Bruce you are a Parrot and everything you have written short of one interview was misrepresented or plagurized by sifting information on this thread and thru other sources. Writing about real people requires people skills - a skill you do not have. You are just using information others have written and twisting it around then rewording it. You are encapable of being objective if you do not like the person or they do not eat out of you hand. A book about real people and a real event has to be objective and not accusatory. You are not the judge or the attorney - and you are writing about individuals who are still living who have not been before a judge and sentenced. In matters like this it takes knowing & considering the objective goals without inflicting your own personal values. YOU allow your own personal likes and dislikes to interfer with a real life incident -YOU are incapable of being objective. Your questions are NOT worth taking the effort to reply to....it is that simple and his name is not Skippy. When you come off like a childish over grown Bully - NO one wants to share anything with you. Your reputation recedes your contacting or communicating with others. Skip is my age or older - and if he is sick and has other pursuits - you can be assured he does not want any further involvement - especially with the likes of you. Take a good look in the mirror! Your reputation of precedes you and anyone with an ounce of sense - knows to keep their distance and be very careful what is said in your presence. YOU think you make yourself sound good - but, when one takes a few simple words & writes egotistical and demeaning crap you write about individuals you supposedly interviewed - well, there should be a law about that! IT WAS NOT a dim memory and it was there! I will swear that in a court of law if need be....that picture did exist on the internet and in relation to Folsom and Firefighters...and Smokejumping ---- because that is how I was searching with key words. To this day - I still search for that photo...the new sites since I cannot see U-tube - I am unable to download or search thru the old files. Basically my search abilities because of my connect and computer system are useless. I cannot afford anymore than dial-up. I cannot afford a new computer. Therefore I work with what I have. Even U verse adds $40 to my phone bill and with my unlimited long distance (for the kids and Cooper calls). My phone bill averages 70 to 80 per month...they want $199 to hook me up to U-verse. My phone bill would be over $100 per month, but useless to me without a new computer - which has been upgraded to its max. Old Windows XP with the necessary programs at that time. They advertise $399, but they do not have a word program or photo program and Poof that $400 jumps to $1400 in the blink of an eye. These things came on my computer in 2006 when I bought it... Not to mention my car 2003 Rendezou with 79K has its problems. In my area having transportation is a necessity. Needs ALL WHEEL differential if they can even locate one, new seals, belt, shocks or struts, brakes - the list goes on and on & the price tag phenomenal. I just do what is essential with regular maintence and keep on plugging along. At this time in my life I have no way to replace my monies and they are dwindling more rapidly than we expected due to the economy. If not careful - I could find myself in the position many senior are in at this moment. They retired with a decent supplement to their SS & the economy whacked their retirement plans. Some got desperate & then lost what they did have...with alternate retirement scams that ended up causing them to loose their homes and move in with the kids. Some did re-verse mortgages and found gliches when they went to sell the home. Everything is a racket today & most of it targets seniors...the most gullible and the most to loose. My only communication with Skipp was the site he showed the picture of KC. I told him in a reply to the site that I didn't believe that KC was Cooper and told him why - and briefly my story about Duane Weber. He made a short communication to me. When I went back to the site again - Blevins had showed up. Later I could not find the site again. This was the first I ever heard of Blevins....and before he developed his story. Prove that Jo. The fact that you communicated an inaccurate memory to a third party who can verify that communication does not prove that your memory was accurate. 377 I sent it to Doug, but it did not come thru - remember 2001 computers I was still learning...I went and found it again - and couldn't print it...I tried and tried...I remember the picture like it was yesterday. Doug can tell you how upset I was when I couldn't find it again. Even today I have been searching old Folsom files - but you need to be able to down load U-Tube and have something besides dial-up. I still to this day see that picture and it is not distorted nor am I imagining it. Some one had that photo and it was on a site related to my keying in. Firefighters and Folsom and smokejumpers....the men were squatted down - not standing. The picture was sepia. The old prison was in the back ground...perhaps why they squatted for the photographer. Their attire was dark. God KNOWS if I could project that photo on to paper with my mind I would do so. It was the key to all I have searched for - the names I no longer remember....but, at the time it was on the computer only 1 of them was still alive. 