    Depending on how quickly I get back into it, I may hit 900 in Eloy. I plan on jumping this weekend for the first time since I broke my leg, then I'll see how I feel. I just need to find a rig to borrow...anybody willing to loan me something with a 150 or 170 in it for a month or two? I'd demo a canopy, but neither of my rigs would hold that big a canopy...     Hi HH... I would like to suggest that some of the older threads in Talk back be archived and moved to a separate, read-only forum. Talk Back is taking longer and longer to load, probably from the sheer size of the database. I'm on a T-1 and it still takes several seconds. At home on my dial up is even worse. Thanks.     Eloy is definitely the place to be. Airspeed is there, true, but there are tons of other 4-way teams that train there as well. Not to mention a tunnel opening sometime in the future, skills camps, and the best coaching you can get. If your looking to do basic body flight stuff first, ether head to the tunnel or call Skydive AZ and ask for Stephan. He's an incredible coach and an amazing flyer...he'll help you out in that area. As for a team, the best thing I ever did was start going to tunnel camps and skills camps in order to meet people. Good luck, and I'm sure I'll see you around...my team trains there too!     Fictional, yes. But one must admit that the whole deal with the Priory of Sion, Rennes Les Chateau, The Freemasons and the Knights Templar is pretty interesting reading. Google it. And we all know the Freemasons exist, and have been around for a while. As for the others, not really sure. An interesting Matrix link: Supposedly the "holy grail bloodline of Christ" led to the founding of the Merovingian dynasty in France....tie that back into the "philosophy" of the Matrix movies.     Yeah, what they said. Make sure you take AM-490 before you start 3-degree year. You'll spend your 3-degree year upgrading (learning how to skydive, teach, and jumpmaster). Then 2-degree and firstie years are spent on the team. A good GPA is a must, because the team will place huge demands on time that could normally be spent studying. Good luck, and definitely go for it, since the rest of the stuff going an at the Academy right now doesn't look to promising.     dude, try patron añejo, and you'll never go back. It's even better than the silver, trust me. And stay away from that Cuervo crap, unless its the reserva or maybe 1800. anything less is crap.     Also, the more jumps you get, the more intuitively aware you'll become of how to make your body do what you want in the air. You're probably thinking WAY too much about the mechanics of doing it. You're probably to the point now where you can just think to yourself, "ok I need to turn left" and you go. You probably don't have to sit there and think, "Ok, left turn, left arm drops, right knee down, ok stop." Well it's the same thing with translation or superpositioning, though it may take more experience to get to that point. Just jump, go to the tunnel, and get comfortable with how your body flies, then you'll stop overthinking and start flying.     errr...if you want to be truly technical, it does. The exact statement of Newton's 2nd Law is: F=dp/dt, or the change over time of the object's momentum. Momentum: p = mass * Velocity. If mass is assumed to be constant, you get the familiar F=m*a. OK, in our cass, mass is probably constant, but I'm being picky. I'm a nerd.
