Thanks for another tid-bit, Jo, about the cracks in your story, like the piece you used to tell that you had never heard of DB Cooper until Duane's confession in 1995. BRUCE - why don't you learn to LISTEN & to ask nice questions? That is not a crack...It was an isolate piece of information I gave NO thought to when he showed me where McCoy was and briefly told me why - but, Cooper was NOT the subject mentioned at that time. Just a bit of trivia and showing me the area where a WANTED man was killed by a deputy who had hijacked a plane. It is yrs later when we are preparing to leave VA that he comes in drunk. Again - HE does NOT mention Cooper or Mccoy - he is just a drunk blabbering about a man dieing because of him. NO WONDER you see a shrink and do so badly with your interviews - U CAN'T GET get CRAP STRAIGHT! ..may be your meds need to be adjusted! Maybe you should eat some of what you throw out! I told those stories - to show HOW gullible I was and that I KNEW nothing about skyjackings - BUT, you insinuate I did! My responses are honest and not designed. Cooper nor Weber was a hero....but he was a man who did exist for some reason....I want to know what made him decide on such a drastic exposition to send his message - whatever that was. That is a tough question and one I cannot answer. I could attempt but then I will flip flop around like everyone else. The only thing I do know is he TOLD me who he was for a REASON. I didn't know his life's story until after the fact - and I think I know what he wanted to convey - but it would just be my opinion and who am I? I do not know how or why he changed his life - it was not for me it was for himself. I just know that if we had any spare money - he made sure others who had less did NOT go without Christmas. Christmas was a BIG ordeal for him and I read something into this that will mean NOTHING to anyone else unless they knew the man I knew. Duane never passed up a chance to do something good for someone and he didn't want the individuals to know who did them a good deed. I can cite example of this day after day... NO child did without - when he was around - even when it was a simple thing he did shortly before he died. He had gone to the grocery just 3 block away - he had limitation those last few months. A woman was going thru the check out at Winn Dixie and she had just enough money to pay for 2 cans of formula for her child....Duane paid for a case - we didn't have it to spare ourselves....but, what would you have done? Yet, he was constantly take KOOL AID which we did NOT drink and other little things. When I became aware of this I went to the grocery store and told them if they saw him do this again - to let me know and I would take care of it. I will never forget what that manager told me. They were aware of what he was doing, but they also knew he was elderly and very ill....but, they also told me about other acts of kindness he did - and why they never did anything about the Kool Aid and his taking a bottle out of the carton and putting the carton back on the shelf...of something - example aspirin. They saw how he reacted to children - and all anyone had to do was tell the child they couldn't have whatever it was and Duane would pay for it. He told me NOT to worry about it....he would never be arrested by them for shoplifting. When Duane died he had less than $400 dollars which he stopped by the bank and cashed out his checking and handed the money to me....he knew he was NOT COMING HOME! The girls at the bank knew they would not see him again. What was hidden in that van that i did not find and/or where was it he wanted to go. I will never know! As for the copy cat theory & you fell right into my telling this story one more time: ONE night in Va. Bch Va DUANE got REAL drunk and when he crawled in the door all he could say was he was responsible for a man dieing...I though he had hit someone and ran out to the van - but nothing was wrong....Some one tried to copy CAT what he did and the man got killed because of it. Of course I had NO idea what he was rambling about...he was just stupidly drunk. Then after I understood who Dan Cooper was in 1996 I knew he was talking about McCoy.... WHY? because when we first moved to Va. Bch - Duane took me to the location and told me that is where McCoy was killed - but at the time it had no bearing on me...he had to explain who McCoy was - probably the only other time in our marriage Cooper was mentioned. The drunk scene was just before we moved and I do not remember what his reason for getting drunk was - he was NOT in the habit of doing such because of the kidney. He WAS crawling drunk - the only time I had ever seen him like that and the fact he was under orders NOT to drink at all...first and only time I ever saw Duane that drunk. Blevins perhap you have MORE incite than I have given you credit for & that is exactly why I have never made the leap for a movie or a book. First