketing gimmick used by more than one manufacturer's demo clerks. Of course a slightly higher wing loading is going to feel peppier than what you currently have. They are not the only ones that said to me but they are the only one that put it in print on the website. For what its worth Atair USA has moved on to focus on the military side of business and they are not telling anybody how big to go or what pilot chute to use anymore. Atair in slovenia, the real developers of the cobalt have moved on to their latest offering the radical. They also have some nice BASE stuff.
  11. You know next year after Jeff makes Damien a factory pilot Jeff won't get the money ever again but neither will any of us by an even greater margin than before. Its not about the money, not for me. Its about the glory and the thrill of victory, then .........there is the agony of defeat.
  12. He is just being a sore middle of the pack rabble rouser.. Scott C. Cheater.
  13. #1 pulled same time I did same altitude several hundred feet in front of me. #3 was low pull ( 200-300 feet) several seconds later. I could have beat that distance if was not for for my upstanding honor. Thats why its good to know who the follow up numbers are just in case there is a DQ who violates honor system hard deck. Just saying.
  14. Sooooo, who did win? #3 pulled low and cheated, I'm just saying.
  15. Cobalt downsides, not very popular, does not hold resale value in US. I've never had a "two stage" opening on one ( only on an alpha did I experience true two stage). Replacement line sets have to be fabricated by local knowlegeable riggers they are hard or impossible to get from the factory. This alone makes some people loose faith in the product. Cobalt upsides, flies fantastic, very soft ( like a spectre)openings, fantastic bottom end flare. Better than everything in its class except for maybe the X-fire. Very stable. another up side is that they are not very popular you can purchase them cheep used with much life left in them ,more life if you don't mind getting a line set made by a handful of local riggers. The word is that the cobalt is a stilleto with re-adjusted lines to put the center of balance closer to center under the canopy to tame the spin out of the spinetto. Another thing you should keep in mind is the mentality that if its not PD or Icarus it is shit. Half the people that told me they don't like the cobalt admitted they have never flown the cobalt. Very few people like the US factory. Most people like factory line sets. If you can try one used you should and then you can decide. If you plan to buy new look at the x-fire at the same time.
  16. Great weekend. Had a nice slot specific formation at the end that hopefully Avery or Jeff will post some grabs from. Pretty excited about some up coming tonysuit products as well as some non OEM products to modify existing suits. Attendees displayed disciplined canopy pattern work. It was nice to meet some new faces.
  17. 5 jumps by three separate groups as we had to share one otter between 30 wingsuits..........oh yeah and the speed/distance challenge with 13 competitors in it so six jumps.
  18. Got a bit of a late mid day start. Six jumps on the dz, 18-24 exiting 10-12 in tight, typically. One reserve ride who was back in the game after sitting out a couple of jumps during the repack. Evening demo into Ed's ranch very nice jump as always. Today we should have a bunch more people and a little earlier start.
  19. Rolf Harris' Version is Da Shit There is an album of nothing but SWTH done by NON traditional players it's GRATE Sqeakster, I looked him up " is it any wonder".... nobody took that sheet away to cut his throat with? How can you compare that with a latino elvis impersonator backed by a funky reggae band? yes i meant grate
  20. Ah Oh, better bring my body armor. And my clown mask. body armor is no use against the packing weight treatment funny boy.
  21. I'm not that confident in your skills. I'm surgical bro, but smart move for CQ I love the short barrel shot gun. But no! you don't need armor. Some of my bestest friends ever are I's of one brand or another. Frauds, clowns and showboats are different story.
  22. There is a white chaulk stick they sell in asian stores that the ants will not cross the line drawn with the crayon. Don't know what is in it but its probably toxic as hell. One line works all summer.
  23. Nope, it will be for the random gun fire. Gotcha, bring my own heat.
