Thank you, I was counting on you to provide that. I knew he would be deceased but thought he might have had a specialty. Back in those days families tended to use the same attorney for everything. My gut tells me that his old case files will show that he represented not only the family in 1958 but Duane Weber when he was arrested and sent to McNeil in 1943 and maybe later when he was sent to San Quentin (SanQuentin may have been a public deffender - since he was a legal adult at that time and a second time offender). 1943 he was actually not old enough to be sent to a federal prison - the identification he had and the McNeil prison file and identification on him stated he was born 6/18/1920 when he was really 4 yrs younger...this birthdate is stated in the prison files. He was only 19 yrs old (not the 24 yrs of age the state sentenced him under) in 1945 (accounting for the alteration of his birth record in 1942). It has been stated the family intervened and he was placed into another program with the assistance of friends. He at the very most spent actually 6 months in McNeil - but was utililized in the orchards and diairies in the area due to the war effort and lack of man power.. Some how he managed to end up in CA. in a program either he or the parent arranged. I find it difficult to believe he arranged this on his own at the age of 20 - he was the baby and they wanted him closer to home. If I can verify this it will substanciate his where-abouts from 1945 until 1948 or 49. It could also be a wild goose chase - but right now it is coming together. Before when I got to this point I didn't have everything I needed - now I do...I just have to follow thru. I couldn't get the FBI to help me or believe that they would assist me so I struck out on my own a wk ago...and today it really hit home. All it took was a Name to connect the dots from 1945 to 1980 and then back to WA and OR. What I am doing may not put him in a chute or on the plane, but it will definitely increase the probabilaties. It explains his target and creates an association with known jumpers - something I didn't have before...I had it I just didn't know it - but this has been staring me in the face since the early 80's...ys before he told me anything or any knowledge of his past. Not really - after a few days he could easily have taken a taxi to the airport and got his car. By then the dye was washed out his hair and he had on regular glasses and maybe casual clothes. Get out of a taxi - wait for the taxi to leave and go right for the parking lot. --------------------------------- We all can only guess on that one and anything I write about the ticket stub is a guess - except it did exist. It was grayish to blueish with Sea-Tac in BIG letters. I asked Duane what SEA-TAC was because I had NO idea. I had never heard of SEA-TAC. He just said what he did about many things - "it doesn't mean anything". I don't remember now if he explained what SEA-TAC was. LaterI went back to the shop after he went on dialysis, it must have struck me as odd at that time - but it was gone. He had retrieved it from the shop trash can. This was in 1990 when he first went on dialysis - it was a trying time and I was suspicious of his past because I found out about the John Collins thing during those 3 months. ------------------------------------- NO straws being clutched at. It is a perfect match. If he spent the night before the hijacking at the hotel - HOW DID HE GET to Portland and the hotel? To me the SEA TAC stub is a cinch - he left his car in Seattle. The question is when he fllew out of Seattle - was his destination Portland or someplace else that allowed him to stop in Portland ... such as CA or OR? Later he gets back on a plane and flys back to Portand. At that point he checks into the hotel and the next day does the deed. He has done a go back at you and no one gets it...he is just an ordinary man no one remembers. I have always wondered how throughly the FBI checked the passenger list for 2 or 3 days before the Hijacking???? Duane supposedly had 2 stepsons living in the Vancouver area around that time. He had a sister in CA, but I don't know exactly where - I think near Modesto. He lived in CA for several yrs and his parents lived there until their death...perhaps he went back where they were buried - Alhambra, CA. Sierra Madre, CA is on some papers regarding an attorney used when his mother's will was processed. This could have been an estate attorney or it could be a general attorney used for other family issues - Noren Eaton was the attorney. If Duane felt he might not survive this feat - would he not have gone to say good-by to the sister he loved and to see his parents grave site? Note - much of this is theory, but I know more about Duane and his thought processes than any of you do - he was a sentimental fool about special occasions. Both of his parents died while he was in a CA. prison 1956 and 1958. He never got to say Good-By. This conflicts with something the brother told me - but his mother's Obit is stamped