and foremost I did not want the story to end up like all of the other out there! I wanted it to be the truth & you have read me very well....I am disorganized & it is like a pot of stew - a little of this and a little of that and I get side tracked to quickly. Remember my telling about having to recite a poem in class. I would stand up - but the words would not come. Yet, when the teacher dismissed the class I could go to her desk and recite the poem. She wanted to know why I could not do it in the class. It was the same with plays - I would have one line and I would freeze up. This is one of the reasons I do not do interviews other than one on one and in my home. Put a camera out there and my being told to answer certain question with specific answers - IT AINT GOING TO HAPPEN! I just freeze and run from the room crying...Why I knew I would never be able to tell my own story! At least I am honest about my down falls! I cannot deliberately or remember lines. I can only talk like this or one on one. If I lied I would not have lasted 10 yrs in this thread. IT is not just because individuals are tolerant of me, but anyone who knows me knows how I am. I have to be in my own home - no cameras or recorders or I just FREEZE. I also did not and do not want the story I have told over a period of 18 yrs - to be taken the wrong way. When you do an interview and nothing you have said is the way it was intended - and interperted in the other person.....it just does not work. Any one who knows me knows it is very difficult for me to lie - deliberately lie for anyone or anything. Even exploring different theories - others assume that is part of my story - it is NOT. The process has been a very long one - and following the theories has got me in lots of trouble with others and the thread... One guy several yrs ago - emailed me and asked me to go along with him - that one hurt me a lot & I now refuse to follow no one or let anyone lead me. The guys who do that - are not looking for the real story - they are wanting to convince the reader to agree with what is going on by manipulation. Jo replies to the above statement by Robt99 I have the detailed records on his navy ordeal....Duane Weber was not a JAILBIRD until then. Duane was with a girl at a bar (OFF BASE). A 90 day WONDER is all over her & Duane hits the guy in the head with a bottle of whiskey. I know - sounds like something out of a book, but it was not. I have letters from the brother & the letters exchanged between the Navy & Duane's mother. It was WAR time - he of course was sent to the brig & dismissed from the Navy. I have all of the communication with the military & the authorities regarding Duane and his activities. So Duane went to CA....I have ALL of those accountings. He could NOT get a job picking apples - because of the dishonorable discharge....SOMEHOW and NO ONE knows how he ended up in the ARMY at Camp Siebert....and in chemical warfare - the FBI did verify this finally in 2000 after I confronted them with the fact I had the letters and the exchanges between all parties. I even have the letter he wrote home to his mother from Camp Siebert. He was just a kid...trying to make good & trying to do the right thing. He tried to enlist in the Navy before he was 16. The army found out he had been in the Navy & they then discharged him as an undesirable. After that the downward spiral started - he had hurt his family and he was an out cast...no job so he resorts to stealing...well we all know where that landed him. Then this same pattern would spiral and he spent almost 17 yrs in various residences thru out the U.S. He was in prison when his father die and on the run when his mother died...he had no family other than tbe sister he would sent a card to with NO Return Address every Christmas. The only positive thing about his teenage yrs that he told me are indeed true... The fiends of the family while Duane was awaiting prosecution got him involved in some activities in the Mountains of CA. His sister even told me about this - camps for wayward young men and CO's. This was thru the man named the family knew in CA...I believe we will find it was a friend of the Barths in Ca. and it involve Camino and Placerville. The two place Duane told me about when we went to Tahoe in 1979...they were happy memories about the BOYS...and this memory extended to WA. His brother was 13 yrs older in the military & no contact with Duane. His sister was in CA & she was the one to tell me the same things Duane had told me...about his working in the mountains and how he went from being a boy to being a man. He stood trial in CA for the robbery finally & was sent to McNeil. A man in WA (friends of the family made sure he never entered the population of McNeil). Many a young man was known to have been RAPED in that prison...and no place for a young troubled young man. They knew an encarceration there would make a harden criminal out of him. Duane