05' pwr book, FCE and a little experience with 05' I movie. Is that enough? Or is it 3 years behind the power book curve for AVCHD? Not a lifestyle issue. Lifestyle is about knees in the breeze. Gadgets and gizmos are here today and gone tomorrow.

We jumped the tube at night and lit it up from below. The tube and light bar is out because the bar won't throw much light up into the tube. So you won't see any logos. The bar with two jumpers and a deployable recovery drouge sounds good but enlist the help of knowledgeable riggers that do or have done just that. The skysurfer idea is brilliant ( sorry about the pun) every wuffo thinks we all do that still. I now a few who could do it but they are all practicing for nationals. But after nationals I bet they would all take turns doing it, or maybe not.

Are you suggesting we only do CReW in the clouds? Well we have. Its just a lot harder to track down the gear after a cut away. Bright side, its harder for the pilot to wander off heading looking for real estate to invest in.

I declare war against the monsterfatsuits Wake up people! This is the era of human flying, not fat americans falling in stupid fatsuits! My god.. Blame it on the bird-man instructors who needed bigger suits to fly as good or a little better than the guys about to do their first wingsuit jump. Its a shame to go low as an instructor on a first flight.

We did exactly that a few years ago, not a rotating beacon but a pelican king brand dive light ( maybe 5 pounds) on the bottom of a freefly tube. My plan was for just me on the tube and two guys on video, just incase one of them couldn't be around late enough for the night jump. It turned into about a six way after word got out what I was planning. I don't know what size and weight of light you plan to use and the contained power source size and weight needs to be taken into account. If its for an ad then you may not want the freefly tube along as a distraction. I got the advice of both S&TAs and a bunch of riggers before the attempt and had previously flown that tube plenty of times and several times during the day with video for evaluation as configured for the actual in the evening. Be safe.

Darnit Chuckie with an open attitude like this its going to be impossible to keep any real wingsuit sponsors, take it easy bro. Jeb didn't make money selling videos. He is an international assasin for the Vatican. I'm your buddy but I can't take you up on your more realistic plan to land a wingsuit, wish you luck with that. I want to go up not down. I'm working on a plan to ascend in a wingsuit. Like higher then Ives Rossy, sub orbital baby. Like back into the space shuttle bay way up, serious as a heart attack. I need sponsors maybe Virgin, P Allen, scaled composites could give me a boost on a proteous. Hunting for sponsors has led me to tone it down in the WS forum. Lets em know I got a big heart and I'm keeping it real

I wonder why Freeflyers insist on trying to hijack the term? .. No expert, but I don't think the free flyers hyjacked the term as much as the belly fallers labeled the freaks with it, just like the label CRW dogs use for all fallers which I can't say in a public forum.

Not really a direct reply to this post, but more one for 'the numbers folks' in general... The feeling is a 1000 times more important then the exel sheet with numbers that rolls out of your GPS.. Relax folks, Vectorboy stole Jarnia's sign on for one post. Things will get back to normal when Jarno gets back from his milk and cookies brake and resumes control.

Changes in materials that can be glued instead of sewn. No pucker as a result allowing creators a more defined wing shape not possible today for more efficiency. Thinner, stronger textiles, more UV resistant. Thiner stronger lines able to resist wear and remain dimensionally stable longer. Or maybe just cheaper and cool chic styley colors.