Censor on the back - so he must have been in prison when his Mom died also. 377 - what can you tell me about this attorney? Add white face angus to that list. My father started one of the first White Faced Angus in KY. We had seen a herd in Fl (around 1948) and Daddy decided he had to have some. He took an old truck to FL and came back with the first of what became the most magnificant if not the first herd in grand old Kentucky. People used to drive out to the old fork in the road on the Bardstown Road/Raywick Rd just to look at those cows and they were ALL ours. Who needed thorough bred horses anyway. We had 3 wild greys plus a couple of work horses. Those wild grays where a site to behold. Daddy sold the farm while I was in college and I always wondered how they ever got those greys out of there or if the new owner agreed to just leave them be. I never could get close enough to get a rope on one them much less a bridle. Always wanted to ride one of them - they moved like the wind itself - and I never knew how they came to be on the farm in the first place. The farm belonged to my grandfather prior to Daddy purchasing it from his mother. We could not plow a field without more arrowheads surfacing. Because of a natural spring,the area was populated by Indians in the past...strange I never did ask what tribes they might have been. Ckret: He may have taken the plane from Seattle to Portland and have left a car in Seattle - it would not have been abandoned. This would account for the SEA-TAC stub. It was a simple thing to have someone else go pick his car up at the airport - all you got was a stub and you paid as you go out - no one asked for Identification or registration. Did the FBI run a check on EVERY car in the SEA-TAC parking lot? Just because he parked there doesn't mean he abandoned the car...also the car may not have belonged to him, but register to another party. As you know I remarried - the Sheltie belonged to my recently deceased husband, but I was part of his life for almost 8 yrs. For 3 yrs of his life I was his main caretaker and his soul caretaker for almost a yr... The weekend he died I called and called the vet asking for help - I laid in the floor with him for 2 days with no sleep keeping him hydrated. At 7:15 on that Monday the Vet called me and said he didn't get my messages - that the answering service didn't forward them. My "our" sheltie was still allve and they sent a car and two helpers to get him, but his eyes had already started to glaze over. I had known for a couple of months that he was giving up. He fought a brave battle just like his "Daddy" did. I miss them both very much. ==================== Sorry, I don't manufacture testimonies or evidence. I may get things all tangled up because I have been at it for several yrs. With all the information and myths that have come at me and these past few yrs it is a miracle I can remember the names of my children. Talk about weird you are weird tonight - must still be hung over from last night. The 173, 6 and 17 - I never thought about that - we are 4 short. If you should go back to the originals notes about what was said in the hospital - two of us heard what he said and one of us said 173 and the other thought she remember 178 - now we got the other a 4k. You are a genius and didn't know it. The original statements from Ann and myself - are a matter of record. (reference Doug Pasternac's notes and statements made by yours truely). Her statement and my statement are documented...we did not agree on the amount we remembered Duane saying...one amount used for the article was for the sake of space I am sure. I don't remember if the FBI interviewed Anne...but, Doug did. She and I talked about it - but never thought about that being important. This....is getting really , really weird. I am laughing very hard right now . Cannot belive I wrote that, but I did. Occasionally I have to take a sleeping pill when I haven't been able to sleep. You can do some real weird stuff you do not even remember doing. I had a beautiful Sheltie who died in April. Dogs have a way of knowing when you need comfort or if you are upset. They have unique ways of communicating comfort to their owner. He had an over bite that made him look like he was smiling at you and he would put his chin into my hand to get my attention or if I was crying and if he wanted attention. His food was always out, but sometime he got treats and if I forgot the treat he had ways to let me know. When it was storming and he was alone - he would take his bowl and empty it all over the floor. He was terrified of lightning and thunder. He couldn't talk but he had his ways. I was simply told by an old friend of Duane's that Duane had 2 children - when all I knew about was the girl. Since that is all I really know - I don't have any history - I didn't even know anything about the daughter other than a first name and approximate yr she was born and her mothers first name - never knew a last name. Since her first name was very unusual - I found a couple of