377 377 the ACCURACY of my memory is recorded by a 3rd party. I never said the program was implimented and I was in communication with Doug at that time. I did make a personal contact with a man who tried to preserve the history of Folsom - but nothing about this was in the files he was provided & all of the history of Folsom has been preserved by others. This was 3 guys in a picture OUT side of Folsom and these guys wanted to impliment a programs to train firefighters and jumpers....within the system. These men obviously had spent time in Folsom. There was never anything else found by Doug, myself or the self implementing historian who made attempts to save the history. AS I stated before - this was phone conversations and I was put in touch with him through my efforts to have access to the history of the prison.. I can assure you I probably still have the phone bills. My memory is NOT failing me in this nor has it failed me regarding what Duane told me in the hospital or what I held in my hands at one time and visually saw the next time - the airline ticket! Well, he has been doing it since HE first contact me....around 2003 and he kept evolving and has had multiple suspects over the yrs. He used others I am sure the way he has used me. Bruce is too naive or greedy to know this individual has also used him. The old printed Emails I have from him & the rest are on my aol account....I know I need to start printing those. but I have so many issues I have put it off. I do have a word file I have saved many of his emails to & the ones on AOL need to be moved to that - it is just time consuming. To print them all the way I used to is just too costly. The early ones were simply printed & punched & put in large ringed binders. I have just lost interest in a man whose manners & means or objectives are only to agitate & to be cruel..., I know I need to make finishing the file on him a priority - but, is it even worth the effort...other than to provide evidence of the manipulation used in the Cooper story...just in the event someday someone proves Duane or another suspect was Cooper. I think there is enough in my file for someone to write a book about his exploration and his using & manipulating others then claiming the information as his own about his unlikely suspect. Why one man could knowingly cause so much grief for anyone who has a suspect is actually unbelievable unless they actually read all of the transactions....this includes my responses to him. The jumpers never became a program and there was no training. It WAS a picture of 3 inmates infront of the prison with jump attire and they had volunteered to participate in a program for inmates to be trained for this purpose. The 3 inmates were prisoners or exprisoner in the prison and from the pictures within my mind and memory - it was Folsom. NOW for the last time - this has been explained to best of my knowledge! I did inquire from a historian of the prison - and he found nothing within the archived files he had access to. He admitted the files he had were limited.... I investigated this yrs ago and that is all I found....I keep hoping there is an old smokejumper who remembers the effort made by these prisoners and/or exprisoners. I do not remember if I contacted this man by phone or email - knowing me it was by phone....I wanted to know the source of the photo that was briefly on the internet. The site it was on - went POOF within days of my first finding it and I was researching Folsom & firefighters. How many yrs has that prison been closed? I just did not contribute to all of this, but my story about a Playboy magazine and the cut-out and the letters was in an email to Galen Cook. I share this with him and with Ralph Himmeslbach - so unless there was a source for this pre-1997 it was taken from what I told Ralph Himmelsbach and then Cook. Remember my communications were mostly with Himmelsbach and some with the FBI - but, only on the phone. I did not have email until 2000 and really didn't know much about using email until 2001 or 2002. That is when I found that old prison thing about Folsom or SanQuentin trying to form a group to work with the forestry using parajumpers and 3 men were in that group pic infront of the prison. I didn't know how to save these things - it was there and then it went POOF! I never found it again and when I tried to send it to Doug Pasternak it went POOF...I believe this was around the time he did the article - almost immediately after the article came out. I did not print it but immediately sent it to him - he did NOT get it - so he said. I never found it again...I know I had been researching Folsom and Firefighters in the West. I had found an article about firefighters from the prisons being used in the midwest....Montana - I believe. I did this based on something Duane said one night when the big fire was happening. He told me he used to know a couple of guys who were located at the location of this big fire....the big fire was before Duane died. God, I had even forgot about that until now - but, I have mentioned in this thread...I know I contacted many to find out were the firefighters came from...it was the BIG one before Duane died. I can't keep this up much longer. I have too many problems & issues to deal with on a personal level right now. I respect what Shutter is trying to do in that other place, but after reading most of it - it is pretty far off base. All of the problem makers seem to be there now....I do not envy Shutter's job keeping them in line. Finally Georger & Cook have a place they can throw around false information and keep everyone confused. NOTE how all of the stories changed over the yrs. Homid had SOLID theories & facts, but finally he just had to step away - it is useless to work toward a goal when you have others who only want to chat or play with the facts & to distort the basics. The Facts have become obsured within the muck. If I can get to WA there are a select few I would love to meet. Ralph Hatley, Sailshaw, 377, Bennett, Amazon, Homid, Snowman & others who have offered & have help me to find the things I could not find on my own. Over the yrs there have been so many who have tried to help. Some whose names I just cannot pull out of my brain at this