Georgers statement regarding my actions in forging forward on my own: He said I was seeking publicity and fouling up the works and that the original advise was "Keep it close to your vest. Remain silent. Be patient". Well I wait for 4 yrs before I went public and until I did so NOTHING was done regarding the investigation of Duane Weber. Georger indicated that Nobody appreciated my forging on - because the process was in motion whether I knew it or not. I asked WHAT process was in motion all those yrs - nothing? Georger also states - there was always more involved and other people to consider. What else was involved and who were the other people to consider? There were too many open ends in his statements. By the way to anyone who cares - the FBI will have their signed and notarized statement from the night clerk in a few days. As I have said this is between the witness and the FBI and it will not be made public in this forum. The FBI will be given ample time to make a response - if no response is made then the decision will be made what to do regarding the statement. I have no idea what 888 means or what your post means. I came back here tonight to post -this. Cook claims to have mailed photos of his suspect to Tina and Florence. I have never done that. The only photo Florence has seen was one shown to her on a cell phone in a restuarant - no explanation of his age was given to her by Geoffry the man in N.Y who claimed that Christainsen was Cooper. She stated Duane was too old - the photo she was viewing was 8 or 9 yrs after the crime...she was not told this. I have a photo of Weber that strongly resembles Christainsen except that he is gray haired and much older in the picture and the hair line is different. Florence stated in regards to the photo of Christiansen "I think you are on to something". She is also quoted as identifying a snapshot of Coffelt as being Cooper. We are all aware that Coffelt was to old and not physically able to do the jump. Wonder how she would do with a photo line-up of all the suspects with many different pics of each individual at different ages and with age explanations? To my knowledge the stewardesses have not seen proper photos of Duane with explanations of the age and that there were NO pictures of Duane from that time span other than a polaroid and an old distance snapshot. I refused to give Tina's address to Cook or to Grey - out of respect and I have NOT inflicted photos on either of the stewardesses. I have and still maintain that the only way to find out if any of the suspects fit is for the FBI to obtain photos that have been submitted to the media and also include photos of the individuals that have NOT been in the media. Doing what is called a photo line-up with multiple pics and multiple suspects. These photos CANNOT be morphed or alter photos such as the one Cook has used. Both the picture of Gossett and the composite have been altered - if you down load them and enlarge them you will find the alterations. Take them to your photo program where you can enlarge small areas and see what I am talking about. Since the media does not have one of the original composites the FBI used, the public has NO idea they are looking at an altered composite. This is what I mean about perception and myth existing and being intermingled ---to the viewer or reader becomes an accepted truth. FBI composites should be protected against alteration and HEAVY fines imposed on those doing so...to incriminate another person by altering that person's picture to more closely resemble the composite. NOT ONE photo of Duane has been altered - NOT ONE. I believe it is time the FBI finally stepped in and did this properly with all the suspects (a picture line-up). I do not want to hurt Tina or bring back bad memories to her, but many of us out here need answers...it is time to put this long story to bed. How many of you think I should impose photos on Tina and Florence? I have thought about it many times, but then reason with myself - would I do that to my kids who are about their ages...without their expressed permission to do so? If I did so without photos of all the suspects it would not be a line-up. I seriously doubt I would be able to identify someone after all of these yrs....,,with multiple pics I might do better especially if it was a very serious episode in my life. Pictures of one individual - I would question my own or anyones ability of recall 37 yrs later. It would mean that Cooper was quiet extraodinary in appearance - which obviously he was not...or someone would have ID ed yrs ago... Read the posts from individuals who worked with Gossett - they do not believe he was Cooper. Perhaps it would serve the legend better to wait until they are all deceased Outside of individuals who posts on various forums to discredit Duane Weber (I will be kind enough not to call them the names they called me) - in over 8 yrs NOT one person who KNEW Weber has come forward to say he was NOT Cooper. Those who knew him state he was secretive and the one person who knew him the best was aware Duane had a past he did not talk about. I have not discussed in this forum or anywhere else things I have been told about Duane Weber - terrible things that there is NO need to ever disclose. Duane Weber was NOT a nice man in his past and he left many lives in ruins during his life time. None of you have ever heard me say this - because during our marriage he was different. We had our moments, but the man I have been told about is not the man I was married to for 17yrs. Duane had a lot of secrets - most of which will never be revealed. I do not like nor could I have loved the man that has been revealed to me by others who knew Duane. It was the man he became that I loved - and the little boy who was lost but found in the later yrs of his life. The stories from his past - make him sound like a Jekyll and Hyde. Inside was this little boy who was reborn - maybe this is what he meant by his last few words to me. "Take the baby down stairs Bring the baby back up I can't go till the baby gets here." "I love you. " and then he went into the death gurgles. A few moments later he was dead. I thought what he was saying very unusual and I was writing a letter and scribbled down what he said. You may feel that way, but I feel very connected. =================== I didn't know what to do - but I knew that the FBI wasn't doing anything and I did what I had to do. ======================== I didn't seek out publicity - remember I did not go public until 2000 - I sat on the information sharing it with the FBI who sat on it. The FBI did not do anything with the information I gave them until I made the case on the computer and infront of a camera. Ralph Hope the agent of record in 1997 is recorded as saying Duane was NEVER in McNeil - along with other information that was not correct. It was not until the first TV program which happened after I went public that this agent acknowledge anything regarding Duane (I expect he had done little or nothing from our conversations prior to that TV program). It was the TV programs and the internet that caused the active FBI to take agressive investigative action. =================== I know who you are now and you know that I did not go public until I was forced to do so because the FBI ignored me. You also know that I spoke with many of these so called cranks, kooks and false confessors. That some of them went away after I got hold of them - such as a taxi driver claiming he helped Cooper spend and gamble his money away. Another who claimed to have known Weber/Cooper and shared a jail cell with him. There were others, but I don't remember them all right now.

Exactly what I am trying to do - but Cook makes me furious like a wet hen. I am not trying to manage everyone just defend what I have maintained. I have a strong feeling about right and wrong...even with my own family. When I found out who Dan Cooper was - I had mixed emotions. I didn't think twice about calling the FBI to let them know he was Cooper...that is how strongly I felt. There was NOT ONE thought of books, movies or what my going public would do to my life...or how it would affect my career. I was just doing what I thought was the right thing. It would be a few months later I would be approached by these things and feel the results. I have told the FBI from the beginning about certain connections, but have been ignored. Coffelt, Lawrence Kansas, Ross, the man in Portland (would someone help me find that information again and that man's name - he worked for Boeing and was looked at as a suspect very early on). Duane's strange disappearances during his union with a prior wife - saying he was going to Ca and then up the West Coast - he leaves her in AZ...this was in the 60's. What business did he have in Wa in those yrs? Who was he going to see? Our strange stop in Salt Lake - and the man in the photo - a photo Duane requested I take. I can't find the photo so I will have to find the negative. I got rid of the photos when I redid the album yrs ago, but I kept ALL of my negatives. (this was before I knew about Cooper)...50 yrs of negatives to view! The man was wearing a black (dress) suit and had a large black case ( the kind that pilots used back in those days - it was rectangular with a handle on top). Much much larger than a brief case...as long or longer and as high or higher and much much thicker - maybe 8 inches or more wide...note this is from my memory of the photo (I am NOT being specific). I do not see where anything Duane did prior to our marriage or during our marriage can be separated from his life and our life. Therefore I did not understand your comment "You have no status in the matter." What exactly are you referring to? Basically sounds like legal Mumbo Jumbo to defend someone such as Cook and his right to use people for his own benefit. Snowwman please stop - I never posted in a forum to be exact - I did not research everything I wrote - I was just this dim witted woman trying to tell what she remembered and at one time there was more information coming at me than I could digest...I WILL ASSURE you that the photo albums and the work records will substanciate the dates when they need to be done or if they ever need to be done. I have something more valuable to do with my time than to wade thru around 12 feet of research with most of that in written format and emails. Most