spent many month in WA during that time span - working in the fields and NOT in the general population....the man who started this program was connected to Duane's mother's extended family in WA. The sister would only refer to them as friends of the family...but then later on our last conversation gave me information I only recently was able to understand. His sister loved her little brother - he was her doll...she was 6 yrs older than Duane and the brother was 13 yrs older than Duane. In WA he was making a turn around and she does NOT know what happened as the family did not discuss it. Duane was drifting he could not find employment, but he ends up in Chicago and sent to a work farm from which he escaped - it is believe he headed back to WA as he later made his way back to CA, but by way of Wa. All of this time is not recorded and when he tried to come home he ended up in San Quentin and the Folsom - two consecutive prison times - something today they might serve 6 months for. I never knew the nature of those crimes. His father dies while he is in prison and his mother dies after he is released and the bother sent him packing - by then Duane had hardened - the boy was not there any more....the boy was gone. Next - Duane was picked up at Treasure Isle for yet another theft taking - usually stealing. I do not know the out come of this other than what I read in an article presented on this thread. I do know Duane had told me about the incident in 3rd person. He used to know a guy who was arrested there who when asked his occupation replied "Crook I guess! I did NOT know at the time he was referring to himself - and it broke my heart when that article was shown on this thread...My remark to him was "That was a Stupid thing to say!" This was the time in this thread I realized Duane had told me about his life in 3rd person....therefore all the stories the told me about knowing a guy - he was talking about himself...he knew he could never let me know he was an excon or I would be GONE! The realization of this helped me to piece together his life...all the stories he told me about someone else was about himself. I am crying as I type this. He ends up in Canon and his sister shows up to sign him out and I believe he went to her home for awhile...Duane feared for his sister because of the man she was married to at that time...but, I only pieced this together after Duane died and his sister was telling me about his life...what she knew of it. At any rate when I met him I knew ZERO - just this really nice, smooth man who had some ROUGH edges and one little annoying habit I quickly broke him from...at any rate you guys know I hung in there and he became the man he had always wanted to be and I did truely love this man. I had never been treated like a china doll and that is how he was with me...but, his vengance toward one ex-wife I did not understand and still do not. I did NOT know that man. He was married to the other woman from 1972 until 1977 - it was more off than it was on...His best friend told me he moved that hideaway way to many times...at any rate he and I met shortly after his divorced. He had me head over heels but he was lousy in bed - I had never been treated like a china doll. The closest I ever came to that was the twinkle in my father blue eyes when I was just a little girl. My first marriage had been to man who did NOT know the meaning of fidelity...or being honest. I struck out on my own in 1972 with 2 children and often working 3 jobs to provide for us...It was hard. There was little time for meeting guys and no money to do so....and then along came Duane on my Birthday in 1977 several month later in Mar of 1978 we were married. My daughter adored him and he was a GOOD father. He knew just how to handle things and get them under control - he had a knack with young people - and I remember how he handle the guy in a bar in CO...scared the young man straight...yet Duane would never have harmed him. The only anger I ever saw Duane express was when he was drunk when the exwife was giving him a hassle. The other time I saw Duane express rage was in 1990 when the Chemical imbalance took place as the kidneys started to fail and he started dialysis. Understanding what the process was, I gave him the space he needed as he reconciled himself to depending on the machine and supplementing the income with his shop (that shop was a front - I realize that now, but I had NO idea who or what he was until 1 yr and 2 months after his death - when I found out who DAN COOPER was). Things like old crimes were not part of my life nor anything I dwelled on. Yea, I knew about Cooper, but I didn't know any of the details and not something someone puts in their memory banks in an everyday life. Nor did I ever think I would end up married to an ex-con much less one who confessed to this old crime. So now you know the rest of the story. Several months ago - I provided you with the