I found several items but not able to get the pictures where I can save them and transport them. They do not alway me to save them in the formats I have. It was a canvas satchel with leather reinforced corners and leather reinforced edges along the bottom. There was leather going up the sided on the ends with strong loops of metal, where a strap had at one time been. The sides had leather up the middle to where a leather strap enclosure went under the leather handle and it clasped on the side. The leather was darker than the bag. I have found similar ones but not the same...what I found fell under duffle bags but this was smaller than a duffle bag....it was about 16 inches long and about 10 inches deep. It could have been a little larger but it has been 20 yrs since I saw and held the bag and wanted to dispose of it. I did dispose of it AFTER he died and told Mr. H about the bag. I thought I might be able to retrive it from the Helping Hands Mission where I took it, but Mr. H. said not to bother. It was very sturdy. Duane was very attached to that bag, but I did NOT see it until until around 1993 when the other stuff showed up. He would not let me get rid of it... Note the individuals in the bank stated the money was put into a CREW bag. We know it was put in a whitish Bank Bag - but then that bag was placed into another bag..... Evidently if these witness are remembering correctly - what would one call a crew bag. Cooper asked for a knapsac. What would one subsitute for a knapsac in 1971.... Well, I will try to draw the bag that was in my home and that I disposed of after contacting Mr. H. and thought I might be able to retrive it from the Helping Hands. The co-pilot also described the bag the money was delivered to Cooper in and his description and my description MATCHED. The door was slightly ajar and the Co-pilot saw the BAG. It had leather corners and A LEATHER strap...it had another piece of leather that went under the handle and latched on the other side. It was beige...and there are multiple colors own would consider beige. Grey beige, gold beige, light tan, medium tan. I am not an artist, but will spend some time trying to sketch what I saw and held in my hands. Duane told me there used to be a strap on it. Edna (last name unknown gave birth to a daughter she named Zona) around 1943. Duane said the last time he saw her she was 9. She told her father she never wanted to see him again. All Duane told me about his daughter. The ex-wife told me he tried to see her in AZ or MX when she was about 19 yrs old. That would have been around 1963. Since that wife was with him from 1962 to 1972...I believe that story. The ex-wife claimed they went to university campus. NOT clear if the daughter was a student or worked there. I think she mentioned AZ....but no longer remember the location in AZ. The woman I enquired about had deceased when I found her. In 1956 - Duane's Father died and he requested in a letter from San Quentin that Edna be allowed to attend in his stead... Evidently the family just disowned her child....because the sister NEVER mentioned the girl. Why didn't the sister know anything about the child? I don't remember anymore! It was like the child never existed - but she did. The woman I did find was named Zona and she was the right age, but she had deceased. I tried to contact a woman that was perhaps her daughter but kept running up blanks. It would be nice to make contact with Duane's Grandchild or great grandchild...but, some things were never meant to be. I would like to let them know he was a GOOD guy and he was a great father to my daugter - but Zona just came along at the wrong time in his life. I have wondered if the picture of the little girl in the Cook Book could have been Duane's daughter - or Tina. I have reconciled myself to the fact I will NEVER KNOW. Tina could have been the little girl in the picture & the picture looked like Tina, but I have NO idea what Duane's daughter looked like. I would like to know where Tina was born and where she grew up and birth date - but I do not know Duane child/s birthdate - he was probably not listed as the father. I did have Tina's birthdate on the divorce papers but, since I did not know the date of Duane's daughter it was useless information. Her father did eventually grow up and became a good man....and he became a good father. My daughter and the picture in the book could have been twins - My daughter had LONG Blonde hair and the same tiny frame. My daughter is a very PRIVATE individual or I would post a pic of her next to the pic of Tina. At 15 my daughter looked like the Tina in the photos from the skyjacking in 1971. Maybe she is why Duane adopted us as his family! Maybe that was the fatal attraction. Damn I miss him - it has been almost 20 yrs since he died in 1995. Even though I remarried - I will always and forever remember the man I met in 1977 - married in 1978....and