possiblities...but both were deceased in the last 10 yrs. I have NO idea if the son was from the same union (note I did not say marriage) as the daughter. I really have NOTHING to go on other than what Duane told his friend. No name was mentioned. Dan sounds like a good name for a son whose father was Duane - you have to admit that could be a possiblity? As for the name used on the ticket - More than likely Duane started to say Duane, got the D out and realized he almost said his real name and just cut it short. Such as if someone asked you your name Georger, but you get the Ge out and decide you need to give a false name - How would you finish it? That is a hard one. With my name I would have started with Jo and then roled into Ann ended it with Joan - that is NOT my name. I am doing what I would have done should I have decided not to give my real name. That is not the info you are looking for nor is it why I needed any consoling from my dog. Obviously the person who didn't understand that has never had a LONG term relationship with a pet. Pets who have been with you for a long time sense when you need support or if you are sad or hurting. Perhaps I should post a picture someday of my long time friend - I miss him very much. Sorry about posting with a pill in me - the posts make no sense at all and the next day is too late to correct the errors. From now on if I need to take one of those - I am going to not only turn the computer off - I am going to disconnect the power and the back-up. It matters to me - he walked out of there with 17K - that did a lot in those days. 2 NEW cars and a trailer with money left over He was smart enough to not spend so much it would alert anyone who knew him. Gp ahead and have a beer for me since I can't drink - I could sure use a good whiskey sour or toasted almond - but they make theml with Wheat Gluten and they are poison to me. Even wine is cured with an ingredient I am not allowed to have. - no barley or hops or grains -- what I wouldn't do for a drink I could drink tonight. With the information I recieve the last 2 day - I need a drink...this information was not on the forum but it is about COOPER. If you don't know then we will just have to wait until the FBI does their thing - my lips are sealed. Duane had a son! I didn' know that, Hell, I been looking a daughter all these yrs. My sheltie died a few months ago at the grand old age of 16 - he was beautiful and smart and knew when I needed a calming look and touch. He would sit there and look at me with that cockeyed smile of his and I knew everything was going to be just find. When there were words he was comforting - 'What can I do Mama, does his help if I put my face in your hand or on you keen. Mama don't get so upset you for get to feed me and Mama I wish I could pult m paws around you and tell you it is going to be all right...I promise. His story went so far as to say the co-pilot trained Cooper, I have not been able to digest 95% of what this man told me. I did test him to see how much was real and how much was fantasy. He would tell me a story and then I would send him FALSE information on which he would build a fantasy story. To protect myself from his fantasy - I would copy each E-mail to a party who knew what was truth and what was false - thru this process I had to eliminate most of what he had told me, but a couple of small pieces of information held on - this man knew Duane and his wife, but just how is yet to be determined. This man knew something else and the only way to shut him up was to declare him certifiably mentally distrubed just like you are TRYING to do with me. You do this publically in a forum and you know that when the public hears something long enough - they start to believe it. Duane had polycystic kidney disease, PKD ? In 1970 or 1971 the life expectance was 5 yrs with proper diet maybe 10. You did not mention PKD advances in stages. This is what Duane did - the disease progressed in stages and it held its own for 12 yrs before forcing him on dialysis. Diet and life style changes are very necessary to do this - we did not use salt or salt substitues and other foods did not come into play in our lives. He was drinking in the beginning but he gave that up eventually. His mother died after 2 yrs on the rudimentary machines of the 50's - that is the image he had in his mind at the time of his diagnosis in 1970 or 71 (I was not with him at that time I do not know when he was hospitalized the first time when the diagnosis was made.) ===================== It was I believe 1970 or 71 that he was diagnosed - he had been having blood pressure problems and they found the PKD - his mother died on a kidney machine from the same disease. As with other diseases you can live a very normal life for a period of time after diagnosis...not much was know in the early 70's about the stages - that is why it hit him so hard. There were changes in treatment and a better understanding of the disease as the yrs advanced. ================= Duane did not go on dialysis until 1990. He