family information that needed to be checked out along with what I finally posted in the thread in the last few hours....I thought you needed to know the truths because some of your witnesses I thought might be related, but YOU chose to ignore it all so I put in in the thread and let the shit land were it may. I told you repetitivitly Duane had connections to Twisp and you like everyone else - totally ignored me. I even pointed out and did finally find that the things I wrote about Paradise park and the trailer - well, they are no long on the computer but it was in an old site that I believe a man was posting that I think was Porteous. So who is Porteous - really. You took information and completely dumped it - information I gave you and Porteouse gave you YRS ago. Jo, I have a firm rule not to marry any woman that I don't know, have never met, or even heard of. I have never heard of the "Bob and Mildred" that you mention above. Jo, get an emergency appointment with your shrink as fast as possible. Robert99 Maybe I have his first name wrong and I am not going to give it to you on the thread. There was a man investigated right after the crime as being suspect. He owned an Air Park or Cargo on the South side of 500 - ASK HOMID he and I found it on the map...I do NOT know where that old map is right now! Do your damn research before you declare yourself an authority on Cooper - go back to WA and really go back in time. Currently you would not be able to get past all of the developement. You would HAVE to travel back in time to 1971 and 1979 - to see it the way I saw it. To have actually have see the place basically unchanged from 1971 to 1979.... Well, Robert - I have put a lot in here in the last few hours because I had to. Sorry IF I take up too much space - but, I have a mission to accomplish & only a short time to do it in. You generate 2 personalities - one for each thread. You knew I was on this thread when you came here, I have NO control over that & I stay out of the other place. I REQUESTED not to be able to post in that other site! I enjoyed the flight discussions you had - but then you seemed to flipflop & I wondered what the heck? - why does he flipflop between threads and his statements regarding the flight. Someone else enlightened me to this! You seem to be a screen for information - why has that NOT been figured out? You were claiming the flight was one place & you shifted. You got lost in your own technology. Would that be to confuse and defuse? Where have I fabricated any story about Weber? I have taken the memories & explored them. I took the things he told me & explored them. As for the CIA & Howard Hughes - why don't you take a little vacation to the extreme North & out of the states! Yet Duane did work and he did provide - Was he smart enough to con people for 6 yrs or was he applying his skill to an effort he did NOT get to experience because of the 90 day wonder in 1942? You ARE damn right he did his homework....a call was placed to a man with Boeing who was a friend of Duane's brother - none other than Stanley McGuilliam. Stanley Gilliams wife was the daugter of Duane' mothers' best friend and the 2 children were born a month apart. Mrs Weber - Duane's mother was Best friends with the mother of Stanley Gilliams wife. Stanley Gilliams wife was born Eunice Barth. --- THINK about this for a while before you jump the gun. The Barth brothers where instrumental in the Weber's moving to CA. One of the Barth brothers live in WA. A man by the name of Barth was also instrumental in Duane NOT being encarcerate on site at McNeil. That was the friends of the family who intervened to keep Duane out of McNeil - There were other family connections in WA. Duane's mother used to go to see them in WA when Duane was a young boy - and she took Duane on those trips. Duane & the woman who became Stanley Gillaim's wife were born ONE month apart - their mother's were best friends. Stanley met his bride thru these family connections.. Louise Barth (Eunice Barth's mother) and Lorraine Wenz Beechler (Duane Weber's mother) were BEST friends and often traveled between Ohio, Wa and Ca to see each other. The Wuestney was the connection. I finally found what Duane's sister so desperately tried to tell me in my last phone call with her...She told me to write it down - but the storm just hit and I do NOT mean the Great Tornado Lorraine in Ohio. GUYS this is OVER! Louise and Lorraine gave birth to a girl and a boy in 1924 one month apart. That would be Duane and Eunice who would become the bride of Stanley Gilliam....many yrs later. I do NOT know if Mildreds 1st husband was Bob or that her prior name was Ford or that the man in question had the last name of Ford...but this is a strange set of consequences. I was putting away some old files and I found something and it made me pull the old cook books Duane was so protective of. A man by the name of Bob Ford was investigated regarding