buried in 1995. I will never forget his smile and how he treated me like a china doll. He was a good father. How could that man have been an ex-con of 18 yrs? I will never know - just like the song he sang to me on stage on our wedding night. You'll Never Know, If You Don't Know Now. What a ride - what a story - what his life must have been like - how he changed - why he changed. So many questions I would like to know the answers to - but there are none to be found. THANK you 74 - at least someone reads my postings...and YOU had to have read it entirely to catch the Azusa. Tell me about Azusa. I am not sure where Duane's sister lived in 1971. She moved several times. I do not know her addresses prior to she and Duane reconnecting in 1983 or 1984 after all of those yrs. I do not have the letter she wrote to Duane because he put it away with all of the pictures she sent him - and for some reason those pictures went POOF. I strangely enough have seen 3 similar pictures posted in this thread and other places related to Cooper. I just did NOT understand that until I found out who the indiviuals were and then it all made sense. The OTHER reason I keep digging. NO Way I could have seen those pictures they were published.... Oddly enough it was another writer who made the pics public - and then I knew WHERE to DIG for more. The person never recontacted me after they were informed I had seen the pics in 1984 approx - but, why and how did this person and I have access to the same photos - private photos...and we both knew the story about specific individuals in the pics..they were all connected to Duane and his family. Duane first spoke about both individuals in WA in 1979, but yrs later around 2004 - I would hear & read the same story he told me and see the SAME pictures his sister sent him in 1984. A story told to me by Duane and then his sister. I have never been able to shake this "co-incidence", but I do not believe it was a co-incidence. IT WAS INTENDED. The stories I read about - Duane had told me & I had seen the same pictures - the pictures his sister mailed to Duane when we lived in Virginia Bch. VA. Who else had those pics and/or who did Duane share them with and how many copies of those pics existed - the basic story was the same.... Duane's sister told me a lot of things and Duane told me things in 3rd person....a guy I 'used' to know... IT is all about the family connections in WA. Those are the only ones who could have had access to the same stories & same photos. NONE of you know what I speak of but, perhaps the individuals will one day realize they were not the only "plants" given enough information to solve this case when the time came. YET, it takes all of the parties trying to put their own objectivities aside and to work for the common cause to tell the story of the century - but, how do we connect the dots & the stories...they definitely connect and the people connect.... Perhaps I am the only one left with the connections and the insight and with the memories of what I have seen and heard - I am that link....but will I ever be heard.....probably not. I am crazy delusional and off my rocker and I started tha t- because that is what I called myself out of frustration.....all of this stuff I could not explain - and then as the yrs rolled along - here comes this person with this pic and this story....more than on pic and more than one story and more than one source, yet I had only my word. I think Gray started to see the connections and realized the stories started to blend - there was only 2 ways they could blend - we were being used by those who wanted the truth told, but feared the truth would destroy families and lives.... His last chapter was my clue - he had probably stumbled upon other who also had odd qliches in their story...Why he ended the story the way he did. Gray looked at all the suspects and with NO particular directions of this one over that one....did he stumble upon a common thread? I KNOW the ending to his story haunted him and I was his last visit with "witnesses" if you could even call us that. We were people who had been told a story and we could NOT connect the dots. No one could solve the crime - but, there was one common thread - he could feel it in his gut...and it was a BIG but! Even the looneiest of the so called witnesses had some credibility - and he just could NOT find anyone thing that was conclusive regarding any suspect....why he crawled into the cave and set up the tomatoe can alarms. There was one thing that did stand out. Duane Weber told his wife "I'm Dan Coooper". Other family members of other 'suspect' seemingly thought their old friend was Cooper but, not one of the said "I'm Dan Cooper". I was frank and honest with Gray as there was NO need to lie. Others told stories in a more organized way, but No ONE had any proof their suspect was Cooper. I have often wondered WHY Gray zeroed in on the Cugie thing - perhaps gut instinct or maybe just a writer looking for an angle to a story! A Hook for the next book. He never expected to see the wallet or the contents of it. Did he read something that seemingly told him this woman is not lieing. but none of the others seemingly lied. So why does this one suspect haunt him - now we know & why did he feel this gut thing he ended the story the way he did. 1. Bruce why are you here? Only to hear yourself talk or just to make yourself known. 