I started to read anything I could put my hands on in 2000 after the FBI was CAUGHT in an OUT and OUT lie about Weber. THAT is WHAT started my searching....looking for the things Duane had told me about. I will go back to the posting you are referencing and will separate infomation Duane actually talked about from any other information I may have retrived or remembered for other sources other sources. I have recently avoided the inflated egos. What I do state has been proven and stated by those who should know....putting Weber in WA and in a chute. Why should I engage or reply to these individuals? NO good reason I can think of. Did I ever post the pictures of MOUSE! I don't remember if I did - but, Curtis Eng was amused on the phone. I do NOT know what he thought when he actually saw Mouse...or if he even looked at the photo! Always wondered because I told him I would send it - if the receiving agent who got the pic but didn't show it to him - Shame on him! Maybe they had a good LAUGH - you think! It is not the truth. 377 Jo, When you retract the above claim, how about also admitting that your recent claims about Duane being involved in some heroic incidents are also false. Dana, I have a P.O. Box but it is NOT valid anymore. I also want to talk to Geestman - but, only to learn more about the Woman who Rode Horses standing - as it was something Duane told me about. He did mention Paradise park and the BOYS used to stay there - ALL in the same conversation which was brief upon our passing thru that area on the HWY in 1979. Doug Pasternak interviewed the composite artist for over an hour but, less than 2. He explained he could never get the lower lip to fit the description of the witnesses. What was explained to him from the witnesses - was that Cooper made a motion with his lower lip. Well, Duane when expressing himself or understress or angry threw his lower lip out and down ON one SIDE. He would also do the baby pout and ever mother out there knows what that is. I do NOT know if I have pictures of Duane with that action.... Later upon learning that Duane had lost some lower teeth and probably had only a temporary at that time - this is totally logical.... that he was making an action to maintain the ill fitting temporary prosthesis in place. It became less obvious in the yrs, but as age advanced and he had to replace the bridge in 1990 - I noted it more so at that time...but aging had a lot to do with that. Well, I am sure GLAD I didn't write a book - at least I am free to explore. I have to AGREE - BLEVINS surely could NOT ignore all of the postings pointing out the inaccurate information he has in his book regarding Kenny Christiansen. These are facts about his subject that he supposedly can prove, but you and other were able to rip the hell out of those facts. He continually has a different excuse for not changing it and pretends to not know what you are talking about. The only reason he does this - is because if NO one else is ever declared to be Cooper - he can continue to build his self-esteem and keep his name and the book out there. His legacy and he firmly believes NO ONE will present a subject the FBI will declare to be Cooper. He is banking on it! Jo has NOT written a BOOK. The world is full of fiction writers and real crime books being put out today just are too slanted and without any substance and proveable backgrounds....so they end up being classified as Fiction or just fade in the past. After about the 30 yr mark - the book might be sought out in an old book sections - but after that - NO one will be interested. After so many yrs - there is just no way to prove a suspect committed a certain crime - like Jack the Ripper. How old is that case now? This has been a difficult resolution and doesn't mean I GIVE up! Do I think it is FAIR - HELL NO!. Duane is the only person who EVER fit the description, confessed and had a background that was questionable. I can put him in a Chute and I can put him in WA....but I have to put him on the DAMN plane - otherwise it would be forever debatable. AT least I aint making shit up about a man who never commited a crime and who didn't fit the description...Duane at least is even a puzzle to people who knew him for a long time and also claim to be his friend - but, knew he was also unpredictable. He was loved and he was hated and he was admired and he was spit upon. He was a dirty rotten criminal and a good husband. He was a lousy lover but good as loving and caring. He was a jack of all trades - and he could fix just about anything. I could add - he was Duane L. Weber, John C. Collins and Dan Cooper....the last one I had no knowledge of until a few days before he died. Mixed Feelings!