of it has been put on disks thru a costly process but, I can't find anything unless I know the approximate date of a specific exchange. I also don't know how to do the things you do to find things like you do. My log books in those yrs (recording who I spoke with and what the subject was about)have also been copied and the orginals stored with tapes of some conversations in a safe deposit box. He also had taken a job that required consistent contact with individuals on a daily and weekly basis. I used my memory not digging thru the files before making a post - posting is responding - I didn't know I needed to qualify every post by going back for the dates. I had only used a computer in the office for real estate prior to 2000 and was not computer savy nor never dreamt that every word I said would be hashed over and over. You and others try to pick what I say apart - why don't you pick apart Galen Cook? Guess I know the answer to that - maybe you are related or on his payroll. Regarding Cook - note that there are several different versions of what the Attorney supposedly told Cook about what Gossett said to him - this is over a few months period of time. Let me establish something right NOW - I recieved a call from this night clerk in 2001 after the Oregonian did an article - this was the first time the night clerk had seen a picture of Duane. .

I have given and provided to the FBI the information that may do just that. I have also given and provided to the FBI Duane's connections to other individuals who have been suspects...this information had been given to them before but this time I had MORE to offer because of things I MISSED before. As I have told all of you - I started going thru my old records a few months ago and started matching them with new information - hence why I have said recently that it goes right back to the very beginning... 1997 and 1998 information provided to the FBI at that time. These things are small, but very significant pieces of information that connect Duane to other suspects and could put him in a chute and /or in the company of individuals who had jumping experience. I have done all I can do without going public again - therefore for the time being this is the hands of the FBI. P.S. I do not get the information in the South about Gossetts widow (rather one of them). If anyone has a copy of her interview or can get me a copy I would appreciate it. I have dial-up and cannot view this on line. I will provide an address to anyone willing to mail me a DVD or Video tape of this. I question that if this widow knew he was Cooper why did she wait until he died? Why did this "Union attorney" have to dig her up? First Buzzard came into this forum and insulted me with his post. Some of you were nice enough to come to my defense at that time and now it seems everyone is jumping on the band wagon. True I do not have physical evidence and everyone seems to ignore these FACTS of what I have claimed from day one. I did not know who DAN COOPER was so - WHY would I have documented anything about his confession, I certainly wasn't looking for any proof of his confession when I STUMBLED IN TO who DAN COOPER was 1 yr and 2 months after he died. This is exactly what I have said before about truth and myth - and exactly why Cooper has never been found. The myths continue to grow just like the myths that you guys have just stated about me, Duane and the shop. The Peddler Shop is the correct name - and that name only came about because of an OLD sign he adopted. Duane was NEVER a user of Drug nor have I ever been. As well as I thought I knew some of you guys I cannot believe that you would jump on the band wagon with this BUZZARD and allow the insults to continue and grow into monsters. If Duane had this sense of importance and wanted his confession to be remembered WHY didn't he ask for an attorney or a witness? Why didn't he ask for someone in attendance who would have known what he was talking about? Duane Weber was devious and secretive, but never dangerous. Just because he was a con who got caught - is exactly why he got away with the crime. He screwed up and he was scared to death. He did a stupid thing and had no way out, but to jump. Also look at this way - he was recruited because he was not someone who would be identified as a jumper or having any knowledge of it - because his past was so obsured with more than one AKA. AKA's that never made it into his criminal records. The FBI has never explained where Duane was or who he was between 1945 and 1950. I have provided them with the information I know of those yrs and not one word from them. A man does NOT disappear off the face of the earth for 5 yrs. Duane Weber was Cooper - and I what I have told in this forum and to others and the FBI is the truth and nothing but the truth. Because I did not know him in 1971 I have had to fill in many of the blanks by what I did know of this man and how he processed thoughts and how he did things. I have explored many things and for some reason I am always taken back to the very beginning of what I told the FBI and Himmelsbach - the connections I made in 1996 keep coming back. The Sandy Springs incident, the woman who came