2. Bill Mitchell is not and will not talk to certain indivuals...he is very private as is the co-pilot at this time. Neither have anything to do with Cooper and all they have had to say has been said.. because what they did say to certain individuals has been twist to make the interviewer or writer sound good. 3. Galen is NOT in communications with the individuals he claims to be. You know why the phone number GC gave is not the correct number - because GALEN does NOT and has NOT been intouch with Mitchell...other than maybe yrs ago. Individuals I spoke with over the yrs & some I tried to find are not important - but, I did find & speak to key individuals on that plane. I did not ever get to speak with Florence or Alice. The other crew members I did speak with including the dead - remember I have been at this since 1996. At this time I would have to go thru all of the old records to tell you the names of those I did speak with. Jo only started one short thread on the DZ & that one got closed down - mainly because some of the posters thought it was just a joke...& treated it like some of the other threads in other categories. The second thread I did not start. Evidently Quade saw reason to give me a place to go - I did NOT ask for it & at that time I did NOT even understand how to navigate the DZ. The Websleuths never took off & I was spending my time at 101 and Unsolved mysteries. Websleuths I looked at but did not like the format - too difficult. They did make some strides, but got side tracked by others who had their own reason for participation. My posts had to be long to be heard and yes, I was trying to learn about the skyjacking the only way I could...Yes, I tied a lot of things together that did NOT go together - but all I had was Norjack & Max's book & Ha Ha Ha...I had no sources to build anything on! I came to the DZ to learn & that is what I did. 101 nor Unsolved Mysteries had any real facts and the postings just went NO WHERE. The DZ gave us a format to LEARN & WE did learn - at least most of us did. Others only came here to hear a story, but those of us who were truely interested in the case & had a personal interest preservered & a lot about the crime never before discussed in the public was revealed & discussed. The FBI agent over did his participation in this - as he defrayed from stating facts & it became his opinions...& his wanting to make a name for himself...he actually abused his authority...& he did create some misnomers. What he did was NOT right & that was evident. If he had come here with the purpose of hopefully finding someone who knew secrets - what he did was chase them away. There was 3 individuals who contacted me with information that was very private - and when Ckret showed up - they went POOF! He also tried to make certain aspects of his opinions appear as fact...HE NEVER investigated one THING I shared & DELIBERATELY ignore certain things I did find & did KNOW....now it is too late to uncover those things. Ckret alone is responsible for my loss of 2 valuable contacts. Both are deceased now. He was also NOT reporting facts - he was reporting what HE wanted to...WHY did he NOT make the PICS of Duane PUBLIC at that TIME? Answer that question & you should get a birds eye view of the entire picture. NOT one of you will acknowledge those truths. Remember I pleaded with him for the Jefferson PICS. He also knew my guy was going to go to the prison - & Ckret had to be the reason he was turned away. A lot of money was spent only & when my guy arrived at the prison he was told the file would be released. When did we see the picture? YRS after Ckret was GONE & Shutter made it available...do any of you remember the long silence in the thread when he posted that pic? Jo's long posts? Well, I didn't like that myself - but there was no other way to be heard. Georger never admitted to the thread he & I arranged for the confirmation of the Fitzsimmons discussion. I was the one who had the repore with Galen's brother and I am the one who affirmed the information for Georger. I was the first on DZ to affront Lyle regarding his interview with Fitzsimmons....as I knew what Lyle had told me as I contacted him regarding his brother - why Blevins just never bothered me...I knew the truth and I got it from the horses mouth....I then yrs later reaffirmed this at the urging of Georger...I played the devil's advocate to get Lyle to repeat