the SKYJACKING OF 1971..... Damn I don't know who to tells this. In the last few months I had email Homid....he was very knowledgeable of things and I asked him about the AIR PARK that is right is East and South that was owned by Bob Ford and there was the hill Duane claimed to put something on it...His wifes name was Mildred Ford. WEll, I challenge U to check it out. I have already done so. I put him with key individuals connected to Boeing and family member connected to Boeing and put him in WA. What NOW? Have to have the ticket or a twenty - have to put him on the Damn plane. Himmelsbach has clearly stated over the past yrs as others have stated....there are detail never told that will identify Cooper. It is about time they RELEASED those "detail". AFTER 43 yrs - it is about time! Is it just something anyone could claim? Something Cooper said or did? Did YOU not pay a visit to a woman about 3 yrs ago and offer to take some things off her hands regarding OLD Boeing records and testing done! Things her grandfather participated in? Duh! No, you see JO does get around even if it is on a phone and thru emails. Are not you the individual who removed the records - supposedly to archive them & make available for research. More likely the records were destroyed and will never be made public. IT was all there - things he was not supposed to have and should not have had in his home. Outside of a cover-up who other than Boeing or the military would have been interested. Mr. & Mrs. xxxxx were both deceased, but no one ever told the family to KEEP those records or the importance of them....like the records I have - do you think my children or grand children will keep them much less have the time to understand some of it is history. Families and genreations are even more distant now than in the 50's and 60's. Grandparents and great grandparent no long share the stories of their lives and the ancestors - most child today do not know their Great Grandparents names or where they were born. Your Dad was not Cooper, but Duane and your father crossed paths. Check your father's encarceration or holding areas and an activity he used to participate in and you will find the connection... Why Duane told me he knew that guy! BUT, of course he could not tell me because I did not know at that time he was a criminal - much less have spent time jail or in prisons. He is buried in Florida and he was not alone...he had a good friend and he did lead a decent life. He never remarried but, he shared part of his secret with the man who provided for him while he was ill. Your father could not apply for assistance and told the man about the 20 dollar counterfeits....this man surmised he was Cooper after the fact, but of course he was not. He did tell this man he left behind children and if he went back he would die in prison. HE never forgot his family. This man made sure your father had food and shelter during his last days and provided a marker of some sort for his paupers grave. I have spent the last 3 days trying to locate the old article. Since the name was not given in the article - you will have to find the old death certificates and the name used by going to that place....it is not large so it should be in the county records. The name is not the same - but it was a small town and someone there will remember the story. I found the man thru the article many yrs ago - and the newspaper - it was a small news paper and I found a contact number, but I can't find it now. Since it was not significant to my purpose I expect I ditched it. The newspaper had closed but the owner still had the number as it had only been a few week closed when I made the contact. I wanted to know the name of the man who told the story, but he told me he would check with him. He did and then I called back and he provided me with the number. I called several times and the wife or roommate answered, but I did finally reach him. He told me the story above and why he connected it to Cooper. I finally put a call into one of the larger papers who I believe carried the story on a back page. That was how I contacted him and I do not remember who told me about the article, but it was the wk it came out.... The Orlando Sentinental is trying to find out if they kept it archived in their files...NO names were given - it was a small town paper. I contacted the newpaper owner...ONE wk later and there would have been no phone number available. He had close the business, but kept the number to finalize the closing of accts. The counterfeit 20's is what got my attention as Duane had told me in the early 1980's when a picture of your father appeared in a Ga newspaper that he knew that man. At that time I knew zero about Duane's criminal activities or imprisonments. I asked how he knew the man - he just mention he used to go to a bar he went to.... Track your fathers stays in jails and see if Duane was also in the same Jail. Bet that is the