AH Homid! I deleted my list of the things and reason why The FBI did NOT do their job in those 1st 2yrs after talking to me. 1. They did not contact the Mrs. Finley or her nephew. 2. They did not contact the owner of the Fauger airport and the men who owned the land there - had a business there. 3. They didn't contact the owners of the other airstrip - no one was shown a picture of Weber. 4. WHY DID THEY NOT PLACE Weber's Jefferson pic which would have been the closest to the crime - in the WA paper to see if anyone knew this man. 5. Why didn't they ask they question the man who bought the van regarding his 2 different stories to the agents and inform him the skyjacking involved 20's. This man did NOT know this until 2013 - to late for the FBI to ask him about a couple of 20's he found cleaning out the car. 6. Why didn't they find out why Duane's ex burned her shed down before the FBI came to see her. 7. Why didn't the FBI have Duane's Jefferson pics available to publicize and show to those who might have seen Cooper. The witnesses were NOT shown the JEFFERSON pics. 8. The only problem one of the witnesses had with the Jefferson pic was the ears - and the only problem that person had with the other pictures in 2000 was the ear. NOTE: I never thought to ask him if they showed him pic in 1997 of Weber and what they used. 9. Did the FBI even show the Jefferson intakes or the photo I provided to the witness or did they use the old distorted pic the brother found. to my knowledge that is the only one the FBI ever used. 10. WHY didn't they go interview Tommy in Alabama. I gave them his name and his address? 11. Why didn't they attempt to find Tony or Ed. 12. A man who has 2 LEGAL current drivers licensed - should have sent up a RED light. Why didn't they arrange to speak to the phycologist Duane had to see as a result of the COLLINS drivers license? 13. They didn't ask his old friend the RIGHT questions! Such as if he ever knew Duane to have large sums of cash. See why I deleted them? And this is just a few of the many questions I would like to have the answers to regarding the FBI's actions regarding Weber. Well, I can tell you - the agent who came to see me had to do a lot of research to know anything about the case - and he lived in FL - not WA. He knew NO more than I did about what to look for and to ask me the question he should have asked me. They didn't ask me to take a lie detector test which at that time I would willing have done - even a truth serum. Now after all of these yrs. lie detectors are not valid and my health pre-empts taking a truth serum. I stayed out of their way and only spoke with Mr. H....that was a mistake on my part. I should have kept going to the active FBI, but I thought everything I was telling Mr. H actually got to Seattle. HOW VERY STUPID of ME! I wouldnt count on that - Jo has yet to reach astronomical proportions. Remember HAL ? All I did was forget to close the bold mark where it should have been. YOU could have pointed it out nicely like HOMID did - I stepped away from the computer for a few moments and when I came back and saw HOMID's post I FIXED IT! I do raise my voice but I do NOT shout! MY voice carries and I used to be able to win a PIG CALLING contest - hands down. Duane had NO idea I could do that until 1989 after we moved to FL. We had went to a function on the bay and they had a pig calling contest. I was NEVER one to make to stand up and do things publically. I had commented that the individuals who got up and demonstrated their expertise where terrible. Duane took my hand and put my arm up. I went to the front reluctanly and did my PIG CALL - PUBLICALLY. Needless to say I won HANDS DOWN. The prize was a cruise on a gambling boat for 4. The couple who had a business across the street from the shop went with us. Carr posted here long ago that Coop had thought that the stairs were dropped from the cockpit. Based on Tina statement of what Coop said to her when he was told the plane couldn't take off with the stair down. well, that kind of debunks his secret knowledge of the 727 doesn't it? I think a lot of his knowledge could have easily been found outside of working for Boeing. I mentioned before. how do we know Cooper didn't put some of this together watching the stairs drop while in a terminal looking out? AS I understand the process. THE door Cooper knew HOW to open, but NOT how to lower the aft stairs. When Duane showed me the door at the back of the plane he mentions how the door was opened and that then there was a set of stairs that had to be lowered. Duane and his wife worked for a company in Ca for about 2 months for one of the airlines (I have to look it up ever time I mention this, but not relevant to the point I need to make). They were delivering food for the flight for a catering company and/or providing cleaning services. The notes from the wife's conversations I have mentioned in this thread before I have not revisited those note in a long time and my mind is NOT