what he had told me yrs before. It was word for word - IT was not GALEN who did this - but Jo. I had shared it with GALEN in a PM & I have the actual PM's in black and white. Galen uses others & then takes their information for his own & I have the BLACK & WHITE emails to prove it along with a letter he sent me.....yet, some of you seemingly take everything Cook says as the GOD's truth... They who follow those who only strive to deceive will not find their way out of the forest. I fear the earth has become a domain were evil and lies and crimes & deception are acceptable. Perhaps the meek will be the lambs who are slaughtered... Perhaps there is NO way to overcome evil. As I see the world at this point evil, lies and crimes & those who commit them are the one who rule the earth. There seems to be no reason anymore to strive for justic and peace when the American system has been corrupt for yrs. The devils are in control now & we will not find our way out of the forest of deception...I have NO faith in society and the American values we once representated. I give up - there are NO values in telling the truth or standing up for what is right & to stand against what is wrong - now controversary is what motivates - not the knowledge for the truth & to serve justice. DUH! Part of clipping that was found in Duane's Wallet that was hidden...but there was also a rifle for sale ad. For some reason this item fasinated Grey - he couldn't get it out of his head. He kept rattling that little tune - it is catchy "What ever Kugie wants Kugie gets." The only thing familiar about that piece of paper was The Roach Studios as Duane's sister had been involved with a man connected to the Roach Studios. The man had a bomb proof room....something Duane also told me about. In fact I have another item from the Wallet - the obit on Duane's father and that might make it a little more clear why Duane knew this Mr. Roach. Duane's sister used to be married to a MR. ROACH - you see the writers miss things...I do not. This was in the OBIT of Duane's father Claudian J. Weber who was a resident of Arcadia, Ca when he died. This was ALSO in the WALLET! Duane's brother lived in Azusa at the time of his father's death - The yr of death is NOT on this obit, but I am sure I wrote about it before. Duane's uncle lived in Lake Luzerne, N.Y. and his name was ALLISON....I have been sitting on this - NOW have some fun and you will start to pull the pieces of the puzzle together! His wife had an unusual name, but you guys need to do a little of the work. Now what do you guys know about the STOW STEAK HOUSE in Munroe Falls. Ohio? SOMETHING ELSE I never talked about nor has the FBI ever mentioned any of this , but they have it ALL!. The FBI never mentioned a safe deposit box opened Mar (approx) of 1980 in a MID WEST state. A box in the name of John Collins. Duane had retrieved the items from WA on our 1979 trip and made few deposits along the river and then TAHOE. The FBI never mentioned that John C. Collins owned that BOX and why it was SO important for Duane L. WEBER to obtain a new Drivers license with the name of JOHN C. COLLINS on it. Then he makes his mysterious trip & then there is money available that I did not question...just thought the shop was doing good. This was right after he started on the machine & he took his friend with him to the Market in Tallassee and left the friend with the set-up and went POOF for 2 days..Left on Thursday eve and did not return until Sat. He needed a wk day in that town that knew him by John Collins...all the FBI had to do was trace his existence as John Collins and they would have found the evidence of that BOX opened in 1980 and closed in 1990. John C. Collins. REMEMBER the place Duane took me in Mar of 1980 when the money find WAS HOT! He had to bury whatever it was again...only this time he chose a mid west safe deposit box....in the early part of 1980...before he left and went poof for 2 months - I didn't have a contact number for him.. Then in 1990 whe went to retrive it and why he needed the John Collins ID so badly he risked his life & freedom and being found out to obtain it. The two women were best friends... Duane's mother's name was Lorraine Beechler Weber and her mothers maiden name was Wenz. \The Wenz and the other surnames migrated to WA from Mn or N.Y. . Remember this - OUTSIDE of bookkeeping programs I had never touched a computer prior to 2000...I may have attempted to do some searches at the OFFICE after everyone left, but did NOT own a computer until 2000. What time I had alone in the office - was limited...and I didn't know what the HELL I was doing. In 1996 I told Mr. Himmelsbach what Duane said about the Tug boats. We discussed this even though at that time I did not grasp what he was telling me....in the beginning the FBI checked out a lead from what I believe he said was Foss Tugs, but then another name was used. This