Glad things worked out. I have AAA. I had a blowout on my bike (didn't wreck, got it stopped), and AAA sent a truck out with a flatbed to pick it up and deliver to the shop 8 miles away. Cost AAA about $230, cost me zero. Well, I pay about $70 per year for the service.

Maybe years ago there were no women on ships. The times have a changed lil lady... oh, what's the ole adage, "walk a mile in my shoes"....then... you can judge. I did my time in another service, but I have bunches of Navy friends. Just look the other way in this blokes case.

I think he's a decent guy too, probably doing what producers want or wish for him to do, and trying his best to put on an entertaining show. Like I said, initially I was "anti-Bear", but damn people should give the guy a fuckin break. They (present company excluded) wouldn't do probably a tenth of what Bear would do (or can do), and here they go talkin shit!

if you use the survival advice from man vs wild, you could kill yourself. in one of his early shows, he heard something outside his shelter in the middle of the night. fearing it might be a grizzly and wanting to put as much distance between him and the grizzly, he jumped up and just started sprinting through the woods for who knows how long. entertaining, but stupid Yep, boy does some stupid shit.

Although it would be nice if citizens knew how to just "open an airway" the proper way. One of the easiest things and the absolute most important aspect of emergency medicine.

It's not his purpose to trick you into thinking he's staying outdoors. They have a disclaimer. When I heard about his antics last year I too thought I would stop watching. However, now I realize his purpose is to strictly show survival "scenarios and situations". He's a decent guy as far as learning from him. Plus, the dude will eat some nasty shit!

Pssssstttt...........all jobs become boring sooner or later. You would think I have a super job (from the outside), but actually I'm quite bored with it. I think I'll change also in a couple years. I wanna be a bush pilot. Does bush flying get boring?

For me, it's really not about saving "me" money. It's about taking the money away from Big Oil. I would much rather spend money to stop "Big Oil". Does that make any sense? I think I might be fractured or sumthin, but's that is the way I think as of late. I've switched to motorcycle and bicycle as primary mode of transportation this year. Bought a house 2 miles from work......my small part!! -
I have the same.....cept' 2 pots. 3" maybe 4" is enough. Not long after they'll start to turn red in color. I don't like em red.

Actually in most cases the new commercial pilot is quite capable in handling emergencies. It's kinda like a new intern straight from med school. They are on top of the latest in technology and proficiency. It's been stated that a 1000 hour pilot is nearing the most dangerous point in their career. Complacency coupled with lack of recurrent training....can mean bad things.

What diff does it make really though? Everybody has there own reason for being here. Me, it's a way to stay in contact with friends. Yes, I have only 6 jumps but I flew jumpers for over 10 years. Should I be banned? I've probably got more time at the DZ opening a fridge than you do total time in jumping! Everybody has their reason....!!
