  1. How's life under the bridge? HAMMER: Originally employed as a weapon of war, the hammer nowadays is used as a kind of divining rod to locate the most expensive parts adjacent the object we are trying to hit.
  2. and for the 100th time, the country has a constitution that DEMANDS innocence until proven guilty. You are making claims of guilt without any proof. You have made numerous false claims without a shred of evidence and the type of persecution that you are advocating is something out of the dark ages. so grow up. According to your logic he has to be convicted before charges are made. Yep, that'll work. Again, just because you have no knowledge of something does not mean it does not exist. Unless you work for the government agency investigating Assange you have no idea what evidence they do or don't have. 3. They help to expose government corruption and back-room dealing in some cases. In the vast majority of cases, the leaks proved or disproved absolutely NOTHING. Hence these is CERTAINLY no case for 'treason' or other crimes. Hey you made the claim of damage and crimes against the country. I am simply asking you to show it. If you cannot, then I win. that simple. Now YOU made a direct claim that the US had to recall agents because their identities were compromised. Your turn, show us where that happened. This has been my case all along. Show me ONE case where something bad happened. ONE Go Ahead We're waiting..... If you had read my reply to another poster you would know my assertion was to show how stupid your claim of this guy being some kind of hero is. No need to document becuse there may or may not be proof. It's moot. For the one thousandth time....just because you are not aware of damage does not mean there was none. Are you so naive to think everything is now public knowledge just because some asshole published some STOLEN material? Ypou seem to ignore the FACT that this material was STOLEN. But hey, the end, no matter how insignificant, always justifies the means...right? 4. Keep the post SWAGS coming. They are hilarious. Hilarious because you have no freakin' clue what you're ranting about and never have. Keep 'em coming! Of course it's a guess. That's the point. But I wouldn't expect you to figure out that my assertion is every bit as credible as your assertion that Assange is some kind of hero. Quite frankly, I don't think you have a clue as to what anybody is talking about, especially yourself. 5. document that please.... Sure thing. Just as soon as you document your claims that his actions have done any good. HAMMER: Originally employed as a weapon of war, the hammer nowadays is used as a kind of divining rod to locate the most expensive parts adjacent the object we are trying to hit.
  6. I never said that. I said, "He's My Hero!" (Assange). Something I believe in...free speech and freedom of the press. And I never said any such thing about Bradley Manning either. Actually I even said he is probably in a lot of shit with the law. So once again, welcome back, 'b.d.' crusading behind anonymity to twist and change everything that everyone else says into something that was not said just so you can rant; without purpose but certainly with rhetoric.... So what happened to that list of examples you were going to post of incidents that occurred to Americans soldiers due to Wikileaks? Oh yes, that's right - there AREN'T ANY Once again you assume that just because you were not informed of an instance, or that such instances were not made public, that they never happened. The US government had to call in many agents because their identities were compromised. Several have not been able to be contacted. Hero my ass. You worship the asshole. 7. No, what is really fucked up is that there are people like you who think of these guys as gods. Don't forget to wipe your chin and dust off your knees when they are done with you. I might not necessarily agree with you but I'm really glad there are people like Assange so even you can share your (IMO retarded and childish) views with the rest of the world freely and without the fear of being imprisoned and tortured for doing so. Enjoy while you still can. Assange never did a damn thing to protect my, or your, rights. He has merely abused what he THINKS is his right in a vain attempt to embarrass the U.S.A. If you disagree then show one instance where he protected the right to free speech. 9. Well, he got alot more than just points for explaining it... Look, I wasn't trying to take away any credit from Newton. A very fundamental part of science is to make observations, and in many cases to observe the obvious. You gave me the crazy face because someone in the bible made an observation that rain fell downward.(which wasn't even my point, thanks) I simply noted that Newton also made an obvious observation. . If you had ACTUALLY read Principia instead of spouting off from sheer ignorance you would know that what Newton did was very far from obvious. I thought it was illegal in most states to use "Principia" and "obvious" in the same sentence? I tried reading it once. My eyes blurred, mind fogged up, and I got a headache. I then decided to let those with a more mathematical aptitude read and interpret it and teach me the fundamentals involved. That part was still plenty painful. 