moment that I would like to thank and to actually meet all of them. Many have provided me with information - and some whose real names I do not know & exchanges outside of the thread. Those I have NO interest in meeting are Georger and Bruce and Cook along with others whose only agenda as been to seek and destroy or distort. I like Robert Belvins as he has always been kind, but I do not respect what he is doing nor his methods or reasons. Unfortunate there are so many brilliant minds here whose intellect if they could be objective and filter thru the hearsay over the internet and all could have 30 days on site to explore & study the area with pictures of how things looked in 1971 versus how they have changed over the yrs....But, who has the money to provide such an event? How many would actually apply themselves to an objective effort and how would one keep out those whose only reason would be to prove a specific suspect was Cooper. To assemble & view with old timers of the area (there are only a few still left alive)...and the developement is rampant. Nothing looks like it used to look....it would require pictures from the 70's. I would love to go back in time to what I actually remember - but that is not to be. It will never be and those whose objectives are only to profit off of Cooper or to distort the facts to meet their own agendas have and continue to distort the FACTS of the crime to the point of being ridiculous. Playing with theories is one thing - actually changing the known truths is another. Wish the proof would just drop out of the sky at my feet, but that is not going to happen....it has been 18 yr since I found out who Dan Cooper was and 43 since the crime was committed. When they were looking for evidence of Weber in Wa they forgot to check - incidents where parties were pulled over for drunk driving...perhaps one of them was more sober than the other and they were allow to go on their was or get a taxie to their destination. ALL three names in ONE car and at the right time - was no coincidence....ages give where a little different - but all of the names were correct. Now that information is no longer available. Oh,Well! I have given it all I have. Now I just have to figure out how to move on. I forgot to live my own life in the process and now it is too late, but I sure would love to have the answers - but, I guess that was NOT meant to be. THere is NO more evidence & the ones who actually knew something - the fragments they knew & their memories of incidents was not enough to get the FBI to take action. You do know that Ralph has located and turned in criminals and molesters. I forgot where I read this but I was looking up Ralph Hatley's name and it regarded a county that has come up in research regarding Cooper and Weber....Clackamas County - not sure I am spelling it correctly. Seems like Ralph does NOT like the fact that law enforcement can and does use their status or profession to commit crimes and to evade punishment. Ralph sound like a good citizen to me. I know he was a Green Beret, but little else. Maybe it is not the right Ralph Hatley. It is a relatively common name in that area... I guess that is the name. But I just had another SHOCK wave! Remember all the airports Duane said "The guys flew in and out of" - When I asked what they did - he just said he couldn't talk about it.... ALL of those AIRSTRIPS & small airports where he talked about flying in and out of with the GUYS. Wonder what name he was living under then? Oh my GOD, I made this complicated & it is so simple - but, I proposed it before & NO one CARED and I let it go. The Airstrips & small airports - (so many of them)....This is when he talked about the guys & the places they ate. If they were building airstrips & airports & installing the communications systems and evidently someone within that was a friend of the family. The man Duane had his picture made with in The Dalles - that was a relative. Need to find the names of every fireman (volunteer or paid) in The Dalles from 1944 to 1971. Surely they have that even if they do not have the picture. OH MY GOD! WE did it - we or I or God found the link. They need the names of the strips and any pictures made of the construction and the builder who helped build these place. It is ALL there - it is ALL here! WE have done it. Who would have paid any attention to a young man who was a friend of the family or one of the workers? I have a feeling the manual workers were bused in...but remember Duane had family connections in WA. The jump areas needed airstips - it was ALL right in front of us all of this time. Now I know why Ralph couldn't identifiy any of the pictures - Duane wasn't a jumper - he help build the airstrips or related to someone who did build them...the names that his SISTER kept telling me in our last phone conversation to write them down. I did the best I could, but I just wrote them the way they sounded. She told me she would not be able to talk to me after she moved - she did write me a letter after she moved and before she died, but she didn't say anymore about the names she told me I had to remember. Her son was career military & I guess she thought the truth would tarnish his career - I don't know - I never spoke to him. Maybe his mother never told him - I would think this the most likely. Duane's sister was socially respected and she did not want her own name tarnished - to be remembered as the sister of Cooper. Who would remember one of the contruction guys or their relative who was along for the ride. Several yrs before the crime. Hately would have been a boy himself - and he is younger than Duane....but then again I do not know the time frames Duane was doing this - makes me wonder about his criminal records and how accurate they are. Help me out guys - NOW all of the things Duane said make sense. What were the time frames Duane