retaining as much as it used to. Yrs & yrs. & that is true. the co-pilot was furious regarding the stories told by BK. I was the one who had to tell Bill what Knoss was saying. He explained the relationship which I thought was thru his brother not his son who Knoss did some work for. Art Framing as I understand it. BK was into so much that I was unclear of what work he did for members of the co-pilots family. Only toward the end of my communications with Knoss did I have a computer & by then Knoss had crossed the line - his story just GREW AND GREW AND GREW. The first few contacts seem reasonable to a rookie like myself investigating her husbands past....it took about 2 conversations before I started PLAYING him. I would deliberately introduce FALSE information just to SEE where he would take it! About 3 months later he would incorportate the FALSE info into his calls and then later in his emails & in his posting to the thread. Every time I introduce FALSE info - I sent it to Doug Pasternak for protection. I would copy the information I provided Knoss - with the false info HIGHLIGHTED. IT WAS CRAZY stuff! It was UNBELIEVABLE and OFF the WALL! I warned Gray about him, but Gray wasted 3 days on the freak...after he did this the Co-pilot REFUSED to speak with Gray. I was the one who had to give Gray the message. Had Gray NOT have spent time with KNOSS he could have had a good interview with the co-pilot. Gray cut his own throat with his actions and I had warned him - but, writers do that - they look for the dark side & that often closes down interviews that would and could have been more productive. The most realistic statements pointed out in a LONG time. This is exactly as I was told by Mr. R a long long time ago. I will add that Co-pilot R stated to me he could at one point see Vancouver in the haze. AT WHICH point Cooper was already GONE! The co-pilot was on the right side of the plane - They were N & East of the Vancouver/Portland haze...maybe this is the point he made a turn....I can't not follow the maps, but this is why I have always said the times are off by one minute - Back the route up by one minute and Cooper not only survived - he got away Clean, but landed within the VERY area that was on the Map recently posted with the Men on the ground looking at the map. He landed just a tiny bit North of their focal point and just East of Lake Merwin. That is without taking into consideration the wind and drift. Note there was an airstrip there that might not be indicated on newer maps - but it was there on the old 1971 maps. Not too far from there and to the West and then South was another privately owned airstip...Farquer (Duane Weber was connected to the Farquers and pointed out that particular strip on our trip)....but he also mentioned the other airstrip, but we were NOT on top of that one as with Farguers). Duane had connection to the Farquers.. He knew a family member of that family who lived in Biggs/Rufus area of OR. The nephew of the woman had a motel there and he WAS a JUMPER! Her name was Mattie Findley and her nephews name was Stanley - I have his name in my files and I have his complete name - today not even sure Stanley was the name. ON our 1979 trip Duane stopped to see both of the. Ms. Findley's store was close and the nephew was not at the motel. One would have to go back to my earlier posting to get the correct names and spelling. NOT one of you found it strange Duane took me to these areas in 1979 - and as you guys have maintained he never worked there or lived there. Evidently ALL of you think I just made this UP. I was telling this to anyone who would listen after I understood who Dan Cooper was. Remember I did NOT have damn computer in 1996 and I would NOT have known these things IF Weber had not told me and have shown me. NOW you have to question HOW or WHY Weber would know these people and these places in 1979. Sluggo suggested he was among A GROUP who went in search of Coopers money! WELL, I suppose that is possible - BUT, IT DOES NOT EXPLAIN AWAY THE FARGUERS AND THE NEPHEW STANLEY AND THEIR CONNECTIONS TO TWO OF THOSE SMALL AIRSTRIP. It is TIME someone really really listened to me. Hell, I wish I had been able to have recorded all of my conversations with the FBI and Mr. H......but, I didn't know what it all meant! Duane COULD not have known these people and the things he pointed out and the airstrip IF he did NOT have a history in WA. SEEMS like the government DOES NOT want Weber's history in WA to ever be known! Why didn't they go question these people in 1996 - They were still alive then! Your post reminded me of something you guys have forgotten or that U just think JO created. When we lived in CO. Duane and I flew to Atlanta for a wedding. The flight was a 727 and Duane told me about the oxygen and the flaps on the plane and the degrees. This was