Chromester, A plastercast is the next phase of your life after radical canopy downsizing, if you want to skip plastercast, you can always go straight for traction, or external fixators..... Cya D
  2. Ooooh, nice printer, is that an inkjet? Cya D
  3. A sad, sad loss I have some very fond memories of this hard working, genuine guy. I worked with him for a very hectic month in the tail end of 99. I'm very sorry to hear this, regards and commiserations to every one out in Perris. Cya D
  4. I'm going there right now, The Town Hall In Houston... Aw sorry man you meant the other place, I'm firewalled/banned from it by our stooopid (actually quite wise) IT peeps. Have fun tho... Cya D
  5. I used to stay in the Shelterstone, its an awsome place, when I was climbing in the Cairngorms a long time ago, but we digress.....you would have liked it there though.... PS I'm re-reading Terry Pratchet's Guards Guards and laughing my lardy ass off again. Cya D
  6. I'm back, got here tuesday, busy as hell, but off to visit uncle Scotty and Aunty Tami this weekend, so I won't be around your way for a while. I agree with you Trent, the 3-D award is a better award as it requires a more rounded approach to flying. Did ya hear that a couple of Brits already got their numbers, tell Stevie and Eric....
  7. Hi Trey, Or do it on top of a hill? Which I've seen, not narce at all mate..... Cya D
  8. Bwahahaha................ Cya D
  9. Hell, its like 70p a GALLON for regular unleaded here in Texas. Boy are the cowboys (& gals) in for a shock when they start taxing it like the Europeans do...... Cya D

  13. ""they also told me that even if it was covered they wouldnt do it for free because it was used skydiving" And their current ad campaign in the UK for the wee micro "IP" series uses a skydiving image again...... Cya D
  14. "Buy-out librarys you pay for the CD and you can use the music however the hell you feel. There aren't too many of these around and, well, you get what you pay for. I don't really have any to recommend." IME this music is..., well..., lets just say its crap.......But it is legal, even if your soundtrack will sound like cheesy porn. Cya D

"Once more, just to confirm - I misread the post. There, all clear" So do you like your men to wear such adornments? We need some sort of formal denial........or the post whoring and character assassination will continue.
  16. Sorry I missed you in Houston Phree, weather was against us, next time mebbe.... Okay on Deanna's rig, is there a chest strap (eg is it routed under her shirt etc)?, how do the leg straps adjust? This has been puzzling me for a while as I've only occassionally seen legstraps with 'reversed' buckles up close once. Cya D
  17. "You see my mom is the all mighty skybytch, she knows a lot but I would like to get a lot of different views. " Yeah agreed she is almighty (we're not worthy!), but I don't think she knows shit about canopies.. Seriously, Dave, your mom rawks, ..... I'll give you some links on things like the development of freeflying, and wingsuit flying, later on when I've had a chance to find em...these are arguably the most dynamic in terms of current development. Belly flying, CRW, style and accuracy are relatively stagnant in terms of advancement in the last 5 years or so......No offence meant to supporters of these disciplines. Technical advances in container and canopy design have, on the other hand come a long way in the last 5 years or so.... Cya D
  18. Buy her a tandem/AFF course, new BMW, whatever, it'll still be cheaper (emotionally, and financially) than a divorce..... Cya D
  19. "It would appear from Aggie Dave's post that the mod is not tremendously effective" BMcD, I gotta correct you here, Aggiedave was jumping an extremely well used Jav, of dubious vintage and history. It was described to him by a rigger as 'freefly friendly' whatever that actually means (that, coming from a rigger is a little disconcerting)....Either way, the Jav Dave was jumping that w/e was a far cry from a modern version. Hell, I even loaned him my brand new rig (oditty) cos I was a little concerned about the potential for drama..... You gotta compare apples with apples here. eg, I was recently jumping a vector II for freefly, and its a far cry from a III, in terms of flap design and pin protection. The new javs have excellent, ie very effective, bridle protection, and enhanced riser covers, along with some other nice touches like the Freefly pud, soft cutaway loop, and anti twist risers..... I can pick up my Javelin by its main closing flap and shake the entire rig without the flap opening, this is quite a good test IMHO. Cya D