would have been doing this other than those yrs surrounding McNeil and afterwards...surely San Quentin nor Folsom had a program that would have allowed him to do something like that....and Jefferson - hell we know it was not in that time frame. FINDING out when the airstrips and facilities were built or improved at all of the sites Duane mentioned are iimportant. My maps are packed away and I am unable to get them. Remember Duane talked about Nevada, Oregon, Washington and Ca when he talked about these things....I sensed the remorse when he told me about the fire that killed so many of the BOYS. NOW it makes sense what Duane said about getting a BOY in trouble - but was he a BOY or a MAN at the time? Did Cooper find himself in a bind and injured - and contact an OLD friend. More than like that is what happened. Did that old friend help him out after the fact - and kept it to himself all of these yrs up until he died in 2004. But my guess is he did NOT know Duane's real name. Perhaps the guy helped Weber out in 1971, but didn't know he was Cooper. Just an old friend who needed some help.... maybe he didn't know until after the fact when he saw Margie's article in 2001. "I knew a boy I got in some trouble there and I can never go back"..what was he talking about - who was the boy? He basically at that time was talking about Spokane and Coure d'Alene...he talked about a hunting area also. "THE BOYS" how damn vague could he have been? He may have after the fact learned Ralph had birds, but he talked like he knew the man. Ralph is younger than Duane - and Ralph as a young man was Green Beret and he is a respected citizen...but, Duane did know who he was. Duane was just a guy who worked to build the strips and set up the towers...Ralph would not have known him. Duane was a man one could look right through - unless he sang for them. The guy who contacted Ralph is the same name Duane told me. This guy went to Ralph after he saw the pictures in the Oregonian - and realized he knew the joker, but evidently not under the name of Duane L. Weber or John Collins. Afraid he would be implimented in the crime is why he wanted immunity! The man tried to contact Margie - God, I wish we had Margie's old files - to see what email address the guy used...he gave no name I remember that - and we did not discuss the email address...hell I didn't know much about computers at that time or now. Not enough to have asked for the email address. So many over the yrs have tried to aid me....I dissed some I should never have dissed. A ton of bricks hit me today! An individual contacted me about 2 yrs ago - his story had some things that I was AWARE of, but he went off the deep end with all of this as we all have a tendancy to do so....I have been trying to contact him - but the number goes no where now. The lad who contacted me - like myself only knew PARTS & CLIPS. He fabricated things - but, his basic knowledge was like my own - fragmented...he was only 8 yrs old when his connection to Cooper came about... But, in telling me about himself - 2 stories collided only briefly. AWARE Air Base Constructors built private airports and airstips - not just military facilities. Duane had told me about a man & Endersol Rand, When the a young man started his 1st conversation with me a few yrs ago - he mentioned Endersol Rand & then the name Elmer Lonn came up. His father or a friend of his father I assume was connected to the company. ( I forget the details, but I have 1/2 inch of printed correspondence with him). Elmer Lonn could have been a name picked up from my prior enquiries many yrs ago...but the Endersol Rand - was what held my attention. Perhaps Elmer Lonn worked for Endersol Rand - but who developed Endersol Rand What was Endersol Rand in the 40's, 50's and 60's? Why GOD sees fit to endow me with the knowledge I needed over the yrs and to find the connections at this time in my life - I do not understand. I would never have put together all of this had it NOT been for those 2 damn Books I have cursed over the yr - like 377 often looks at his twenty and wishes it could talk. Well, I had Books with names in them & and insight in to the past. Those Books didn't talk to me either - I just knew they were Duane's connection to all of this and to his past....he kept them concealed from me until 1993 just 2 yrs before he died and then he put them in PLANE site. But, the one time I used one of them - he was frantic - telling me to be very careful. I ASKED WHO THE GIRL was in the picture - thinking maybe it was a picture of his daughter. Elmer Lonn & Endersol Rand - this was part of why this young man contacted me, but he went too far trying to convince me of "his story about this". In doing so he like myself defeated his purpose and got lost in the chase. Elmer Lonn of Endersol Rand - they provided heavy equipment for the air base and airport construction....is probably not the man Duane mentioned because I was under the impression the man would have been older. But, then I do not know how old Elmer Lonn is or if he is a junior or the history of Endersol Rand. At one time 377 referenced me to some information - but it seem insignificant - and nothing connected unto today! Our road was being worked on today and the heavy equipment - jogged something inside of me hidden so deeply it took my breath away - literally. This equipment has been going for 2 days on my small street - the sound and the dust and the pounding - all of that equipment. It was rattling my nerves. For some reason when they pulled off today - memories flooded my mind... Duane mentioning Indersol Rand & the Heavy Equipment. Then this coming back to me yrs later from a young man - who kept talking about Elmer Lonn of Endersol Rand THE MOMENT! AWARE built airports. Endersol Rand supplied the equipment needed. Duane's obcession with airstrips and he seemed to know