10. When they can't measure it, they make it up with names, mythology, if you like. Dark Matter Dark Energy Infinity Zero Length of their penis Since when did lack of knowledge ever cause anyone to suspend commentary? Dark matter and dark energy can be measured indirectly. That is, we can deduce the amount by measuring their effects. Infinity can be measured. Not all infinities are the same. Zero can also be measured indirectly. 11. You missed the entire point, Bill, which is that the physical differences make for a difference in the marriage. Nobody here stipulated what kind of difference. People only said there is no difference. Is there a physical difference? Absolutely. One would have to reject biology to argue otherwise. Is their an emotional difference? Only those who have been in both a heterosexual marriage and a gay marriage can say for certain. 12. Of course not...The Bible is big enough without having a bunch of knowledge that is useless for spiritual development. So, if it is for "spritual development", why are you attempting to show the writer(s) understood the complexities of physics long before Newton? Yes, this seems to be the general consensus from all those who were actually there to observe creation. Most of their reports also tend to be longer than one or two pages... Soooo...the Bible was written by those who were there? ok I prefer the logical explanation of cration, not the Magical Mystery Tour version. 13. No, that's not particularly vague. Unfortunately though, you don't get to win any science points for noticing that rain falls downwards Perhaps you missed the part about it going back upwards? btw, but Newton gets 100 points and a smiley face sticker for noticing an aplle falling off a tree... Does the Bible give us mathematical models to predict the exact position, at a given time, of an object in an elliptical orbit around another body that is itself in an elliptical orbit around yet another body? BTW, the Bible is wrong right from the start. According to the Bible, there was water on the Earth when God created day & night. Unless there was some special water that can exist on the face of a planet made of molten rock...... 15. Since science is blind to what it can't measure, those who claim to be "scientists" should refrain from commenting on things they know nothing about, namely God. Likewise those who use the Bible as a science text book are equally wrong. The Bible is a guide to spiritual reality, not physical reality. I don't see any conflict between the two. ... If we are to refrain from commenting on things we know nothing about, then nobody can comment on God. People only think they know about God but, since He does not see fit to allow His existence to be proven, we have only blind faith to go on. Blind faith does not allow us to know anything. Those who claim to know are actually only going by what they were told by someone else who got their information the same way. 19. In racing circles that is what is known as "liberal interpretation of the rules" or, as Mark Donahue called it, "The Unfair Advantage". It isn't illegal. It's not even cheating. It's just going over the rules with a microscope to find each and every detail you can use to your advantage. 20. According to the data, 7 out of 8 can't. Where are you getting YOUR information. 7/8 can't work? Or can't find a job? Either figure I find extremely hard to believe. My personal observations would put the figure more at 1/8 can't work or find a job, and the other 7/8 won't take one of the jobs that are available. I personally know an electrical engineer whose last job, before being laid off, was as a project manager. I offered him a job but he turned it down because it would "get in the way" of accepting a "real" job. That was three years ago and he is still out of work and living with friends waiting for that "real" job to come along. He, like others, has voluntarily restricted his options so the number of possibilities is severely limited. He won't relocate, and he won't take a job he feels is beneath his skill set. It's not like i asked him to scrub our toilets. I still do that myself.
  21. All those "Help Wanted" signs I see must be my imagination. Only a small percentage of the unemployed are TRULY unemployed. The rest won't work for any number of reasons. Pay isn't what they want or are accustomed to, job is beneath them, too easy just collecting free money, etc. If people are willing to adapt, change their lifestyle, move, etc., most can get a job. 22. Depending on the situation, it can be the most emasculating experience short of actually having your balls chopped off. Imagine working for a company for a couple or three decades at the 100k range, the layoffs happen and the only jobs available anywhere in town are minimum wage temp gigs. Jobs these days are mostly gotten through contacts, but what if all of those people in your area of expertise are back at the company you got laid off from or are also out of a gig? This happens ALL the time. Trust me. Sure that happens. However, the person that it happens to has a choice. They can sit around feeling sorry for themselves...or they can work. When a man has bills to pay he needs an income. If at all possible he works to earn his way, does the best he can at whatever job he has, and holds his head high. It is, after all, what a man does. He doesn't say, "That job is too demeaning. I will stay unemployed".