turned down a chance for a transplant in Birmingham during his 1st yr on dialysis - he told them he had lived a full life and did not want to take a kidney that might save a younger person. As I have said the man would give you the shirt off his back - it is hard to believe he was a 17 yr felon and that he did all the things that I have learned he did do. After age 65 you were not eligible for a transplant in 1990. ===================== Duane's condition was of the hereditary type. ================= I don't know. ============ If the tie belonged to Cooper - but there is another story about the tie. Of course none of us know what they looked for - I would rather they compare with known DNA - like the cigarrette butts. ===================== In the 5 yrs of dialysis and considering all of the patients we met with and associated with it - I did not see the symptoms you describe. First you are a money expert and now you are a PKD specialist. Sorry that doesn't work for someone who was married to a man for 17 yrs who underwent shunts, damage to the nerves due to misplacement of the shunt, placement of a proper shunt and 5 yrs on the kidney machine...I do believe you have over stepped your boundary lines here. What I will say is that if you were connected to a machine for 4 hrs 3 days a week - you would have fatigue and mood swings - the same goes for cancer treatment or any other life threatening disease. The symptoms you are describing are only in the advance stages and on individuals who are not getting treatment. ====================== He was an ordinary man when I knew him - he had problems in prior yrs as the record speaks for its self. The man I knew did not present as you have stated. Nor did anyone else out of the scores of other PKD's we met. This is enough of the PKD - Duane was physically able to do that jump in 1971. Emotionally in 1971 he felt the world had come to an end - all he could invision was what his mother went thru -- he didn't want to die like that. If he had a grudge it would be that he inherited his mothers genes. If he had a wish - it was not to die the way his mother did. The motive and the state of mind! Right now as you read this a NEW investigation is being done regarding Duane L. Weber. I did not instigate that investigation and it is not being done by the FBI... The FBI has sat on information I provided to them a couple of months ago. I did not feel they were going to do anything so I set out to find the information myself and you might say I GOT LUCKY. In 1971 a friend of mine said to me "How do you fall into a pile of Shit and come out smelling like a Rose". By the way his name was George - absolutely no relation to Georger I can assure you. It is now a few hour later and I came back to let you guys know somethings and then I deleted them. I will say the last 24 hrs has been eventful and gets stranger as the evening goes on. My emails are not available and that is a result of what happened this afternoon. I am able to go to another account I have and send and recieve emails, but the one I always used is not available to read, send or search my filing cabinet. I have never forgot why I do this and you shouldn't either...you do the crime you do the time. There is NO Fantasy or Fraud involved. There are the theories I put together trying to explain and to reach into Duane's mind...and foremost to find the truth. Himmelsbach's faith in me has helped, but had he not have presented the information to the FBI I sent him because the active FBI was ignoring me - I would have gone public with it in 1997 and not have waited until 2000. I first sent the information to the FBI in 1996. I did not want to go public, but the FBI was draqgging its behind and not giving me any answers. Oh, forgive me - that is not true: They were feeding me lines as late as 1997 - like "Duane Weber was never in McNeil and I am sitting there with a copy of it in my hand". Did they think I would really swallow what they told me - that I would sit on my hands and not do anything. The active FBI are the ones who lite the fire under me and what drove me to go public....with lies that showed they had done NOTHING in regards to investigating Duane other than a simple background check. ===================== Wouldn't that be great - then I wouldn't have to put up with the insults - such expression as Posting Whore or a Lounge Lizard, plus you would be bored out of your mind. Research, research, research. Then commence the fraud! Look back at the Cooper ticket, which we know is from 1971. It's not a Northwest Airline ticket. Let you slide on that one. How about the other questions I asked? Let me explain something I lived in the South - when my brain sees Northwest that is it - and I think Airlines - just like Delta Airlines. Even today I do not think or use any other version of Northwest. The ticket stub looked nothing like your picture. It looked like the old parking tickets or theatre tickets from the 70's. It said SEA TAC in bold letters on the upper part of the ticket - the rest I think was just numbers under that - don't remember if one side was different than the other. 