    we don't have any riggers on the dz, the closest is about 2 hours away, in a town with no dropzone . actually, there's two of them there, but neither are full time so you usually have to wait for them to get some free time. there are a couple of people who are going to take the course this winter though, so at least we'll be able to get a reserve repacked, as long as we can find all the parts (freebag etc.) since any parts must be shipped in, usually for the states. best case scenario if you have a cutaway is you find all the parts and ship them to the rigger, so even at that, your jumping is done for the weekend, at least.     maybe try painting the mask with a black - white gradient.... might give a better fade effect. maybe also try putting the two images on separate layers, offset to where you want the fade to occur, then try to 'multiply' the layers together.. not sure about that one though.     I think we have the same taste in shows... I used to live in NYC and went to school right down the street from Blue Man Group. It was really cool, b/c you could go see the show for free if you were an usher for the show. Good stuff

    don't games like that usually have a hot-key to grab a screen? can't help you with that game, but check under the options, there should be a mention of it somewhere... print-screen usually won't work, unless you turn off hardware acceleration, but that would likely make the game unbearably slow.     not defending people who tailgate, but what the hell were you doing in the middle lane if you weren't passing anyone? that's one of my biggest peeves about driving in the states, it's like the right lane is some sort of black hole that is to be avoided at all costs. keep right except to pass!     definitely. yes, it's totally hokey as far as the plot goes, but what movie doesn't blow the subject matter all out of proportion? you even get to see bill booth, movie star, in action! on top of that, it's fun as hell to pick it (and any skydiving movie) apart on technical points.     i think you'd be a lot happier with the m3 coupe as opposed to the convertible. stiffer body=better handling you could add a bunch of struts and stuff to stiffen up the convertible, but it's already heavier than the coupe (at least i'm pretty sure it is.)     can't speak to the euro insurance/service stuff, but my '97 318i has been very reliable and fun. highway mileage has been 34 - 39 mpg (imperial gallons) which gives me almost 500 miles to a tank. every year is seems to want $1000 spent on it. always something different, and it's never actually broken down on me, just preventative stuff. i was told that you don't want a granny tranny with the 318 because it makes the little 4 banger quite sluggish. definitely go for the 5-speed.     cool... i was wondering mainly because the no-sew method is something i could probably do myself. we don't have a local rigger, and i don't really want to travel 100 miles to have it done. yes, the knots are ugly, and two of them are twice as ugly. thanks for the info.     fixing the nhl would have been much simpler if they'd taken my advice rule 1: all nhl teams must play at least one home game per year on natural ice. phoenix, tampa bay, san jose etc, yer outa there. rule 2. all nhl players must have lived within 200 miles of the team they play for for at least 10 years. you wanna root for your home team, they should be hometown boys, not some overpaid import. rule 3. cut it back to about 16 teams. the talent pool is getting too shallow. that should about do it. but what do i care, i'd rather watch paint dry than most professional sports anyway, and i'm a nascar fan besides.     i've seen references made to finger trapping your steering lines once you know they are the right length. what i'd like to know is, can the no-sew finger trap be used in this application? i'd like to do it to my rig because i have an older sabre 190 with the dual steering lines, and the two knots on the toggle, along with the excess brake line, make a rather ugly looking mess of lines when stowed.     Coke C2 for me. pepsi's too sweet. of course, i like canadian coke way better than american coke. different sugars, far different taste. in the states, i prefer mountain dew, mostly for the caffeine, which canadian mountain dew doesn't have. what's up with that anyway?