to my apartment, the trip to Wa in 1979, the stop in Salt Lake to go to the church - I had been to before and he had been to - our time should have been exploring things we had not seen. There was NO need to show me things I had already seen in yrs gone by. His disappearing act at the The Dalles, the strange things he said and the places he took me and the things he said, his second disappearing act in Seattle, his immediately typing his letter of resignation and immediately left for Ala after the money was found. The letter was typed the day after the newpaper artlicle. The things he said over the next few yrs. and things he showed me, all without telling me he was Cooper he showed me his life and he laid the story out but like he was talking about someone else. As I have said - I was the dumb blonde and I was right up until the end. I wasn't interested in the past only the present and the future. It is useless to defend myself or take the time to address the insults. I was feeling good about my life and I come to the forum only to end up in tears. Duane L. Weber was Dan Cooper. I did not hallucinate a ticket, a bank bag, a stub, the items he kept, the confession, the background and everything that came flooding into the very soul of my being - the memories - WHEN I found out who DAN COOPER was - all of these things made sense. God KNOWs I wish he had NEVER told me - it has used up the last 13 yrs of my life. I hope that one day someone will find the proof that the FBI will listen to, but all I have is the memories and I have provided the public and the FBI with everything they needed to lead them to the truth, but the legend is what the FBI and others want to live - NOT the truth because it makes too many people - the FBI, CIA and the government including all of the wanna be's who have written books and are going to write books look badly. Not because I am writing a book, but so that if and when the truth is EVER made available to the world - at least I will been documented as having tried to tell the story as best as I could. I will not give up until I am mentally and physically not able to do so. I know that the FBI and others have hoped that I would die or just go away. When I recount the things that the FBI has NOT explained - the myth that they would rather continue - there are those of you who say why did you go back to that subject. It is those subjects the FBI wants the world to forget about - it is those subjects the FBI and others want you the reader to forget - about. Those things I keep harping on are the things that you guys should NEVER forget about. Remember those things - those are the things that count. The FBI wants you to FORGET about the cigarrette butts and they don't mention them on their site. They want the negatives to go away and I am the only Constant Reminder they have to those things. In that 1979 photo - I am seeing what appears to be a house up toward the road but then there is something else between the house and the tree line (what is that). Was that the foundation of a new house or the actual house. If the house is the same house that was there in 2000 then in the circle on that map go to the lower right hand quarter closer to the the tree line ...the center they have on the map is off from where we were shown the money find. I looked back at the house from the river and we were East of the house and NOT in front of it... Also when I got all miffed about this not being the place Duane took me to - I walked back up to the parking lot and looked back down - I was standing looking down at them - I had a clear view of them and the house was to the West of me at that point - . There is a path from the parking lot going down to the beach - the house will be on your right or to the West. After you take that path to the beach turn and go about 1/2 way or less onto the beach then walk West - there were 2 large trees - the find site was infront of these trees...we were on the East end of the house and not in front of it. I know were the house was but I don't see it in the pics. What yr is the second pic from. The second pic - looking back to the East...the trees had water up to them and that trough you see East of the Bar - trees on boths sides. Himmelsbach made a remark to me explaining that it was different in 80. This pic you have there must not be in 80. What I am trying to say is that looking East there is far more sand on the beach than in 2000. With that I am talking about the trough to the East with trees on bothsides. I believe he said those trees where NOT there in 1980 or they were just scrubs. Looking down that way I could see things caught up in the trough area (it looked shallow). Look at the shore line as a womans rear end and the her waist and the hump of her shoulders. The lower hump (the toosh was not there in 2000 The prominent area was what is now the shoulder. Got to be a 2000 pic someplace. I thought I would be able to see the house better. (the house would have been there in 2000). Wish I could pull the picture out of my mind and put it on paper. We were West of the trail from the gate and parking area - but i am not seeing that.. When you get to the beach you then walk West a few