connection. It may only have been a holding area or a county jail - but these 2 guys really did know each other. I probably will not get a call from the Orlando paper until next wk...but I told the girl there was a family wanting to find out what happened to their father - I played on compassion...Hope that is OK. They may not have anything - hopefully they still have a record of where the story came from...it was a small town in South FL. I may have said something about his in 101, or Unsolved Mysteries or here. I never revealed the man's name or the area...but maybe some verbage from the article is in one of those sites. You ARE damn right he did his homework....a call was placed to a man with Boeing who was a friend of Duane's brother - none other than Stanley McGuilliam. Stanley Gilliams wife was the daugter of Duane' mothers' best friend and the 2 children were born a month apart. Mrs Weber - Duane's mother was Best friends with the mother of Stanley Gilliams wife. Stanley Gilliams wife was born Eunice Barth. --- THINK about this for a while before you jump the gun. The Barth brothers where instrumental in the Weber's moving to CA. One of the Barth brothers live in WA. A man by the name of Barth was also instrumental in Duane NOT being encarcerate on site at McNeil. That was the friends of the family who intervened to keep Duane out of McNeil - There were other family connections in WA. Duane's mother used to go to see them in WA when Duane was a young boy - and she took Duane on those trips. Duane & the woman who became Stanley Gillaim's wife were born ONE month apart - their mother's were best friends. Stanley met his bride thru these family connections.. Louise Barth (Eunice Barth's mother) and Lorraine Wenz Beechler (Duane Weber's mother) were BEST friends and often traveled between Ohio, Wa and Ca to see each other. The Wuestney was the connection. I finally found what Duane's sister so desperately tried to tell me in my last phone call with her...She told me to write it down - but the storm just hit and I do NOT mean the Great Tornado Lorraine in Ohio. GUYS this is OVER! Louise and Lorraine gave birth to a girl and a boy in 1924 one month apart. That would be Duane and Eunice who would become the bride of Stanley Gilliam....many yrs later. I have never understood the chute thing - 2 chutes left on the plane one was a front chut and the other was a back chute. Cooper knew the front chute was a dummy - to me it appears very easy to open it and discard the content and then put part of his bounty in it. Yea it was laced and mark supposedly but if he had been someone who packed chutes - he would know that - is that why he cut cord from the other chute. Supposedly Tina saw he wrapping cord around the bundle...but then there are other version of this - a Green pastice contain, another container provide by a crew member to satisfy Coopers need. The satchel use by the stewardesses and the pilots would have done nicely....especially if it had a strap and loops - all he had to do was intertwine the cord in the part of the case and secure it - and he had then made good use of the front chute. Odd is the fact they supplied the front chutes but supposedly NO hardware to attach them with....this is infomation to me that is deliverately presented in a cloud. I have PAPERS on the way for Vickie - I hope.....Very highly probably the man buried by his neighbor in a paupers grave was Vickies dad....Even with cremains I under stand they can still exptract DNA if there is a piece large enought. When I found this in 1998 I didn't about Vickies father and I spoke to the man on the phone a couple of time during that time spand.... The tougest is find him now so they can see of how the singnal fit the clousds.... siginal flies match....when they fire a pauper grave to not as ususual so the should be enough to end this. Strange day, kept hearing unusual sounds & Himmelsbach had told me to be careful. He knew about the other unusual things that had happened & he told me - I could go to sleep and not wake up the next morning. Certain individuals I contacted told me NOT to go there (inrelation to the current research) - ominous warnings but not threats.... unusual contacts - this was all during the time I am making phone calls to South Florida and asking questions. This was all during the MONGOOSE research - which I have now forgotten. All of the stuff about Kennedy and Cuba and other things. On July 1998, I am officially notified about the prints by the agent of record (Hope) the prison Records do NOT match the prints on the documents I provided to the FBI in 1997??? Also advised me to use the Freedom of Information. Useless information: ?The FBI would not provide me with records that showed John C. Collins at Jefferson was actually an alias for Duane L. Weber. I & others spent a lot of money & time trying to get the Jefferson records in their entirety with intake and out-take mug