where very one of them was located in WA. The towers located near the airport. The communications systems relating to the airlines and airstrip and flight in general. WE all MISSED it - because there was so many with just a piece of the story - not one of us knew the entire story...we may never know the entire story. If Duane helped construct the airstrips in WA and other places from the things he said over the yrs....things I have until a few moments ago NEVER put together -we have a connection worth chasing. It was all of the noise and the carbon monoxide that started the wheels turning today. Maybe I am high because of the fumes? It was after all of it got quiet and then this hit me like a ton of bricks This is too long and too rambling - NO one will understand what I am trying to say. Regarding McCoy We had been transferred to Va from Ga. Duane showed me where McCoy was killed when he was orientating me to the area - shopping center and groceries. He explained to me who McCoy was and I did know about the crime, but was never interested in things like that & I long before had forgotten how he reacted to the money find in 1979 - it was just NOT part of my life. I think I actually expelled negative thoughts about others from my mind. Most would have connected the incidents - I didn't & life was good. We were basically on a honeymoon - we were making good money and we worked together and we played together....We loved the beach and we were there when the weather permitted. He was out of the reach of his ex-wife and we paid her off and started over. Why I didn't pick up on the connections to our trip in 1979 I will never know - but, simply I did not. In the back of my mind - I was sorting it out - just shook my head at any negative thought I could have about this man who treated me like China Doll - We were good and we were a good match. I did not know a union between two people could be so harmonious. Our relationship never was dull and guess it was a relationship neither of us had ever experience before. ODD now that I think back over things - DUANE never pressured me - he always made me feel loved & he understood me - I didn't feel I had to pretend to be something I was not. Even my children were pleased how Duane and I interacted. IT was good. Duane could take a worst case senario and make it into something good....we didn't talk about the past - it was the here and now and what we going to do next wk or next month and we were saving for the future...Life was HOW it was supposed to be. Then the Kidney started to fail in 1986. He was acceoting and cautious, but the Dr.s were good. By 1987 he was on Disability with the company and we moved to AL - a move that was costly as I knew others had never been able to turn AL around - yet Duane was sure we could do it...I was the manager on paper but he really did the managment. It didn't work and I went to work as a manufactures rep traveling the state of AL and Panhandle of FL - then we moved to Fl....and we bought a home. He opened up a shop and I went back to insurance sales and that wss our life. A boring couple - but we were never bored with each other. August 13, 2000 Margie made this remark when she did a follow up on her story - she was a remarkable writer and I was probably the most difficult undertaking of her career...I am journalist's night mare and I know that. The boarding area had lots of businessment dressed just like that. Al except this one man, Dan Cooper, wh was dressed all in black. It was unusual: blacke pants, shoes, black reaincoat. It was like he was trying to hide, in black. But when you try to look inconspicuos, sometimes you make yourself even more conspicuous." Later, Hal was one of the witnesses who helped the FBI create compositie drawing of Cooper. "But I never did think they were very good. They didnt' look like him at all. But I was just one of many who helped put them together." This all come from a man WHO WAS THERE IN 1971. Jo Replies: Obviously you are totally unaware of how things were done in 1971. Hal was the gate agent and then as to day - he collects your ticket as you leave the gate.... The gates now are inside the terminal in most cases, sometimes you have to go onto the tarmac to board some of the planes in smaller airports, but the agent takes part of the ticket at that time. There is a great deal of distance between the plane and terminal. Now they are all now covered in most instances, but back then the ramps were not enclosed for every flight....in fact most were still open in 1971. The crew may or may not dis-embark - depending on the time frame on the ground or connecting flights.... Remember the crew boards before the passenger - by several minutes.....DUHH! Although now you even wonder if they have crew at times. The sun is NOT in the same place all of the time - oh I forgot the earth revolved around the sun. Perhaps the clouds moved, the front had moved in - lots of reason...but you should refrain from stating unless Cooper & the crew boarded at the SAME time!

Nov I have been able to connect with Duane's ex wife. Wish I had been able to record all of those phone calls. Detail I wrote after getting of the phone - details I cannot put on the thread - but I will summarize it. In summary - Duane was Cooper and she was aware of it....but she was usually 3 sheets in the wind. So who was I to believe....in this one she is not drinking & it is the most detailed accounting she ever gave to me - it ws getting close to Thankgiving. Evidently I made the summary after getting off of the phone - sure wish I had been able to have recorded those conversations....I did record a couple but that was later, but outside of my personal use - I can never let anyone hear them. What she said on this night in 2000 was well, I do not have the words for ...if my written accounting that evening is very detailed.