feet out from the first 2 large trees and then come out far enough you are not under the branches and that is the spot. I want that house to appear darn it. I want to see the gate and the path and I don't see them. Also acrass the river there was NO developement as these pic show.. Georger: Can you find a 2000 aerial we can over-lay on that last pic you posted. I can't see the parking lot and the house - maybe the house was not there in 1974. Those are my mind-set land marks from 2000. If that last pic had a marker where the house stood in 2000....then I can be very close to telling you exactly the place that Himmelsbach pointed out. The house was about 3/4 a football length from the dig site and to my left from where I was standing about 10 ft from the water. Football lengths are how I judge distance more than 20 ft. Rather elementary but just the way my farmer bred mind works. The barn yard was 3/4 the size of a football field. Our yard was 1/2 the size of a football field. The entry was the length of 1 1/2 football fields. I judged the field sizes and the crop sizes the same way. I suppose that comes from having a father who loved Football, although I have not been on a football field in over 45 yrs. Guess I should drive out to the local recreation area and see how a big a football field looks to me now after all of these yrs...and make sure I can still judge things that way. Standing out at the waters edge it was in a curve - to the East there were trees jutting out into the Columbia on what I don't know - I assumed that area sheltered the bar from a lot of turbulence. A comment was made to me by Himmelsbach regarding this but I don't remember what it was. Staight across the river was wide and open - almost barren - the land across the river seemed to be low lands. To the West or NW I really don't remember what I saw - but the river continued to show a curve. I am not looking a map - only relaying what I remember seeing that day. I didn't want to muddy this with details and maps which seem to distort what I remember that day in May of 2000. I will remind you that the Fazio brothers and the fishermen in the area spoke of high water prior to the find - this high water was supposedly a snow melt in the prior wks. Facts and Myths: I will restate again that I did not meet Duane until after the champagne bottle was sent to my end of the bar. As I refused the money I ask the waiter to tell the gentleman to join me where I was seated...some 20 ft away. It was a large L shaped bar and we were on opposite ends. Until that time I had not paid any attention to him - the waiter told me he was wearing a gray suit. He did not stand out and was not being bolsterous or loud...but he had obviously been observing me and had asked the bar tender if I was a regular. The bar tender did tell him I WAS NOT a regular, but that it was my birthday, because of a comment I made to him when I placed my order...it was a quiet bar and not one of the airport hangouts - I was not comfortable in places like that...loud - pick-up places such as the Admiral Benbow. I was not there to be picked up nor was I interested - I just want a couple of hours to myself in nice surroundings...There were at the most a dozen patrons in the bar and the music was soft and soothing. My clothing was as ALWAYS very conservative - never revealing or sexy...I was just an ordinary woman whose 36th was being spent alone - I was a struggling mother with a child and worked 2 jobs to keep food on the table and a roof over our heads. Georger: The flood (never-the-less) was not sufficient to flood the Fazio home. which at that time set a few feet above the river level (maybe 8 ft to 9 ft) - this is just me eyeballing it. The only evidence of water levels with any current at all was at the fence and tree line (there were large trees there). This fence and tree line showed evidence of a little erosion from a flood before 2000. These trees where very large - age I would not know, but if I can find the tape - someone in the area should be able to tell us the approximate age of the trees on the fence line at that time 2000. They edited a lot of that out and I do not know how much of the shore line they showed - but the unedited film should still be available - I am contacting one of the crew who was a private film maker doing this on a commission and due to the interest of the subject he may have kept the original taping. It was a flood before 2000 and after 1980 that Himmelsbach and Fazio were discussing that created that particular damage. There was rising water and the usual snow melts in that area from 1971 to 1977 - I also posted that information and the source which I consider reliable because it was a State of Wa source. Should you want to dispute that then you will need documentation...I don't mean pictures of other areas. I do not know how to key the info like you guys do to pull it up. I am more interested in your detective abilities. I was watching a detective show tonight. What got my ATTENTION was when they took a picture of a woman and compared her features to a picture of a bank robber. Is this just something they do on TV or for show? HOW much would it cost to have the pictures I