If your post numbers excede your jump numbers, step away from the keyboard, put down the mouse, and seek professional help immediately....

Haha, you probably got more chance of jumping over the next couple of weekends than I have, I'm off back to Europe for a week or so on Friday, and it just ain't worth hauling my gear over there for some mud jumping.... Cya D

Skinny eh? , well to paraphrase the Wizard of Oz, "I guess your not in Texas now Toto" Ya should have gotten out of the internet cafe's and gone downstairs to the Cone Bar hombre....Top spot for some international people watching, while watching big planes (and little girls) .....
-
"but with a bunch of foreigners" What, like Dutch people ?? Cya D

Umm al Quim, or whatever, still got a busted plane? Cya D

Wire a grid to the door and the doormat, hook up a tractor battery, put out some catnip, and get the video camera 'cos the cat won't ever piss there again....Allegedly, I've never tried it myself.... Cya D

Andyman, I disagree on the Rwanda thing, they were actually practising genocide far more efficiently than Hilter, and hardly anybody gave a flying fuck. Mebbe cos it was a civil war and outside the authority of the UN (not sure about this point tho). The WTC was still an atrocity though and I don't think you can compare a civil war with an act of outright international aggression. Cya D

Hey Andy Everything that Aggs suggested is good, RW is good to start with for two reasons:- 1) it will help you become accomplished on your belly, this becoming more and more important in freeflying, which is not just about head down...... 2) more importantly it helps build disciplines that you will need later on such as awareness of others, peripheral vision , fall rate change anticipation etc. I'd also add an oft overlooked aspect of our sport and that is accuracy, good landing techniques and close to ground control is a very important survival skill, especially at boogies. Sonner or later your gonna have to put that puppy down in a real tight spot. Don't be afraid to approach people at your DZ for some coaching, it really helps, start small and sloowly build your skills, a skydive's difficulty increases exponentially with the number of people involved. At your stage stick to two ways, theyare more likley to succeed and that increases your enjoyment. Have a dive plan, there's no point in just jumping for the hell of it. Don't stop learning, its one of the greatest aspects of your new found passion. Don't forget to smile. Cya D

Hey Paul, my climbing tent fabric (nylon) actually shrinks in warm temps. Does the same thing happen to canopy fabric, and is it considerable enough to be a factor here as well? Cya D
-
Yeah, just keep her on a tight leash..... Cya D

Agreed, "Neville Chamberlin " (sp?) but not nit picking.... Aha, that'll be the guy (then prime minister of Great Britain)who stepped off the plane waving a piece of paper that he assured the world promised 'peace in our time', shortly afterwards Germany invaded Poland, hmmmm..... Another reason never to trust politicians...... Cya D
-
Bwahahaha, only in America..... "They might even give me my own row" Row (as in wow) I'd say there would be a freakin' riot Cya D

Odd thing, Penguins talking about Alaska.....I thought most penguins lived south of the equator, cept those in zoos...... I would also watch the Caspian and Caucasus regions, I hear there are some recently arrived American specialised mountain forces "advising" in the Chechenya region (I'm not having a go at the good people that make up the US armed forces, I'm questioning the politicians who send them there).........Or mebbe they are trying to stabilise a region that is about to see some pipeline construction work to take produce from Kashagan, Karachaganak, and Tengiz, which are all massive (and I do mean 'massive', people..) oil fields out there...........Avoiding the need to route the pipelines through say Iraq, Afghanistan, or Russia.... Paranoid, we should be.... Cya D

I'd go with Lisa's advice, she has experience, and wisdom, and your interests at heart. Nobody will flame you for erring on the safe side...... Cya D

Of the 4 stack, none... Of the hybrid, still in my camera, and as Zen was the first to open his wallet, that's where they will stay.......It wasn't that bad, and being fair to the Zen he did a good job........We was just foolin' with each other on Sunday when this was all posted. Down side is my brand spankin kick ass wide angle got smacked and slightly scratched during the RW funnel. The price we for our art huh? Could have been worse, see attached..... Cya D

I dont have a middle name- but if I did Daddy said it might be "Trouble". Was your daddy a green eyed mountain jack? (obscure reference to Elvis, made obvious cos the Pink Floyd one on the boobies thread is floundering.....) Jumper P, I've already spoken to Pippy and gave her vrtual hugs, and told her it wasn't her fault, and that we luv her, and she rawks, and I wouldn't want her job for all the oil in Texas......... Cya D

Well you've been kinda quiet, we all thought you had turned whuffoe on us....... Cya D