a February trip because their anniversary is on Valentines day. Remember I knew ZERO about the skyjacking at that time. This was when he was so wary of the stewardess and actually hid himself from her...her hair was a dark dark auburn....I do NOT know what color Florence's hair was - but from the 1971 pics I would say it was Dark Brown. He kept a magzine up in front of him like he was reading it until she closed the curtain to 1st class. When we exited the plane - he was very careful to conceal his face with a piece of luggage or his brief case - I do not remember now. Too long ago, but I wrote about it in this thread when my memory was sharper. When he showed me the wheel on the back was on a trip to the islands in 1987. He did NOT address the flaps on that flight that I remember at this time. That one had a door on the side behind the galley - if I remember correctly. I don't remember seeing that in the pictures of the 727's - did some of them come with two side door - plus the aft way. I NEVER thought of this until this moment. BUT the one going to the islands had a door way front and aft of the wings and the other door to the AFT way as we know it....which was NOT opened. Am I just imaging this? The one going to Denver we entered and exited thru the one forward of the wings. This is NOT a false memory, but it is the first time I remember this and it is puzzling me! The 727 I flew from Pensacola to Atlanta in 2007 - had 2 side doors - that I clearly remember....so I am not misremembering. I'll check my inteview notes with Rataczak. I believe he confirmed the 10K demand from Cooper. Also, Dona Elliott said the plane was lower than 10K when it went over Amboy. She told, Bobby B, me and Meyer it was about 3-4,000 feet when we talked with her in Ariel in 2012. You trust her to know what 4000 ft is? Of course on down the road there were 4 other individuals who claimed they could see the outline of the plane thru the clouds and said it was not more than 6K. Then just East of Lake Meriwin and over toward Cougar others claimed to have heard the plane. They were told it was the chase planes making turns, but both are military wives who like myself have lived near bases - we know a airline sound, a transport sound and the sound of the small planes and the sound of the small fast planes - they all sound differently. The witness reports had the plane all over the place! Don't forget the one who claimed she could see the aft stairs and a flare. It has been proven one could NOT see the aft stair open at the distance the plane had to have been at that point. I live near 4 installations and I would not dare guess how many feet the plane is above my head. The sounds are a definite yes. I can tell you how low an old transport was - because I looked up at the skywindow and I could see the rivets. Another time I was outside and you could see the tree tops reacting it was so slow. BOTH time we made complaints - it has NOT happened again. Most of this area is VERY low, but the small area I live in is the highest elevation in this low area....these TRANING missions were TO low! THEY never go over this area any more. You can see and hear them South of us and North of us - but, NOT over head. I think they maybe completely out of service now - forget the reason stated. They were prop transporters. I can still see and hear manuevers at night to the East and West of me....outside of the Pops and booms - the small planes and the helicopters are NOT noisy. OHHHhhhh! Robert U do NOT know me. I do NOT have cable TV & I average 2 hours per day on the 3 major channels I get. I watch the news if I remember to turn the TV on. Today the TV has not been turned on. My world does NOT revolved around the TV. What I said in a recent posting is what I have experienced and the research I did yrs ago and my unrelenting search for TRUTHS. One does NOT find those on TV nor in our local library. Eat YOUR words!. I used to get the history channel, but it is NO longer available by antennae. The last time I watched a Cable program was the program Blevins promoted and I made arrangements to view that with a friend I trusted, who has NOW moved away. Most of my friends HAVE no idea what I am involved in. Only one of those friends lived here and is now in N.C. YOU KNOW zero about JO. There is a place about 24 miles from here I visit in attempts to get books for research & I can renew the loan by phone if I am unable to make the trip to renew it. If I find a book - I pay for it - I like to own what I read. Casual reading - I use the large print books - so I wait until someone donates one to the Friends of the library. RARELY does an infomative research book become availabe there on any subject. The regular library gets those and the books I am looking for they do not keep....they just do NOT clutter up their limited shelf space with