377: I wish it was that Simple - everyone knows who I am - the rest of you are just avatars. Someone sees an old clip - and I go to a painting class or garden club meeting - within a few weeks someone has told someone else who I am. Children (they are very observant) will see me and say "I saw you on TV" Since they stopped showing those old clips this doesn't happen very often any more - I only have an antennae in my attic - so I have only seen the clips that were mailed to me. I viewed each once and put it away. Snowman: Regarding the airline ticket (I only actually got to view it one time - that was the first time and I read it out loud and said "This is an OLD ticket". I have tried to describe the ticket before and now my memory is fading from not only stress, but age. There was carbon printing - and I want to say red carbon printing, but that was 1994, 14 yrs ago. My contact with the item was brief - long enough to note NorthWest Airlines, date and departure and destination. What I stated to Duane reading out loud ( approximately )"Gee, This is an old airline ticket - Northwest Airlines Portland to Seattle dated November 1971". When I was a kid - I said things out loud to remember them - such as spelling. In high school this is how I handled geometry and physics and algebra - I visualized the image and then the page number. Probably the only reason I remember what I did. His reply was that it didn't mean anything anymore. The second time it was just lying in his underwear drawer - as he had fished it out of the box - he tried to stop me by protesting he would put his things away (he had a fractured leg). I want to say I saw it briefly again after that, but I am not really sure - time has taken its toll... and my memory was sharper 13 yrs ago than it is today - now there are too many details to hold on to and I had to let go of some of them - it is called survival...and trying not to let this consume what is left of my life. I had NO reason to remember as much as I did...UNTIL he asked what I did with the ticket before he went to sleep. So with his soft cast (from groin to bottom of foot) he had managed to retrive it from the box the next day (I obviously had not thrown it out - because I looked thru that before I went to bed because he asked me what I did with it). I did laundry when I got home from work the next day or that weekend. All of this has been written and recorded - but like I said I don't have the ability to search like you do nor are these files set-up to view like that. It is simply a chronological accounting of the 13 yrs and what I was thinking and what I remembered at those times - the frustrations, the brickwalls, the people I talked to and how I felt about what-ever it was. I held the ticket one time, second time it was just in the drawer and as I said I think there was a third glimps - but right now my head is throbbing too much to try to think about it. Yes, this thing is taking its toll on me and that is caused by people who tease me and treat me with total disprespect in regards to Cooper, yet NOT ONE OF YOU HAS MADE FUN OF GALEN COOK and the guy who wrote that article WHO has taken the things I have said and applied them to his suspect. He is an attorney and he can talk about things more intelligently than I can - but look at the story he is telling and then tell me WHY what I say is taken apart and why I am attacked for telling the story the only way I know how. Such as the prior post - why can't anyone understand the difference between a parking ticket (stub) and the actual fight ticket. Why am I the one who is asked over and over to defend myself? That is enough to drive the most sane person into a tizzy. If you feel stress it is not because of me, but your own guilty conscience and you know what I am talking about. I said something no one got, but you in a prior post - it has been a long 37 yrs. I wouldn't bet a wooden NICKLE on this crime going unsolved for another yr. Other things were in that box and that airline ticket was one of the things that had no place there. It was 1994 we were going thur that box and the first time I saw the airline ticket. It was a Northwest Airline ticket. I don't know how difficult it is to tell a ticket (probably parking) stub from and airline ticket - I do not see where your confusion is. That old 1971 airline ticket had no place in that box. I never saw the parking stub except in 1990. Before they ever showed what these items looked like in the media I had described them in detail...color and all. I am talking about what may have been a parking ticket (stub) with Sea Tac on it. Georger - sorry if I misunderstood your statement - I still read it the way I took it. In a forum two people can have a conversation. but then other posts get injected and suddenly the post you are answering or just read doesn't make any sense - because the subject you are addressing was several posts back and the subject has been changed.