sent you of Duane as a young man and another one you nor anyone in this forum has seen compared to the two XXXX photos I sent to you? If the FBI can't do it -who can? I am serious about all of this - I am not playing games and don't expect you to either, but mostly I think it is just that for you - a game. all good background - - - at its peak the Fazio operation was well known in the animal husbandry community and good with tours and organisational work. They are well known or remembered ... The description of their property post flood adds perspective. The description of how civilisation impacted their lives is accurate. In 1971 their situation still would have been rural... however, the bar does appear to have been a favorite well known gathering location for some time. The area the money was found was not where the island is....a journalist only needs to give an approx area. At the location of the money find you could see clear across the river - the view was NOT obscured by the island. That picture would indicate you could see the island which you could not from the beach at the point of the money find. I was there with one of the Fazios, Himmelsbach and others who were supposed to know where the money was found. I had a friend (who lived most of his life in WA) go out there recently and he didn't see the house and described lots of equipment buildings that were not there in 2000...he didn't see the house. He made pictures which he is sending to me. I tried to describe what it was like standing on the beach and looking back at the road to the parking area and gate - with the field and equipment to the East and the house to the West. You could only wish you could consume the calories I consume in one day and never exceed 130 lbs in weight. That should be explanation enough without any details. As for the longest thread in history - I have never thought about my fight to find the truth being considered in that way - why did you bother to post? As for being a posting "whore" what would you call Snowmman or Georger? SNOWMMAN AND GEORGER: I noted that you found no significant flooding between 1971 and 1980. I was on Tena's Bar in 2000 and Himmelsbach asked one of the Fazio brothers (who was present) about a flood the area had in recent yrs. There was no discussion of flooding from 1971 to 1980. Probably BOO-BOO and you are right I did not get involved until 1996 over a yr. after Duane died. I believe my first contact with Trixie (Brian's ex) was around 2001. Too bad they didn't have cell phones back then to reported the find. Considering it was 1980 and the fact at it was rural - knocking on one of a farmers' door would not have been done - that person might have claimed the money was his. Having come from a large family myself - I understand the family kicking into clean the money. First thing you do is call a brother with "Hey , You need to come see what we found today - biggest catch I ever had." I know that I remember some things from my childhood - but, for the most part it is we have heard the story being told at get-to-gethers through out the yrs. Such as I can invision myself going down the country road with my Springer to see my Daddy - the mailman sees me and picks me up and carries me home - age 3. I know I have no actual memory of that. My memories do start around age 4 - not stories that were told but things no one really wants to remember - such as my being held up to my grandfathers casket to kiss him good-by...hence I avoid any funeral I can. My only memory of his living is his boots - he was a tall man and wore big old gouloshes over his shoes..I do not remember anything else about him. Yet, I have no other memories from that same time frame. Pictures exist from that time frame - all I have are the pictures - but no memory of their being taken..or what I was holding.. That was one of her first contacts with me. We would have some private contacts after that. Later I would talk to Brian's attorney and then to Brian himself only once. I basically found no more information that what was presented in the forum and in the books - no real comfirmation of what is true and what is not (regarding the money find). I accepted the fact that the wife was upset because he had supposedly not supported his child and if he got any money from the bills that back child support was owed. There was also and new wife and her 3 kids in the package. This is a domestic problem and I know it is not a wise thing to get involved in this - so I keep my distance and what I have said above is in the media. Good approach - yes, I would like to know if that is true or if was because they started trenching. Like grits - ever try to pick the black specks out before cooking them - they keep going to the bottom. I know that is an odd anology for you guys, but it is the one that enters my mind. Also Puffed rice - if you are celiac sprue you have to put the cereal in a large bowl and shake it so the fine grain (that possible have wheat contact) sift to the bottom. Now I use an colander - and just sift it out. Georger - what else could explain the smaller pieces being deeper or did they just sift there in the recovery process like the grits and cereal.
