  1. Hey Michele I will gladly loan you my currently unused para swift 175. Don't worry about the size, You won't neeeeeed it. worry about the color, its baby blue, will it match the rest of your gear? Glen.
  2. Actually they are fun to drive in. For those who don't know, 2 cv stands for deux chevaux, also known as 2 hp, yup a car with only 2 hp. The whole roof of the car was fabric that you could roll back. The suspension was so loose, you could almost get the car frame horizontal without any tires leaving the surface. Ohhh fond memories, well at least when the car started in the morning and we did not have to take public transportation. See the attachment Yah my ex girlfriend had one in college she loved it and bragged about how near impossible it was to flip over. I teased her that it doen't go fast enough to flip over. Glen
  3. QuoteLand Rover Discovery Yah just don't take it off road seriously unless aggie dave or myself are around to pull you out. $40 grand must be some cup holders. Oh and please drop that hyunda off your list, even skydivers must maintain SOME standards. Glen.
  4. See if Billvon can give you a lead on a solar powered one.
  5. Hey I saw Jose trying to steel a car at elsinore. Did they let him out already? Man GTA just isn't the bust it used to be. Maybe the owner dropped the charges. Glen
  6. [I knew it! It's obviously a Belgian plot to corner the world market on delicious, tube-packaged snack foods. Yes it started with DR evils plot with chocolate from brugge in Belgium. Glen
  7. Used rig sized for a smaller girl came with smallish double pillows I think they are cool but i've never used them under emergency conditions. Glen
  8. I like the idea of slippery plastic with a nice foam sandwich between it and your but. Glen
  9. Now that I've done it once I'm open for questions about it or how to build the tube seeing as it worked chris I'm interested in making one where did you get the material, how much, how much sewing was involved. I know around here they can be purchased or custom assembled by riggers. But what I want to know is was it worth it in making your own based on time and materials. I'm a very handy guy but I don't sew and that would have to be farmed out most of the other parts I could fabricate easy. Instead of sewing could some type of adhesive be used on the ZP? I would like to see picks when you are able. Glen I would like
  10. Both are good. Its great to flock with friends or get rodeo'd but rippin radical turns and banks through openings and formations of clouds can't be beat. And that would be very dangerous to do with others if you loose sight of them. In the end they are all good. glen
  11. I have landed both down wind and cross wind on purpose, BillVon told me to. And by accident, like when the wind changes while you are in mid flare, but don't worry everybody on approach at that exact moment in time will most likely eat shit too. And a truely enjoy carveing diagonaly in front of Quade at the landing area. AS far as those downwind numbers go, If it was at night and I don't have said video can I film a recreation with an impersonater stunt swooper or do I have to endure the whole agony of defeat episode myself again? Glen
  12. You said "swingin", he he huh huh. Glen
  13. What about a tent is that viable? Or will you die in the humidity... oh that is what beer is for silly me, I regress. No seriously? How bout dat? Glen
  14. There has to be a good story behind this. Bomb squad was there too, but there was to be no expulsion. I had way too many credits. If they would have forced me to come back the next year I still would have had enough xtra credits to disrupt and graduate. So a deal was struck ... just stay away and we will mail you your diploma. My airforce recruiter even did some fast talking with my probation officer and got my charges dropped down from felony to malicious mischief. And everybody hated their recruiter, mine was cool ! Glen.
  15. I thought the devil went down to Georgia..... not Rantoul ?
  16. Dude Round lights, Round lights, Round lights! This is an abomination almost as bad as square lights on jeeps. Nice chop top though! Glen
  17. You are a smart enough person to realise you don't need those people to quantify your life. Most of them were not your friends or even friendly. Like bytch said You can do MUCH better with your money. Take it from someone who was physically removed from my last day of high school by two sheriffs, who said I'm not allowed to return ever. And then later to have the reunion commitee not leave me alone before my ten year. " If you see me at my high schools reunion............RUN"! Glen
  18. I'm NOT trying to be a smart ass for a change but you need wheels! Maybe something that folds out after your canopy is deployed your ass is way too important to risk this. Do you use your feet in unison or just your butt? Glen.
  19. [ Cameramen and CReW jumpers are the only people who have decent excuses for removing RSLs. In conclusion, I believe that the primary reason for dis-connecting RSLs is unrealistic self-confidence. I may be guilty of the statement above. BUT What about wingsuit jumpers Rob, in your opinion? Glen
  20. Motercycle helmets tend to have added protection around the neck, skydiving helmets are pretty slim in the slope of the head down towards the neck. You say you can tilt your head back but is this under canopy when you are hanging and your container rides a few inches high up your back? That would make checking for canopy traffic and "up" the pattern for swoopers on short final difficult. Glen
  21. I have both a bonehead mindwarp and an oxygen. I mostly freefly but got a smoken deal on a battered used a3 that I use for cold weather jumps. I can hear and yell in the a3 as good as the mindwarp. Down side to the full face is that if you like to clear your ears under canopy you have to open the lens visor, unless of course you go visorless with goggles for nose and jaw protection. But for cold weather wing suit flights of more than 100 seconds you can't beat it. Some full face models tend to fly off heads during deployment, so mind which brand you buy. A great many people that fly RW use brain bucket or frap hats. Competetive 4-way you may really want full face coverage. Glen
  22. So you and all the other gents that took the birdman ground course but didn't do the jumps why? Was it just hang out with Kim? I understand but you gotta do the jumps! Glen
  23. How did you know I sing ride of the valkeries when I flock? Glen
  24. So sorry to hear this it sounds like you were very attached to you car. Not nioce! Buy a beater pickup truck I'll weld you up a killer mad max idiot/cattle bumper........ and spend the rest of the money on a very used cessna 172. Quade and I will take turns flying it for you so you can get a hell of a lot of jumps out of it.
  25. Ok we've all seen our heroes fly from plane to plane and never have to deploy. The other day I was thinking, sober even, about chasing down a skyvan or casa via the tailgate while wearing a wingsuit. Not me mind you, but one of our high wingsuit jump number heroes or maybe some new capable heroes. Or maybe I just started this to detract those that are seriously thinking of landing a wingsuit. This would be good practice. And the target aircraft wouldn't need complicated rigging of drouges. Some padding yes. Maybe, just maybe a real good wingsuit jumper could just sneak back in there without the skipper know'n. I know my DZO is going to have me banned for even thinking this up. Glen