research books. If there is a large sale of donated books - I go and search for books that might be helpful. They are usually OLD books and only twice in 14 yrs have I found books that were helpful. NOT a TV person.....! I hate the hype and the chopping . All you get is the sensationalization (not a real word, but you get the meaning - I hope).. Look beyond your limitations regarding me. Dumb Blonde Sydrome - I do NOT get jokes. I also do NOT understand a lot of what I read, but at least I make the attempt. Until this last yr - got 2 newspapers daily, but with everything getting so expensive I had to give up one of those. I got ahead of myself so deleted this post. Old women do that! A little more of what I am trying to tell, but it means nothing - just a story told by someone else. He mentions Operation COLD FEET! Interesting just because. He mentions 1962 and Intermountain Aviation B-17 with the Fulton Skyhook apparatus. Not mentioned: During the Skyhook ventures one trainee made the wrong knot almost costing someone else his life. Inserted just because Duane told me that story. He mentions Cargo kicker...a terminolog we have often thought Cooper could have been. This mean ZERO and has nothing to do with anything. This is NOT off topic, but as I do it I have Classical music playing so loud from my kitchen on the only workable CD player I have (single play). Lighting got the system in 2004 and it is too heavy for me to take in and NO one around here works on the old systems. I need music right now and I need calming music - I am trying to finish up what I MUST do at this time so I can address more serious problems that do NOT involve me or Cooper or my health. What I am going putting in this thread is information I have - but I will not divulge the articles so I have to use MY WORDS. I apologize to the man who wrote the article and hope I do not infringe on his rights. As what I am stating is only my version of what has been told and published. A former Air Force Lieutenant from 1960 to 1965 wrote the article from which I have taken the liberty of telling about in my own words. The man was active - 1960 to 1965 and his encounters with Smoke jumpers.....during that time frame. Parts of this involves Intermountain Aviation, CIA operations and Marana, Az. He talks about some of the colorful characters who claimed particpated in the Bay of Pigs, Arctic ice islands & Laos. Georger, IS not a stupid question. I am going to give my old woman who knows nothing about altitudes and what the visibilty difference would be, but, here goes. On a short flight to Atlanta, Ga from Pensacola FL I flew on one the last Boeings like Cooper jumped from. There was two Pilots sitting not far from me - this was day light, but there was breaking clouds below us and I asked them how high we were. I do NOT now remember their answer, but it would have been between 7 and 10. A guess on my part - but you pilots out there might understand what I am saying. If there was Clouds and if Cooper did NOT know a storm had come into the area - WHAT could he have seen from 10,000 ft he could not see at 7,000 ft? PERHAPS hazes created by high towers! ONE of the tallest and brightest was the one at one of the dams in 1971. Since my memory is getting so bad I do not know which one, but I would say the newest damn & the light on it. Duane told me you could see it for miles (we were on the ground when he made this statement in 1979 so it might NOT mean a fricking thing). My other question is HOW did he know about that specific Dam and how bright the light was? It was in this same conversation he told me about the communications system at the dams. How they talked to each other and about the quich where a man was let go. WHAT exactly was that quich - was it more than the communications? WAS this guy able to increase the intensity of the light or make any changes like causing it to go dim and then brighter? Could the light be made to FLICKER! DUMB stupid OLE Woman QUESTION? Maybe someone familiar with the Dams and the lighting could answer that question. Duane said the light could be seen for miles - and mentioned a man who was let go, but was reinstated. Another question HOW the hell did he know this - it was NOT public knowledge as far as I know? Can those LIGHTS be controled in any way? Could (even on a regular night) those light be seen and what was their intensity. Evidently the lights were so flights would NOT hit them or get too close - THEY had to be intense and more so than regular lower microwave towers or other light towers. These Dams are on the River and this one dam was located the closest to the mountain - St. Helens. Would that have meant that one tower would have had to be MORE intense? Another question - does any one know the name of the man who worked the tower Nov 24, 1971? If so WHAT was his background?