was a strong lead. I even talked to a man with Foss Tuggs (do NOT really remember the name - might be in the note books) and he told me they shared what they had with the FBI - seems like there was MORE than one suspect they thought connected....but it was not current employment in 1971. The man who spoke to me only knew the hear say and was not in volved in 1971, but did know the name of the man who claimed to know. MR. H has all of this. I do not know if the leads did NOT pan out or what. Seems like some one who worked for the Tug Boats remembered a man he thought could have been Cooper - and not that Cooper was then a current employee. Maybe that man was Geestman, but someone would have to prove to me Geestman was NOT questioned by the FBI in 1972 and the EXACT DATES OF EMPLOYMENT. Belvins told us the yrs. Geestman worked for this or similar industries. Didn't mean to start there but it just came out. I realize NOW that all the information I have been sharing with Blevins (I KEPT COPIES of my COMMUNICATIONS) he is using my information not to find the truth, but to OUT live me & make it part of his story.

For several months now I have sent Blevins some private information I thought he could help me with since he lives in the WA area. Since it has become evident he is NOT going to help - I appeal NOW to any of you WHO live in WA to help me with the vague information I had. Remember I do not know Wa and I do not know HOW to spell the names. Please do what you can...I have trusted the WRONG individuals - individuals with a personal agenda. ALL I want is the truth - but the only way to do that is spell out what Connect I have regarding Weber & WA, OR and CA - they are vague. BECAUSE DUANE TOLD ME IN 1979 ABOUT A MAN WHO WORKED FOR THE SAME COMPANY GEESTMAN DID - I need answers...I told Mr. H about this yrs and yrs ago - from the beginning and it had NOTHING to do with Blevins because at that time I had never heard of Blevins - he was not even on the map. 1. This thread was NOT started by Jo, but the first thread that was quickly shut down after a few pages. Quade started this thread and made certain rules and regulation known. 2. The tie: The clip on tie was very common in the 60 and thru the 70's. Seems like some one had drawn some conclusions NOT based on fact. 3. The clip on I believe is still available. If someone has PROOF that JC. Penny did not sell clip ons in 1971 - and that they did NOT sell clip ons into the late 80's they need to produce their source and proof. 4. J.C. Penny always catered to the poor and medium class with affordable prices...and in certain professions - a clip on remained a necessity. Such as food workers, waiters, bartendors, insurance salemen - if they worked a debit they needed something to take off and put on easily. I was married to a man who worked in that profession. 5. I also worked a debit myself up until 1995 just a few wks before Duane died...the guys in the field wore clip ons.... 6. The name D.B.Cooper was a misnomer. All the FBI did was run Dan Cooper thru the system and they came up with a D.B. Cooper who had a record. He was investigated and that is how D.B. Cooper came to be - it was just a simple matter of investigating what they had. 7. A reporter made the first mistake about D.B. and it stuck! A lot of to do is being made about something so simple it is ridiculous. This is all I have to say tonight, but it seems like the rumors will go on till the end of time. Something all of you including the FBI is the connection of Weber (or whatever name he was using in WA & OR) has been ignored. I suggest and tried to obtain the names of all men attached to or part of the Fire Dept in The DALLES, OR. What will they find - that one of the men with that dept was a relative or friend of the family of Weber. The yrs that are significant are - 1930 to 1949. I provided the names and possible names of family connection in this thread. I tried myself to get into the museum in 2010, but it was election time and the records had been moved from the fire department along with the old photo to the County court house. I tried for 2 day to get access, but due to the election was unable to do so...I had other places to go and to retrack...time and money did not allow me to pursue this at that time. I asked JT to do this - but he never did....claimed he did, but he also made many other claims we all are aware were not substancial. So would I and I will put a bet on it of $100 - if and when Cooper is ID'ed that he did indeed have a criminal record. Not all of the old prints where transferred to the system for prints when it went into effect - and I believe if Duane's was put on that system - it was later and not in the beginning.... Per the story the family told - Weber only passed thru McNeil and was never a resident. Even one of the FBI agent made this statement. Did they continuely use those prints on subsequent