shots. (NOTE, they were NOT obtained until Shutter did his thing in the early part of 2013 in this forum). Ckret llied in the thread - if he truely was acting out of curiousity to help solve the crime - WHY did HE not make those records avail when he was here? On that August day in 1998 a man is really pushing me hard for a contract - but, now I am glad I walked on it....it is my belief the parties needed control regarding Cooper. The contract would have tied my right hand behind me. Ralph H, Parker and my attorney friend in the area - all agreed - it I didn't feel comfortable to walk! After arriving back home a memory from 1987 about the ticket hits me - I forgot about that - taped under the desk in an envelope in the basement office. Duane walked in (I had been on the phone making appointments). He seemed agitated at me 7 accused me of snooping ...Evidentlally he had seen me on the floor of the office from a window at the front door. I had dropped some leads on the floor and when I picked them up I saw the envelope under the back side of the desk. I don't know how much he saw me doing, but the next day - the envelope was GONE... The envelope was sealed with red squiggly line on the seal. NOW his just hit me - the 20 in the bank that was all folded up had Dan Cooper written in that same red pen....I just remembered that - Oh MY God. I can't prove this because spent that 20 dollar bill in 1995 the yr he died. Just more of confirmation I needed to know that IF Duane was NOT Cooper he sure as hell knew who was. It is just my word - NO ONE will ever believe me, but I swear by all that is dear to me - what I have told is the truth and I have NOT made any of this shit up. I had taken a flash light to the back of the envelope and I now know that was the ticket I saw in 1994 the yr before he died...but had I not logged these things - I could NOT have recalled this shit now at this stage of my life.... I am telling things I never told before - but it is time to tell them and per chance I have told them before I tell them one more time and probably for the last time. I confront Tommy in Al one last time -he gets angry (August 3, 1998)and warns me again to BACK OFF...but I let him know I have found MORE. I told him about all of the other stuff James Brown, Coffelt, Chicago, (Tommy had lived in Chicago), when I got to NEW ORLEANS Tommy is flipping out. - HE then again told me in no uncertain words that Duane knew people in high places. I then contact a man by the name of Karnet (not sure of the spelling and do NOT remember hims). HE calls me after I leave a message and warns me as he did before that I could get myself accused of a crime or worse killed. What the fricking hell did I stumble into? Why all of the secreties about Duane records, prints and background? I know I try to write from the notes but this has past & present thoughts all comingled in to one....just damn me for not remembering all I should have made the connection when I should have.... After this - hard look back into my past and into Weber's past - HE sure as HELL was Cooper or he knew WHO was....I will state that the day I die if I can talk. Suddenly Ralph HOPE with the FBI is acting COLD. "Duane's prints not on the documents" -Duh! This was a RED FLAG at that time. NO prints & they claimed they had Duane's prints from the prison files...whose prints are on those files. Remember the only prints used by the FBI was the McNeil file with was a questionable file to begin with....NOTE: Ralph Hope would tell me in 2000 that Duane was NEVER in McNeil - until I told him I had the file in my hand. They never told me if the crossed referenced with prints of Duane from the other prisons? If one recalls the only prints Ckret mentions & seemed to think NO other prints needed other than the McNeil prints - I debated this with him on this thread? YET, in 2000 Agent HOPE claimed Duane was never in McNeil....How well I remember when that happened - I was HOLDING the damn FILE in my hand as he said that...Then excuses himself and calls me back 3 hours later! I personally know Duane touched those files and yet NONE of his prints are on them. ???????? I had forgot about this - and NOW this sound highly suspicious! It is June 29th 1998. Get the rest of that yr another night - maybe! I think the FBI needs to check the prints on ALL of Weber's arrests and see it they match...each other! Just a thought! The prints still bug me & they will until I see the prints from to different files and taken at different times actually match. Remember if was after this they dropped Duane like a HOT cake....DID they compare with the other encarcerations or just rely on those old prints from McNeil - NOW remember this - they had TOLD ME that Duane was NEVER in MCNEIL. So what is the story about the prints.... Reading back over these old logs really causes a lot of QUESTION to POP & they should cause some of you to PAUSE also...They have them and then they don't have them then they have them. If Weber was never in McNeil then why does he have a FILE and most importantly WHY is the FBI using a file they claim they didn't have. NONE of this made sense then & it make NO sense now....go read Ckrets posts in this thread & then compare those with the statements of Ralph Hope. Perhaps there was too many changing of the guards and why the case was never solve - or was it inadequate training....??? What was the reason for the post with nothing there other than quoting a post made by Blevins? Reading my old notes from 1998...long before I had a computer. Interesting things I had forgot about. Himmelsbachs reactions to some news & the FBI asking me for my prints. 