I'll stock up on one thing. A full tank of gas! Drive my ass outta Houston again to some place that has power and beer and not come back until all is well ! I have great insurance..... Just like last time, went to Austin and will do it again!

Heal and get well soon! Exactly what happened?

When I was in the military, we always hit up "midnight chow".....Loved eating late a night, but now that I'm slightly older, not so much. I also did the ambulance ride thing for EMT a while back. I don't think I ever saw a skinny paramedic! So, your probably not the only one that enjoys a late night snack!

AF has been having trouble with there 777's also. 4 inflight shutdowns in one month tends to have a negative effect on your ETOPS. I heard this particular A330 had GE engines. Ref your statement, are the shutdowns on the 777 primarily RR engines? Edit to add: Agree with Quade on probable cause.

Had the pleasure of taking this http://www.wired.com/autopia/2008/02/hybrid-of-a-dif/ Light Sport Aircraft motorglider up this past Sunday at Boerne, TX. We shut the engine down for an hour, played....and performed a no engine landing... Definitely not jumpable, but has it's on ballistic recovery parachute....

QuoteI HATE THE POST OFFICE.Quote You hate "the" Post Office or "your" Post Office? Is this an isolated event at one PO, or have you had considerable issues with all P.O.'s? I'm looking for trending.....

ok, I "think" I got out of bed one night, and left the house naked and went for a drive. Can't say for sure, I just have this feeling What I know for sure is I had at least a 1 hour texting session with an old GF one night late, and I didn't remember shit! She called me the next day and told me, I checked...you should've seen the crap I wrote!..

I was on Ambien for a while. And once took 2. It could be possible, because I think I did some weird shit that night. Not sure exactly what, I just have these kinda...flashbacks... about that night.

Yep, you're right with regard to the speed. After thinking about it some I remembered him saying that our crusing speed was 175 knots, which is 201 mph. I'm sure there were times we were going faster though, although I don't know by how much. I didn't bother asking too many questions; I'd much rather sit back & enjoy myself.

If it's civilian, it's technically a Beech D45, not a T34.Quote Sorry, but I was checked out in a T-34A Mentor at Randolph AFB, TX aero club. Original military certification. Guess I was lucky, huh? I've got pics of it if you wish?

I have many hours in a Mentor. I don't think I ever had it up to 300 mph though! One of the best handling planes around......Congrats!