arrest and convictions? Has the FBI ever produced prints on Weber made in subsequent arrest? Yes, Kenny was a good guy & a kind guy. If he had children U can bet they would have been all over this a long time ago. So glad to see a positive comment - I am elated. WON a personal battle in the last few days - nothing to do with Cooper. I had to challenge a lot of high ranking individuals (not Cooper related) to do the RIGHT thing....May have knocked a few months off of my life in the process - but I did the RIGHT thing in standing up against the what is RIGHT and could have got myself in a LOT of trouble had I been wrong. Actually expected authorites to knock on my door to serve me or worse...today but.thank GOD my Daddy did a good job teaching me the lay of the land and the geologically processes and how to identify them...I wanted to be an engineer and design dams and protect our waters, but girls did NOT become engineers in my day. I took a stand against FEMA and the county and was basically told to mind my own business or I was going to get in trouble. Someone had to knock some sense into the authorities and I'll be damned if I was going to stay silent and see a man's home destroyed because of STUPID mistakes and the GREED I have encounter with the authorities... I held my ground and stayed on the phone most of Friday and today figured the guys with a straight jacket would arrive with orders or I would be served. Thought I was going to get myself arrested - (then Galen would have had something to write about). I did the right thing and as usual by being verbal and loud and contacting others and raising cane, the right thing was done! Had I stayed silent - the deed would have been done and then covered up... I knew what was being done was WRONG and gave up after I exhausted every means I had - other than hiring a lawyer and that was NOT feasible because the damage would already have been done.....the situation would have cause irreptuable damage to others. Today - I saw the the situation being corrected before it was too late and the damage done. I handled it the only way it could be handled - confrontal and threatening and upfront - not after the fact....and as the situtation unfolded. BYE ! I am really very tired. Actually I guess it is relief - it is over and done with - unlike Cooper - which seems to be never ending. The guys with the straight jacket might still show up! A bar in Orchards 3 Towers 3 Airfields Cooper knows owners of all 3 In fact Weber pointed out every airstrip & Sluggo did verify they was airstrips in those areas. One airstrip didn't show on the map, but an older map was located that showed it had actually been there in the past. Old airstrip map dared to the 1940's/1950 so it showed the gravel pits and the airstrips. A map I had that went POOF and Sluggo saw it. Then he find there was indeed an airstrip there that no longer existed. How could I know this if Duane didn't tell me? Duane pointed out two airstrip near Amboy - Fauger west of Amboy and one just North/East of Amboy The FBI and the government did NOT send all of those searchers to the West - they sent them to the most logical place and that was based on data they had and witness accounts and the crew....and the radar. Only those without a solid reason keep trying to move the possible landing area. Their only objective is to force facts to support their verson of the money find. The money find did just that it shifted or created theories about the plane being further to the West. Don't you guys get it - that was the purpose! Why Duane did what he did - at that time he just wanted by leaving only the damaged money. to leave the damaged money behind - no one could spend it after all those yrs in that storage shed and it had been wet.... Mattie Findley had a son who was a jumper and Duane knew both of them. Mattie Findley knew Mildred Ford....how are the connected? Answer that and the case is solved. The clues to Cooper are right here in this thread but, no one knows where to look or they just want the GAME to continue. So what did Cooper do in his real ife....he helped build airstrips and towers and airport in the STATES of WA & OR and ID. If he did that in 1945 to 1950 or 1962 to 1966 - using an alias. Maybe even his real name. Knowledge of communication towers and signals. The FBI didn't look at the common labor who built the towers, who cleared the land and helped build the airstrips. PLEASE READ - THIS IS AN EDIT FOR SOME REASON I AM DRIVEN TO FINISH THIS NOW IT IS 5 am MY TIME AND I HAVE ANOTHER LONG ONE AFTER THIS - IT WAS PART OF THIS POST BUT I CUT IT OFF: If I know - I am not telling, but hope there is one still alive to finish what was started....or perhaps shared his or her knowledge with someone they could trust. Having a name that could NOT be traced - was a factor....but NO one looked for that man who removed the trees and cleared the land and