Thats 100% personal perference. I can mount mine on top to take vertical shots or inverted on the front from the extended plate, Although, be aware depending on the lens you are using some of you lens might show up on the video, especially if you are using a TRV style video camera. I perfer to mount mine inverted, only because I like horizontal pictures better than vertical. Don't know why, but I just do. Good luck and have fun with it.

Man, I was sitting tonight, reflecting on the last 4 months. April 1, I decided to do something I've wanted to do for a long time and just couldn't bring my self to do. I did something just for ME. I quit a job I didn't really like. Packed everything I owned and moved to indiana for the summer. In the last 4 months, I have learned so much about myself, who I am and what I want. I learned the true value of friendship, I learned my own self worth. Who I am is not extrapolated from this sport, but it is deep inside me. I learned that I am a good person and that I have alot to offer others and I can be a positive infulence on those around me. I learned that I am intelligent, that I am strong and that I am successful. In the last 4 months I got a coach rating, tandem ratings on 4 different rigs, I have had several pictures published in different magazines, all very cool but even more importantly, I moved back to florida and have continued to build an AWESOME relationship with my 5 year old son, I finished my degree and I started nursing school. Today I got a new job and I'm doing tandems on the weekends. I awake each day feeling better about myself, who I am. I like myself, and I am proud of what I've done with and in my life. I've had the chance to meet alot of people on this DZ along the way, some of you became friends, some of you simply drifted on, some of you called me on my own stupidity when it was needed, and for that I am grateful. but all of you have left a lasting impression on me. Thanks. Thats all I have to say about that......

I too think you are thinking about Skydive Space Center in Titusville. I live in Daytona and I jump at Titusville. I won't say anything bad about Zhills because its a great DZ. However, Titusville is closer, its 50-60 minutes straight south on 95. Let me know what you decide.

I believe what you are speaking of is refered to as model release. Model being a person who is being photographed.

This weekend Im going on an early morning balloon jump we will be taking off probably right at sunrise. I'm obviously wanting to take some photos and will be using my flash. This will be my first attempt at flash photography and Im a little confused about settings. My camera is a Canon Digital rebel, my flash is a 550 ex. I unfortunately don't have an external power source yet som I'm stuck using the stock batteries. Can someone please give me some advice on what to set the camera to and what to set the flash to. Can I get the flash to shoot 3 or 4 frames in a row or is it not possible given the lack of a external power source? Thanks for your help.

yea, I would have to say its an issue with the CF card, I've never really heard of this happening to anyone else. My suggestion would be to try another card and see if it still does it, if the problem persist I would return the camera to the point of purchase for and exchange. Sorry I can't help you more.

Is it just doing it on jumps with low light or is it doing it during the times of high light too? What lens are you using? when you say there is no picture, do you mean the photo is black or there just isn't one there at all?

I like my Triathalon, its given me a couple of hard openings but for the most part its been good to me.

I know a few people who have Bev suits, they are good looking suits but I've seen more than a few that have had the seams blow out, it wasn't like the people got large after they got the suit either. It does seem as if there is a problem with the suits seams blowing out and its usually in the same place, on the side of the suit.