4 prints on the resume. My prints are on file with the State of Fla, but I went to the Sheriff Office & gave my prints as they requested. Lots of offers coming my way at that time ...but I told them all the same thing - I wanted to see what the FBI came up with. Did NOT remember this until I read it. Duane said he met Oswald in Lousiana. They were in jail - evidently not a crime, but causing a ruckus or getting drunk. I had forgot all about this. Still searching for the contact info on the man in S. Florida whose neighbor could have been Vickies father. There was more to the story the man told me on the phone - and why I keep thinking it was connected to Vickies father. I believe it was before 2003...other wise I would have information on the computer regarding it.... Found a lot of numbers with that area on the phone bills - but, I doubt he has the same number if he is still even alive... Lots of strange things happening in Jun of 1998. The FBI calls me & tells me the prints on the resume - that NONE of them belong to Duane. Even Finegold was perturbed by this...a resume that Duane personally put in the file does NOT have his prints on it...I saw him touch that damn thing & other items I provided. Shaking my head at the memory. THIS made no sense then & it makes less sense as I put it in this thread...who the hell's prints do they have on Weber's criminal files. Yes, Bruce - Finegold & I exchange lots of phone calls & he counciled me regarding things I needed to be careful about. I wonder if Finegold is still alive now...I lost touch with him & didn't want to be imposing on him....but he volunteered to provide council when people started finding me. Finegold was a very kind man - and I always wanted to meet him - his voice had a unusual quality. Writers & others were crawling out of the woodwork - yes, I had offers! Maybe I should have snatch one of them up...one was a 50K advance! It was for some kind of production, but I never felt comfortable - I wanted to wait for the FBI & not make a fool out of myself as Ms Marla Cooper would do at a later date. I have notes about the US Attorneys & Finegold - someone is trying to copy cat the story I told (the date is Jun 17 1998). Operation Mongoose is being discussed by others for some reason. I didn't even know what it was. The other's being principals within the system of connections. Hell I didn't even know what Operation Mongoose was. I am being bombarded with all kinds of information - way over my head. Attempting to obtain maps from a man with the Intelligencier. Provide pictures for maps...NOW when I read that realize had no idea the value of things. But the only map I had was in a small pocket Atlas Man looking at homes from out of Chicago - made me nervous - he knew who I was....and I had not been incontact with anyone, but the FBI and those connected to the crime...I had also NOT been public. All of you know what happened after I went public and I still bear the scars & pain from the accident & a freaky eye that cannot be fixed - have to tape it open to read a book and sometimes to drive. A friend found me a good map of WA & sent it to me...Now I know were Stilacoom is ---- can you guys believe this one ----I had NO maps of the state of WA. I didn't have the words for this - and it is very irritating for the poster to scan or quote the entire posting they are answering.... Blevins does this for commercial reasons....makes for a very boring read and use of air space to QUOTE the entire posting unless it is short or absolutely necessary do to a lack of connnections...or time. I do it myself out of defense, but not by choice...because it irritates me that others like Blevins and Georger do it ALL of the time. Remember I have NOT tried to sell anything on this thread - so tip-toe around the things you mention about me in the same breath with Blevins. You are wrong in you conclusions about Weber - and the things you personally state about me - so how about being a little less agressive. Sure do NOT want to see you eat CROW - if we ever have the Crow Cook OUT! Better watch out for what they are marinated in.... the FBI and Cook will be served the worse of the worse and told what it is before they have to consume it.