carried the quarry goods and went with the others to airports when work or a new job was coming down. Just a guy NO one gave a second thought to...a guy that was a hard worker but eager to learn and was quick to pick up on things. He was a likable character, but he was a ghost. Tosaw was sitting on top of the truth - but for some reason looked right thru it....as so many including myself have done over the yrs. Duane actually told me the truth, but it has taken me 18 yrs to unravel it. After Duane died my door had a forced entry, but nothing seemed to be taken - the FIRE IRONS - the tops where askew and one was on the floor - a little something even I forgot about....Since we had been robbed when we first moved there in 1988 - I did not turn in a burgarly report in 1995 - because nothing to my knowledge was missing. Figured it was kids. I did put an alarm on the door. If the person only found a few 20's and an old ticket - bet they were disappointed. I have tried to figure out who Duane would have told. There could have been a note in the wallet that was found. He could have told one of the care givers to give me a message, but instead thought it might be jewelry. One person told me Duane had promised his rings to him/her, but I knew that was not true as we had little to spare. There was a man coming around - but I didn't know him - he was younger than Duane. Remember the shop was broken into - and they took something, but Duane never told me what was missing from behind the door...nothing obvious was missing from the shop but the entered thru a window after tearing out the AC. Duane went immediately the door of the work room and said 'Damn they got it". He never told me who got what! Nothing in the shop was missing other than what was behind that door. He was upset, but he always kept his cool - he was able to hide his feeling about things. So are these just incidents - I think not. IF something OBVIOUS had been taken - but, in every incident - it was NOT obvious other than the first robbery - that one we knew it was the man who helped us unload the furniture. Duane had given him a check to put up a fence while we were gone...and when we got home we had been robbed and there was no fence. The man had a rap sheet so long it was pathetic...they never found our stuff....TV, Microwave, anything they could sell. Took boxes I had not unpacked - my family heirlooms - which I had label MY TREASURES. I think they were after a line of jewelry I was selling, but I had take it with me to service an acct along the way...now I forgot where we had to go as soon as we moved into the house and before I could unpack everything. There was a bar in Orchards and those guys will tell you the plane passed very near them....Their first thought was the jump strip just South East of their location....guess who it belonged to? None other than the subject of Bruce's last conversations. THANKsGIVING eve & some of them were supposed to be else where that night. That bar was conveniently between to jump fields...both of which belonged to one person.... Anyone care to look up when those airfields where built or improved....you might also note even though a couple of them are gone - that they formed a triangle. In fact Weber pointed out every airstrip & Sluggo did verify they was airstrips in those areas. In fact someone took my OLD airport map or I left it in Wa in 2010....there was NOT another one like it. Dated to the 1940's/1950 so it showed the gravel pits and the airstrips. If anyone knows how to acquire that old map please let me know how I can get another one. The one I had was a copy and I do not remember who supplied that map. Had a tool for the gravel pits and a small plane for the air strips. Some one got that map for me in the early yrs and sent it to me. Might have been Jerry Thomas or Himmelsbach. Maybe Cooper had help and maybe he just got lucky. Sluggo was amazed I knew where all of the airstips were - Duane pointed them out and the told me about all of them - even the one Sluggo had forgotten about that was no longer there. So what did Cooper do in his real ife....he helped build airstrips and towers and airport in the STATES of WA & OR and ID. If he did that in 1945 to 1950 or 1962 to 1966 - the FBI would HAVE no record of that employment and NO one would remember a worker building an airstrip. The Towers took knowledge and NOW I know how Duane knew so damn much about communications and towers - things a normal person would have NO knowledge of. All of this also took knowledge of knowing where the rock quarries were located....something Duane knew and talked about. NOW you guys figure it out - I have already done it. Was there more than one person - well, it was pretty damn hard for more than one person to keep a secret from 1971 to 1995, but I do know that others knew who Cooper was or suspected who he was - but did not know him by his real name.
